  1. Right here! Right here!
  2. A UCS Lars Homestead could be great, but I don't think there would be enough characters to include as minifigures. The Geonosian Arena idea is fantastic, and hopefully it would have a good variety of Jedi and molded creatures. Maz's Cantina is another one that would make for a good UCS set, if you ask me. That way, we could get a good bunch of those minifigures. Also, it would be a fun build.
  3. I would love the Force Ghost Obi-Wan. There are others on your wishlist that I'd like, but a tans-blue minifigure would be amazing.
  4. Exactly. I don't expect any characters that are only in Rogue One to be in the Death Star set, but it should still be a great set for fans of Rogue One.
  5. I highly doubt it. This is the Bantha we need, and I really don't think it would be in such a small set.
  6. I'd be more excited about Moana if it were minifigure sets. They could work well with Pirates Islanders. I'm getting tired of minidolls. And Palace Pets. And Frozen...
  7. Someone posted this in the 2016 thread, but I thought I'd respond to it in the 2017 thread where it belongs. Sorry about the double post, hopefully the other post gets moved in here between my posts. My guess is constraction (if I'm being pessimistic). My optimistic guess is something more like the Ultimates, but it sounds like there's some sort of play feature. I wonder if these are the sets where they have the space suits we've been hearing about, and other sets will have them in a similar style to the normal sets.
  8. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that I'm a fan of the Castle theme. I wouldn't want a series like Christmas because it would be unlikely to feature Castle minifigures. If they did a whole series of Castle minifigures, I'd be happy because that's 16 minifigures rather than the 2-4 we get in any other normal series. So I wouldn't mind if other themes got their turn afterwards, because I'd likely spend enough on the Castle series that I would have exhausted my budget for minifigures for the year on a single series. Also, others would have the same chance with their favorite theme. So, I guess a Christmas theme would be alright (although I'd prefer the generic Holiday theme that doesn't cater to any one religion), so long as I get a whole series for my theme of choice as well.
  9. I agree. Rock monsters seem bland by comparison.
  10. I'm always in support of more location sets. I say bring it on.
  11. I wouldn't be opposed to a few Christmas related minifigures (or winter for that matter, like the current set with a Penguin Suit, small Penguin, and Ice Queen). I wouldn't like a whole series of them, though. I don't think the Monsters series was very successful, and the idea bothered me at the time. But at least it was a generic Monsters series rather than a Halloween series. I just don't like a whole series to be focused on one theme like that. Normal series usually cover a wide variety of themes, like Space, Castle, City, Western, and more. This is much harder to achieve with a themed series. It didn't work well with Monsters, and I doubt it would work well with Christmas. Now, if they were to do a Castle themed series, I'd be all for it. I wouldn't even mind if the next series was Space, and the next after that was Western. I'd probably feel a lot differently if there was actually a worthy Castle theme on the shelves.
  12. I agree, the Death Star is likely to be all OT. While I wouldn't be surprised to see a minifigure or 2 from Rogue One, I feel it will likely be characters that appear in both. For instance, Death Star crewmen, gunners, officers, and droids.
  13. To be honest, the rock villains don't sound as good as forest or sea monsters. Those sound original. Rock monsters sounds like Nexo Power Miners.
  14. There may be hope for Castle yet. According to sources in the Action Adventure Themes forum, next year's Nexo Knights will have big space suits. So maybe they will take Nexo Knights to Space and give us something truly Castle. I highly doubt it. I mean, I would have called the current armor a space marine suit, so it may just be a case of subjective opinion and terminology. Either way, I'm trying to be optimistic about it.
  15. Yes, it would be perfect for Space fans.
  16. The Mushroom Island sounds interesting, as do the others.
  17. Black and red samurai could be cool. I hope they use dark red. And I hope they don't have bright green things on their chests.
  18. Oh no. That sounds bad.
  19. No Yoda's Hut. Well, that's a shame, it could have been a nice set. Yoda's Jedi Starfighter. That will be cool. I love the design. I don't generally buy vehicles. This one, I might buy.
  20. So, I guess they realized that this was more of a Space theme than a Castle theme, thus the move into space suits and cruisers. A little disappointed if the forest and sea creatures don't make it into the market, but maybe this is a better turn of events for Castle themes.
  21. I don't get it. Are you saying that rock monsters are on the way, and that the forest and sea monsters are not? Edit: Nevermind, I read the 2017 thread, so it makes sense. It just doesn't make sense that it was in this thread.
  22. Completely agree. I've had a hard time deciding if I should go with yellow or flesh, and have a few of each (yellow is currently far in the lead). Minidolls never even make it near my collection. I assess whether I want the hair piece, and the rest goes into a baggie to give to my nieces (if I didn't have nieces, I'd just toss them).
  23. That's not the point. The point is that not all projects using the LDD backgrounds are inherently crap.
