I disagree. I think the Gargoyle's wings would work just fine. As much as 2 differently articulated wings would be nice, I don't think it's necessary. And while they are a bit small, I don't think it's such a problem that they couldn't be used. The tail and headpiece would be the only new molds required, and shouldn't be too much trouble to do. However, as much as I would love to see them, I doubt any Gargoyles would be in this series. It was a popular show, but still a bit older and obscure, and I don't think that's where they're going with this. I definitely see some of Mickey's gang of friends making it in this series, but to use Mickey Mouse Clubhouse as the basis for this doesn't work. The show is aimed at preschoolers, so if anything they would be marketed as Duplo figures. Of course, I still see any of the main staple characters as possibilities (including B or C list characters like Scrooge, Ludwig, Pete, Clarabelle, Chip, and Dale), just making a point that the referenced show is definitely for a younger audience than the Collectible Minifigures series.

Details? So, basically just a red Jestro? Or red & black? Or red & orange? That is a pretty nice treasure chest.

Funny, because the armor in that image looks the same, but that helmet is a nice new design.

Anyways, this is a nice list, and I wouldn't mind having most of these.

Agreed. I love a lot of these unreleased ideas, and I'd love to see more of them. It's too bad all of the Castle pictures were so small.

I picked one up tonight at Target, and used a coupon to get it for $42. That's about how much it should have been in the first place.

Got mine today at the LEGO Store. Looking forward to putting those legs to use.

The trans-blue swords make nice crystals or ice shards. The 6 1x1 pyramids are really nice to have. The silver variant armor is much better than the one with trans-orange shoulders. Moltor and Ash Attacker are my favorites here. I also like that Flamethrower comes with the same legs as Ash Attacker, those are nice legs. You know, I really hate you sometimes.

I'm glad it is seen as lighthearted banter, because I really don't mean any offense. People like what they like. Nexo Knights is fine for what it is. The prices are nice enough that I was really considering buying a couple of sets. Held them in my hands and tried to find any redeeming qualities that I could use as excuses to make the purchase. Ultimately didn't buy anything, but I'm not going to be one to say there's nothing of value in the theme at all. There are plenty of things I will end up buying through BrickLink or elsewhere. Anyways, it's nice to know there are no hard feelings over this debate. As for future Castle sets, I still hope we see a return to a more Classic Castle. I'd love it if someone were to make something great in Ideas to breathe some new energy into the theme, like the Exo-Suit did for Classic Space. In the meantime, we'll have to settle for a few minifigures and parts here and there, and a pig castle.

That would be amazing, but the Hook theories are probably correct. What about Monsters Inc? That's the first movie I think of when I think of Pixar (mostly because it's my favorite).

Sadly, the answer is no, but your mileage may vary. It seems you already like some of what you are seeing, so you may feel differently.

I actually considered buying a couple of these sets today. Ended up not getting any (but I did get the free offer at the LEGO Store), mostly due to minifigure distribution. I like that the Ash Attacker is in a $10 set, but the set is awful. I would have preferred him in the other $10 set, which has a better looking build. I like that Lance is in 3 sets, but I don't really like the build on the Evil Mobile (which was wider than I expected), and the fact it only comes with 2 minifigures for $60 (although they are 2 of the best). I also don't like the Robo Horse, or the other minifigures included in the set. I thought about the Library because of Lance and Ava, but it's not that great a set, and I've soured a bit on the books now that I see that they are all translucent covers (except for the Book of Monsters, which is cool). As much as I love the detail put into the King's Mech, and the King himself, I don't really like the color scheme and the shield arm. So in the end, I've decided I will probably just go to Bricks & Pieces or BrickLink to find Lance (or just his visor), Jestro, Ash Attacker torsos and legs, and the Book of Monsters. Maybe Moltor, Ava, the King & Queen, Macy's plume, and some of those cool pyramid pieces as well.

What a bummer. I was really hoping to find some series 15 at Target this morning.

That would be disappointing. Can anyone confirm whether the next Jestro from the Lava Castle set will be a minifigure or a brick-built monster?

With the series 14 Gargoyle, I can imagine a Gargoyles character being a possibility. I can also see it not happening, since that series was so recent. Could be cool to see it, though I don't expect it.

So we can assume some sort of lava-like appearance. Thanks for the tip. I'm hoping he gets a black jester hat with red / orange balls.

I was wondering the same. Looking forward to getting a couple of sets from the Original Trilogy.

I'm also a huge fan of Chris Pratt since Parks & Rec. I'm happily surprised his career has gone as well as it has. According to the reports I've read, Harrison Ford will return as Indiana Jones. He is eager to return to the part (probably because he will get another huge chunk of money like he did for Star Wars). I could see the next Indy going somewhat like Star Wars, where he is in it to pass the torch to a new character. I don't think Pratt will play Indy, but maybe another character that will spin off the franchise in the same universe.

What about Jestro? Not an ultimate, but I'd assume he will be in his Lava Castle set. You mentioned that there would be a different Jestro between this wave and the next. Is it a big difference?

I love those sea-people aliens new molds. I also love the various medieval sets, including Europa. Too bad many of these were never released.
