  1. Second one's my favorite. I have to ask, how did you do that photo effect?
  2. I actually really like that standard grille piece - nice job!
  3. Well, hell. I had one of those sprues. I threw it out just last week. Nice idea. Looks like I'll need more harpoons in my life. That center section, is it standard bar thickness?
  4. That's true, but I really want to use this thing. It vexes me! A thorn in my SIDE. In my space city four wheels is anathema. That's a great idea, has potential. Thanks, I'll play around with it. I found something that works in the meantime. Narrow-barrel revolvers fit like they were made for this space. There's the Mk.I, I'll give it proper greebling later.
  5. So, I've been trying to convert that into a totally awesome hoverboard, awesomeness optional, and can't quite figure out how to go about it.. here's my question. Can anyone suggest me parts that fit those little axle holes? The long antenna does but it's a long antenna. The radio antenna likewise, but, well, no. Those robot arms are almost okay, but the hand portions are too long to allow using one per side. The ring portion of that 1x1 whatsit isn't a very secure hold. -zenn had an interesting approach here that uses minifig hands. Looks great, but they're not a perfect fit and I dislike using disembodied hands anyway. Cutting off the axle holders is right out, but the alternative is stacking on greebling until the thing's the size of a small spaceship...any suggestions?
  6. Some of these are really tough. Maybe you could expand the scope a little and have a mini-vignette for each. It'd allow some mood, detail and accuracy, for example a surfer doesn't really scream 'Australia' to me; I'd go with something like this
  7. It's insane and I love it, actually. :D Nice choice of crew, their expressions are perfect.
  8. I think I saw this in the blacktron group before you posted it here. Nice JOB. I really like that glassed-in front cargo hold thing.
  9. Thanks guys. Some is reposts. Some is new photos of stuff I've posted before. I decided to dump everything because why not.. :D Thanks. And I'd like to see that, post when done? Here's an exploded view. I swapped out some parts for different colors.
  10. I'm running out of shelf space. All my Blacktron stuff is getting taken apart tonight, after photos.. I think I've posted a few of these before, but some are new. Invader Mk.XVII, first of all. Heavy modification of set 6894. Ripper, a fast all-terrain attack unit sort of thing. Stone Crow... I'm not good with names.. long-range scout bike. Sprinter, a fast courier bike. This is a nameless generic design, I also have Classic Space and civillian versions. Just a small people mover. Striker, a small armored car. Aaaaand a little robot with socialist leanings. Roboproletarians of the universe, unite! That's about it, thanks for looking. Even as I'm taking these things apart I'm getting ideas for new ones..
  11. That is a really cool design. Good luck with Ideas, it's got my vote.
  12. WOW. The gas masks look a little too mousy I think. They'd be better shorter, blunt. But still, this is amazing, I'd be all over these if Lego actually made them. And I don't even play 40k..
  13. Inconsistent minifig head prints. I had to put an opaque visor on McTinyface over there.
  14. I like this. Nice job on the tailfins and especially rear bumper. But I keep thinking it would look better with quad headlights, one pair above the other.
  15. These new helmets DO look nicely spacey, and work well with regular visors. But they're too complex to work with classic Space. Maybe the green one would work with that new green Futuron print, but I haven't got either to check.
  16. ...and if you disagree, then let me know, what's it like to be so wrong? Does it hurt? Anyway, I bought set 60085, and I'm not sure why. Eventually I rebuilt it into something else. In my mind City and Space were always part of the same theme, coterminous, and if I ever become rich I'm going to build a city to reflect this - futuristic buildings and cars with a decent spaceport, none of Lego's current space shuttle stuff. Anyway, here's something along those lines, a truck transporting a little spacecraft. Trailer has legs for parking, can also fit one of my standardized space cargo containers, and the little shuttle seats two. Then I had to think of something to do with that huge dumb boat hull, so..it's a spaceship of some alternate space faction. Yes, that's it. These guys like orange and gray for some reason. I need more orange parts, it never ends...
  17. Looks like half a dozen freckles in pyramidal formation.
  18. Give it a giant extension cord! I like it. Nice calves and feet especially.
  19. Nice job. And nice use of that trike body.
  20. Really nice design. Nice parts use, like the old 1x1 windows for accents. The ankle joints jump out at me, though, they look pretty weak. edit: hey what piece are you using for the gun on its right side? Looks like three really thin bars squeezed together.
  21. I keep misreading this as 'forum cremation requests' and thinking, come on, they're not so bad. except maybe Historic Themes, after all the whining over Nexo Knights, please go right ahead
  22. I picked up a pair of these weird aquazone pieces from bricklink on a whim, and for a long time couldn't figure out what to do with them. Eventually figured out how to give them just-articulated-enough arms, and here we are. Classic Space with guns, lots of guns! I've been building on a CS theme with fleshy heads and lots of yellow, a grimdark alternate universe where evil aliens were met, there's a galactic space war, and nobody got around to inventing blue. Dark blue, medium azure, maersk blue, medium blue, light blue, and Lego's other 25,917,812 shades of blue are allowed however. Here's a starfighter. Did somebody say something about Anakin's interceptor, set 75038? I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Moving right along This one actually is original, I liked it so much I built a model stand. I'll keep it around for a while. It's supposed to be some kind of multirole fighter, designed to function in alien atmospheres or vacuum. And I named it the Ash Wasp because ...I have no idea I'm not good with naming things. Those guns are absolutely necessary for proper swooshing balance!
  23. I'm impressed by, not sure what to call it, the balance of tiles and visible studs. The hull looks very sleek, but still greebly and complicated. Beautiful job.
  24. VERY nice. Great greebling and details. What is that one little 1x1 donut-shaped round piece? the One Ring, in LBG?
  25. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117496 I really like this idea, will be building something like it eventually. Maybe in the Nexo Knights theme.
