There can not possibly still be an embargo if this is up on the official site! What's going on with Krennics shuttle - everything folds! -

Kaytoo is just outstanding! I love the variety of rebel helmets. And the variety of imperial helmets. In fact I just love them all! This is the best wave of minifigures in a long time. I really hope we see some of these molds used again soon - can't wait for the battle packs. I read somewhere that there's also a hairpiece with Jyn - like Rey in the speeder set. Can anyone confirm this? If so, which style? -

I've had a little Google and there are some movies photos of tie pilots with the silver markings. There are some mentions that these are Vader's wingmen... Potential spoilers? -

Has anyone seen the new picture of the tank trooper, ground crew and tie pilot knocking about? If so, am I correct in thinking that's printing, not shine on the helmet? If it's printing, is that the UCS helmet? -

I thought it was supposed to be E-3PO to tie in with the Bespin guard. -

Does anyone actually live near that store where the photos of the Death Star build were snapped. I'd love to see how she's getting on with the build! -

This got discussed a few pages back - consensus is that the officer may be General Trech Molock. He's present in the conference room scene and appears to be wearing a lighter grey uniform. Although I can't tell from the minifigure image the colour of his rank insignia, the single bar would indicate the correct rank too. That said, I don't know why he's wearing a hat, but I'll swap that for a hairpiece and put the hat to good use elsewhere. I'm hoping this new set will inspire a new generation of MODers to make changes to the interior. I for one intend to lose the droid repair bay and the throne room and use them to redesign other areas from ANH or maybe RO. -

He even had a 3 3/4 action figure released using that image on the card. I don't think there's any argument that it's him. -

Just thought I pass on an observation... It's amazing how many MSIB 10185 Death Stars have suddenly popped up on eBay this week. It's almost as if people are trying to get rid of them... -

Just saw the pictures too - something feels not quite right about the printing. The torso printing seems to stop abruptly at the hips, even cutting sone of those cylinders in half. I would like to have seen the printing carry over the hips. Still looking forward to getting them though! -

That'd look great - you could use them for Vader too! I'm actually just watching ANH and I can see myself wanting to get hold of a load of the storm trooper officers - "Holding her is dangerous", "Where are you taking this... Thing?", they crop up all over the place! -

I love this. Little Easter eggs like the AT-ACT getting hit in the face really capture the mood. Also love the build on the bunker - would fit in to loads of different situations. Ps. This has inspired me to get straight onto bricklink and fill my basket with palm tree pieces and leaves! -

I'm never ever going to manage this myself, but I love seeing other people's stories of how they tackle the task - it looks great! -

I'm hoping the microfighter will feature one too. Firestar used to sell the Crewman from the ISD quite cheaply. I bought a load and gave all my imperial officers the grey hats and got new black hats for the crew, also from Firestar. They seem to have dried up a bit now though, even on bricklink.Hopefully we'll see some more officers in location-based sets after xmas. Also, the BTS footage showed officers in trench coats- would love a couple of them! -
Anyone have any suggests for a head and hairpiece for an Admiral Sloane?

There was an A-wing in some photos of some British Princes visiting the Episode VIII set, but I haven't seen any in RO photos. -
The UCS Hype. What will 2017 bring? (40th Anniversary)
Richpepperell replied to Major_Ton's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I see there's a new tiny Tantive in the advent calendar this year - I don't know how it compares to any previous ISDs though. I'd love a combo set too - ideally with the Tantive from the planet series and an appropriately scaled ISD! -

Richpepperell replied to Major_Ton's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm really hoping for a Tantive IV - either system or UCS scale. I know the Falcon is more iconic, but the Blockade Runner is the very first thing we see in the movie. It could feature some great minifigures (Leia, Vader, R2 and 3PO, Capt Antilles, Troopers from both sides) and would be a great display ship. -

With regard to comments about dual molded legs on the imperial officer minifigures. I've just been watching ANH and obviously paying particular attention to the Death Star scenes. I noticed (particularly in the scene where the lads are catching the turbo lift) that none of the imperial officers in the traditional olive-grey uniforms are wearing the long black boots - they all have trouser visible right down to the ground. This is the scene it's most obvious in due to the high camera angle. In the same scene, black-uniformed stormtrooper officers clearly are wearing the knee-length boots as you can see the shine on them. My point is (I do actually have one) that maybe dual molded legs aren't appropriate for all officers as many of us think. That said, other than Tarkin, who should have boots (or maybe slippers ), we're not actually getting of this coloured officer, so I don't know why I'm going on about it! These look fantastic - where can I see more of your shots? With regard to the height of the system-scale falcon, I've extended the landing gear substantially (I can't say how much by exactly as I'm not at home to measure it - maybe by 2 bricks or even more) and it doesn't look at all out of proportion. I've also bulked up the landing gear so maybe that helps.Anyway - love the pictures! -

Found image in the end - is the head on the light grey imperial officer the same as the one from the officer from the star destroyer? Easy to swap I know but would be nice to get something different - nobody wants 2 Basts! -

Can't find back-of-box pics anywhere! Should have woken up earlier as maybe they're gone again. At least people are sounding a bit more positive now!
