  1. Naturally, as this theme borrows heavily from Space. As for the Bricks & Pieces, I checked the Nexo Knights sets a little bit ago and was disappointed with the selection. They don't have all of the visors, and hardly any minifigure pieces. I also didn't see the books. They do have the pyramid pieces and shield pieces, though. I'll have to BrickLink what I want, but BrickLink is behind on getting the inventories updated.
  2. I had heard that he shaved right before the filming started. Also, he had already filmed some scenes in the same location used at the end of TFA to be used in Episode 8, so I figured that after those scenes he comes out of hiding and shaves. Maybe I'm wrong. Either way, a TFA Luke minifigure would be great for a May the 4th polybag.
  3. Well, the designer has confirmed that Flama is a male. So maybe this means Flama was born a male, but now identifies as female.
  4. Absolutely. And as far as Luke in Episode 8, I heard he shaved. So that means there would be a difference between a Luke from TFA and from Episode 8. And that preliminary X-Wing looks pretty legitimate, which I like because I was hoping for a Lor San Tekka minifigure.
  5. , Gerwomen,
  6. I wish he was in a set that I liked.
  7. I've been going with "Flah-mah" personally. "Flay-ma" sounds too much like someone with an accent using a slur. Flama is supposed to be representing lava's liquid state, so fluidity is appropriate. I'd love to see some of the original concepts for Nexo Knights, much like these original Chima concepts. I'm a fan of Boudon / Toth, and would be really interested in that art. Now that I know that he was involved, I'm not at all surprised. Especially considering how much the lava characters look like his old demon concepts.
  8. Thank you. I'm glad to see another who thinks like I do. Exactly. But we shouldn't expect to get Sulley or Mike here. I'm really hoping we will see them eventually.
  9. It's an atrocity that he was given such a ridiculous name. I'm hoping for Luke as the May the 4th promotion. Bearded Luke would be great.
  10. There are shows with male characters voiced by females (Bart from the Simpsons) and females voiced by males (Tina from Bob's Burgers), so the gender of the voice actor is irrelevant to the gender of the character. Sounds to me like the character was designed to be male, but LEGO took that design and interpreted the character as female. I'm still sticking with gender fluid.
  11. I'd still prefer it to a non-minifigure. I don't like those. Then again, I don't know why I'm complaining. I don't really care for Mike anyways, and probably wouldn't find much in the way of useful parts if he was a minifigure.
  12. It's also interesting to know their approximate age, they are tweens. Kidding, I think he was intending to say twins, judging by context. And they do look very similar.
  13. I'd say that's a good qualifier, minifigure compatibility.
  14. The figures are atrocious, but I'm not keen on deviations from the minifigure base. Also, I'm not into Angry Birds as a thing, so I have no attachment to the characters. I do like some of the sets, though. At least a little. The castle is probably the best castle of 2016, despite its pigness.
  15. And I can still think of Flama as gender neutral. But it's nice to have a confirmation from the designer that there was an original intention in gender at one point.
  16. I mean, I realize that Spongebob is a square shape, but they could use the same concept of a torso covering that they use on Spongebob, but make it Mike shaped.
  17. Are you Alexandre Boudon?
  18. wings
  19. I surely hope not. I think a minifigure is a minifigure. Sometimes they may have a different head (like aliens), or a different torso (with claws or hook hands, or long arms, or chicken wings), or different legs (like a skirt, or peg-legs), but they are still minifigures. I wouldn't consider a Skeleton to be a minifigure, even though it uses a minifigure head. So I'm hoping they stick to 'mostly' traditional minifigures, since this is a Collectible Minifigure series, not a Collectible Character series. We've got enough non-minifigure characters in Nexo Knights as it is (books, banners, and bricks). I disagree. For one, he shouldn't be much bigger than a Minotaur. For two, a nice head piece like the Minotaur's that comes down over the chest and back, and includes a tail, would mean only one piece. Even if you separate the tail and make it like the Lizard Man, that's only 2 pieces, and we occasionally see minifigures that use 3 new molds. They already have long arms from Toy Story that would work for him. Anyways, I'd call the above post a sad confirmation that Sulley will not be in the series (despite the fact that he could be done without issue). So while it's fun to defend my opinion, it's a bit of a moot point now. And as much as I would really love a minifigure version, I suppose a bigfig would be acceptable (but it obviously couldn't come from this series, and may never come at all).
  20. Do you mean Legends? Or do you mean current non-movie materials? Because there is no EU anymore. So the release date for the Droid Escape and Carbon Freezing Chamber has been pushed back to March. When in March, the 1st?
  21. It would capture the character better than the Angry Birds things. Also, it's a minifigure, which is always preferred in my case. Unless Mike is done as a short character, which he should be since he's only about as tall as an 6 year old human (slightly taller than Boo, who is a toddler). I trust you as a source, so when you say not to expect him, I assume we aren't getting him in this series. However, when you say he's too complicated to make, I'll have to argue against it.
