  1. 6883 was my second Lego set, here's a brickset link for anyone curious, and I remember really hating it. Which was okay; it was my first 'picking this just for the parts' choice. Recently I felt like revisiting the idea, just making a big eight-wheeled articulated cargo vehicle, so here it is. It started with that big hinge assembly, I had it laying around for a few weeks before I figured out what to do with it. Suspension was next, lots of articulation for rock crawling. There's a little drone for scouting the terrain ahead, some accessories for the pilot, and the back section is mostly a big cargo container. This one holds a little quad vehicle and the white satellite thing from the original 1987 set.
  2. Good question. I'm guessing the round bits are frying pans and the tree is mostly built from these.
  3. I don't build cars very often anymore, but Murdoch17's build here inspired me. I mostly wanted to play with the combination of those fenders, the tall almost-1x1 curve piece with 1x4 tile, and wider wheels. I was aiming for something like a a muscle car with all the aerodynamic sleekness of an old Volvo. So here's the basic version. Another view, a slightly lower alternate version, and a convertible. I've already started scavenging spaceship parts from it, starting with the roof. Shortest-lived MOC ever! RIP in pieces, little car!
  4. Looks like bright light orange, to me. Compare with the curved bit behind the hot rod engine, which looks yellow.
  5. The only one I've kept as is, recently, is the exosuit set box. Everything else gets either recycled or cut in half to serve as a parts/sorting tray.
  6. Nice job. Symmetry's totally overrated.
  7. Looks chunky, heavy. I like it. I wonder whether it'd look better with wider wheels though.
  8. I see some guy had his arm ripped off handling the trailer, so they just painted it gray to match. Man, construction's dangerous work, and pretty heartless. Nice build, especially the truck.
  9. Really nice! The vegetation under glass domes is a great touch. (by the way, that Ice Planet battle tank link doesn't work)
  10. The background looks great. Excellent greebling, and the wall controls are well done; I need to pick up some of those 1x1s with dials on them. The display also looks really nice. But they don't really seem to match each other.. looks like a functional, working space, not really the place to put a commemorative statue. Ah well, still awesome.
  11. These are AWESOME. I especially love the An-225. I keep thinking though... that shuttle needs a smaller plane on top. And that plane needs a smaller plane on top. And that plane needs a little radio-control plane mounted on it. Make this happen!
  12. Guns! But I'm poor lately. Latest acquisition is a Webley revolver, quite a while ago now.
  13. Nice build. The building's cool, and I really like the two-person shuttle. Divided on the helmets though. They LOOK pretty cool. But they extend quite far in front, makes me think of these guys bumping into stuff.
  14. Nice limo, I like it! The other cars also, especially gray sedan in the last photo.
  15. Some great designs here. That four-engined starfighter is my favorite.
  16. Okay, these are pretty awesome. And the music in the Hobson coupling video is annoyingly familiar, can I ask where it's from?
  17. That's hilarious, he only went back to the beginning of October.
  18. That boy has amazingly low standards for 'worst youtuber ever.' :D No, you don't owe him anything. Reading this I'm just kind of amazed, who's he think he is? looks at somebody else's toys and demands I WANT THAT like a six year old? Let him build his own, isn't that half the fun of Lego? That is an interesting thought, though. Maybe you could film the disassembly, reverse it, and use that for 'instructions?'
  19. Perfect colors for an X-Wing. NIce job on including a CS robot, too! I like the middle section, nice combination of the grille pieces and technic panels.
  20. Here's a pair of mechs. First up a dedicated combat unit, long range, flight capable. Armed with a sniper cannon on the right arm, missile launchers on the left and that thing on the right above the cockpit is supposed to be a small gun of some sort. Config.B swaps out the missiles and jetpack for more guns. Close-up view of the pilot's station. Next...it's a modified Exosuit set. I like the look of the original, all that greebling and cabling makes it look very industrial, not at all like a combat unit. Then evil aliens invaded and it had to be fitted with guns anyway. Or something. First up, a short-ranged palm-mounted plasma cannon! For street fighting. An articulated mount for a long rifle, and cutting claws. Forearm mounting points can take a variety of guns and missile launchers. Finally, there's the Sword of Happiness. Wow, my photos suck.. I couldn't get a shot of them together to look good at all.
  21. This is a general-purpose all-terrain walker developed for the mighty Blacktron forces. I'm actually kind of proud of the head/cockpit. Here's another look! Now with optional cupholder! It's a work in progress. I've got some ideas on what to put on its back...a cargo platform, artillery rockets, engines and wings... a holding cell for captured Space Police...
  22. I really like the town-and-spaceport idea.
  23. Nice design, both for the vehicle and minifig. I really like your use of the gears and hinge pieces. But..why no seat for the pilot?
  24. And now I have that stuck in my head. Not complaining! And the mech is impressively enormous. It took me a moment to get a good idea of the scale. VERY nice job.
