I thought there would be a tv station sub theme this year because of the TV copter in the City Square set and the broadcast antenna in one of the fire sets. There wasn't. Those new pieces or builds can seem like hints but it prolly doesn't mean anything.

Barnes & Noble in the U.S. has a buy 1 get one half off deal twice a year on toys, and older LEGO sets are usually included in that.

That CREATOR camper is going to make the recent CITY campers and caravans look pathetic... What scale do people here use for the cars in their LEGO city? I think I might take all the 4 wide CITY cars and 6 wide trucks out of my modular display street and just have the larger scaled vehicles from other themes like Speed Champions.

The Batboat set with Deathstroke is still around, though most Targets and Walmarts were cleaned out of LEGO during the holiday season, and a lot of summer 2015 sets have not been restocked there.

No, it doesn't hafta be, but we're talking about a set being released within a month of the SS premiere, and Killer Croc is a main member in the movie version of the squad. So, like I said, chances are it'll be another squad member or a character featured in the movie. If we're actually getting one.

IF the LEGO store employee did in fact know something, and that's a big if (re: how the Nexo Knights thread started), the new villain was gonna be in the Killer Croc set, so chances are it will be a Suicide Squad member.

How many bought the City Square set from last year? It was a great set for CITY standards (a little simple for AFOLs prolly but so are most CITY sets). And we're getting a gas station and a park later this year. Add to that the many CREATOR and even Juniors buildings, and there is plenty of civilian stuff. Maybe not proportional to the amount of fire and police stations, but still, I don't really get all these same complaints over and over. Also, I hope you at least take the hair pieces off as they can be used on minifigs as well as minidolls.

It's really fantastic other than that one issue. Shame... I think I'll contact LEGO customer service and see what they say about it.

One of these? http://cache.lego.co...5/2/6106472.jpg I don't mess much with CCBS so I don't have spare parts hanging around but these basically add friction, right? The set comes with two of them for the ankle hip joints, should have had them for the shoulders as well.

It's a Walmart exclusive in the U.S. And only one part about it sucks: there is not nearly enough friction on the left shoulder joint to keep up the shield flyer thing with the robot. Is that a known issue?

I plan to. I'm bricklinking the green grocer at the moment and will try to integrate last year's Friends food market into the first level, mostly the food elements and sign and stuff.

I was trying to stay away from Nexo Knights because I really don't need another theme to get into, but I accidentally bought the King's Mech yesterday because it just looks so awesome. I hope it sucks so I won't want any other Nexo Knights sets.

I saw the Blue Power Jet on clearance at Walmart for $50. It's a set that is on my radar, but many other sets are ahead of it. I usually really enjoy Creator sets for the builds but don't keep them on display, so they have to have useful parts for city building and I'm not sure if this one has that. Opinions?

That police station is great. You should add a helipad to the roof, if LEGO EVER decides to release a police helicopter. The Bike Shop modification is as good as any I've seen, and the terrace really gives it character. The Toy Shop was never really a good base to start from but you've done well with it. I'd like to see what you do with the Corner Deli. Has anyone here ever tried to extend the LEGO Store from 60097 City Square into a 16-wide modular?

Your square looks very impressive. I think doubling up works better on the Town Hall (looks fantastic!), the Restaurant and the Bank (though this really needs another floor, in my opinion) than on the Pool Hall and the Pet Shop.

Parisian Restaurant is the better one in my opinion, but it's close. The DO is a great build too, especially towards the end, an both have some really unique building techniques and elements. Also, rather than creating a new topic for a question like this, maybe post in existing threads, like the "Which set should I buy" in the general discussion subforum or the main modular thread in the city forum.

Figs are awesome. Wallpaper is awesome, and I hope it will get re-used in many sets to come because I want a bunch of it. The bat mobile is awesome other than the windscreens. The other vehicles are pretty good. The office and lab look good too, but the many stickers bother me more here than in the GBHQ set.

Went looking for the Antman set, thought I'd get it before it's gone since it recently retired. I was too late, I guess, as Target and Walmart were all out. Got the Batboat with Deathstroke instead.

They keep releasing more and more and more sets each year, so they prolly have to cut down on carrying over old sets and giving them new production runs to make up for that.
