  1. "Nap-time!" Really nice build. Something's bugging me though..that 1x1 tile on the outside of the binocular pieces, how the heck is that staying on?
  2. Assigning acceleration values rather than speed might work better. As for the light speed limit - bonus points for originality! Most people just handwave that away, I do.
  3. Thanks. I've got an entire biker gang I'll be posting sooner or later. Space shark got him! space shark coming soon, pending bricklink order Thank you!
  4. Certainly looks solid enough. Great job on this. Probably my favorite SHIP design this year.
  5. I love this idea. I can picture an entire station made of things like this.. common areas, residential blocks, whatever.. reconfiguring itself whenever.
  6. Set 31008, Thunder Wings seems built with this in mind, anyone else notice? Official photos don't show it, but there's a perfect spot for the fingers, right under the wings. Anyway YES. I build swooshability into my stuff when I can. The rails and round tiles on the sides of this thing, are there specifically to give a good hold.
  7. Time, for flying rockets For silver jets For surfing bombs I've been making tiny little spacecraft. I'm up to a dozen of those speeder bikes and now, two surfboards.
  8. That was really bad and you should feel bad. I like these builds, great shapes and bonus points for monochrome. Nice writeup too. But those speeds don't sound right. Under 2000mph.. in atmosphere, or in space? And why is hyperspace travel slower than light?
  9. These are REALLY cool. I especially like your take on 6932, I have very mixed feelings about that set. Agreed with what others said. This looks very appropriate for Ideas.
  10. Nice shape, great greebling! I second what he said, about the engines.
  11. Wow, nice. Great interior too.
  12. Great details, and that white helmet/backpack makes a surprisingly good combination.
  13. A castle is a castle even if somebody put tank treads on it. Castles are historical, knights are historical, podracers are historical, they're just from a galaxy far far away. The thread is exactly where it belongs. plus, all the complaining is funny
  14. Thanks! I like that 'ancient automatons' description. That skeletal/mechanical look is what I like about Bionicle, I just wish it integrated with System easier. Maybe, studs instead of holes on the armor shells..
  15. Really nice designs. The tooth pieces in the back of the white one are a nice touch.
  16. In your hearts, you know I'm right!! PSM Steve says, hell yeah! More arms is more better! Soooo these are two Skull Slicers, somewhat modified. I removed the arms gearing for a more solid skeleton. They're going to make decent aliens in my Classic Space universe, I've got a few mechs of roughly that size. They're also both works in progress - I'm really new to Bionicle, suggestions are welcome!
  17. Nice build, and nice writeup! The boat-weight wings are a great touch.
  18. I would love to see these. And while you're saving up for the actual stickers, you could always just photoshop the logos in.. I've done that on a MOC or two.
  19. Some fantasy elements would be nice, to give it all some flavor. Psychotic-looking bad guys with lots of red and dark red for flavor going up against knights in elaborate armor, with almost-humanoid robot sidekicks. Strange vehicles are a must, including maybe a fortress on tank treads. Lots of neon orange to offset the dreary gray castle walls.
  20. Well, I've got a couple displays like this.. Time only adds to the authenticity. It's lunar dust, see?
  21. I like this 'space civillian' sort of thing, there's not enough of it out there. Nice build. Nice use of stickers. Iveco in space, awesome!
  22. Great color scheme, I like it. What does TT stand for?
  23. Nice little army. And thanks for that link, I think I'll be picking up a few pairs.
  24. Hey you're right! It's been a long time since I watched that.
