  1. They could do what the original run of Voltron did (fitting enough, if you ask me) and kill off one of the knights. That way Robin or Ava could take their place as a full knight. I highly doubt that would happen, as the show / theme just isn't that mature. Just making Robin a full knight would be a step up, especially as a black knight. It could be cool to see what the Ultimate Rock Candy version of that would be, in trans black. An Ultimate King and Queen could be nice to see as well.
  2. I agree. I think that's the most accurate look. Trans (clear) is too clear, and solid white is too solid. This is a good compromise. Trans (clear) would be the best purist route, though. Also, it would be fairly expensive.
  3. There are things I liked about the movie. I thought most of the cast was good. Still, despite the inaccuracies, I found it enjoyable. And my girlfriend, who had never read the book, also enjoyed the movie.
  4. Maybe, but I still don't think that justifies the price.
  5. It's hard to pick a favorite. So I'll just pick a couple of the minifigures I own. This is one of my favorites: I also love this one: Because I've been a fan of this design since the Visionaries comic.
  6. It looks pretty bad, but I don't like certain versions of characters used in the film. I'm not a fan of the white trash Harley, and much prefer the original from the Animated Series. Anyways, I watched Ender's Game recently. Not as good as the book (which is normal for a movie based on a book). The pacing felt wrong, and I didn't like some of the changes.
  7. I wasn't aware, either. It works, though, with the framing story of the Illustrated Man. And having read October Country, I'd say that not only is he a very good writer of short stories, but also that these are some of his best. Fahrenheit 451 was a fantastic novel, and I'm looking forward to reading more from him in the future. Next on the list, however, is Orson Scott Card's Speaker For The Dead. I really enjoyed Ender's Game (more than I would have expected), so I'm hoping this one is as enjoyable a read.
  8. That should be spread across all sets, not focused on these small Ultimates, since most sets include the relevant pieces.
  9. Lovelace & Babbage would be interesting. It's also a more proper way to highlight a female, by not calling attention to the fact that she's a woman and instead focusing on her accomplishments. I wouldn't mind seeing that one pass review.
  10. I picked up a 2nd Rey's Speeder set at 20% off.
  11. They all have piece counts from the mid 60's to mid 70's (except for Aaron at 82 and Macy at 101). The price should probably by $6.99, maybe $7.99 at most (even that feels too high). $10 is too high, especially when there are other small sets at that price (Glob Lobber, Battle Blaster, and Chaos Catapult), each with 2 minifigures.
  12. Fantastic build! It really captures the energy of the scene. I wish the first image was taken from a slightly different angle to see where the neck connects to the head of the dragon, but aside from that this is a really wonderful build and presentation. The dragon is really well executed, using the Ninjago wings works beautifully. I also love all of that neon. All around excellence. Great work!
  13. I think they're overpriced, personally. Aside form that, I'm not a fan of the Rock Candy Knights of the Nexo faction. I'm not all that keen on the Lava faction, either, but some of them do look better. I wish there was an Ultimate Ash Attacker or Jestro. It would be a shame to do away with Ultimates completely. An adjustment to the price would be better, and likely sell more. Also, I'd be interested to see how the other evil factions turn out, as I feel I'll be more interested in the Forest and Sea monsters than the current Lava monsters.
  14. 60 supporters is really not a lot. And I don't see what Deadpool has to do with it.
  15. Great idea. It looks good, too!
  16. The only one I liked (from all of Chima) was the Gorilla Legend Beast: Which is ironic, since I don't like brick-built creatures. And the minifigure that came with it was useless to me, whereas it's usually the other way around.
  17. I'd love to see it in pearl dark grey.
  18. That Scooby head on the Friends body looks so good, since the flesh tones match up.
  19. One thing I didn't like about the minifigures, and I'll use the Gorillas as an example, was the weird colors. What's with all the bright green?
  20. I saw this on the September calendar: I guess they're not selling that well?
  21. I'd love a Mas Amedda minifigure.
  22. I would expect them to produce a cane and lightsaber that would fit in the baby hands if they made Yoda a baby minifigure. I doubt they would do that, however. I imagine Yoda will have short legs.
  23. I recently purchased the Eclipse Fighter.
  24. That's a fantastic representation of the Desert Temple, and a wonderful build in its own right. Every detail that could be captured without using a printed tile is present. It looks awesome, and I only hope that LEGO has as much dedication to the source material should they ever choose to make a similar set. Great job!
