  1. Seems appropriate for here - 75151 CTT only £76 in Tesco http://www.tesco.com/direct/lego-star-wars-clone-turbo-tank-75151/240-2642.prd?sc_cmp=aff*nt*gmo*Gratisfaction+UK_2386618&utm_medium=gmo&utm_source=tradedoubler&utm_campaign=aff*Gratisfaction+UK_2386618
  2. Speaking of new molds... I know these are only in-game minifigures, but how cool would it be if we actually got these!
  3. I'm glad this thread exists if for no other reason than the tags it has!
  4. I'm off to Star Wats Celebration Europe soon - really hoping it might make an appearance there!
  5. ^ it's the £10 extra that sways my vote to be honest.
  6. Cool - that's the vibe I was going for. Next up, the Reek!
  7. Evening all, I thought I post this just in case anyone has missed it - this months Lego Star Wars magazine comes with a small (49 piece) build of the Acklay arena monster as seen in AOTC. As well as being a fun little build, their are some pretty useful pieces in dark and sand green - very useful if anyone has a Slave 1 MOC on the go. Nice as it is, I immediately thought of one way to improve it and reached for my Mixels parts pot... 2 eyes and a ball joint later... This gave me the idea to recreate all three of the monsters - the Acklay, the Rhino-like Reek and the feline Nexu in this style! I'd love to see other people's Mixel arena beasts too! Disclaimer: Obviously this is just a bit of 5 minute fun - I won't be submitting it to Lego Ideas any time soon!
  8. Oops, my bad! I hadn't skimmed back far enough.
  9. I know they're not very popular, but are there any dual-molded tan/black legs that would be good for the rebels style imperials?
  10. The new A-wing/TIE advance set has Sabine and the female A-Wing pilot.
  11. That's cool - the only thing I'm interested in at present though is Dengar's speeder bike. Be interesting to see what pieces are needed as I'm guessing I won't have all the dark tan.
  12. I might be on my own here, but I really wouldn't mind if we didn't get a spherical set at all. I really fancy the idea of a dome-shaped set with a greater diameter to the last set which would give plenty of room for different areas (cell block, meeting room, hanger etc). I felt the lower portions of the last set were a bit cramped and there was wasted space right at the bottom.
  13. I'm just super-pleased that the designers seem to resisted the temptation to stick a 6-shooter stud launcher on the chin of the at-st. I've have bet money that was going to happen.
  14. Found them again already! I picked up the A-wing/TIE advance set today, but I'm now thinking that's it for the summer wave... I'll be saving for all of these! On the plus side, the Lego Store in Cardiff gave me a free FO Stormtrooper polybag which I didn't pick up on May 4th. The orange cargo container on the back of the hovertank was quite prominent in some of the leaked production photos (here too) on sets - maybe they're an important McGuffin if they're included in this set. All the figures looks great to me - maybe the Jyn minififgure could come with both the hat (which looks fantastic) and a hair piece, just like Rey in the Speeder set.
  15. I don't believe it! Just checked out the images on my phone, turned on laptop for a bigger look and they'd already gone! Gutted!
  16. I've been ignoring the ongoing price debate until now, but after seeing Poes X-Wing and the Resistance X-Wing next to each other on S@H with a £10 difference in price, it really brings it home that we're being ripped off. It's the same build just with different colours, same number of minifigures, both with an additional little side build. It makes zero sense, and for the first time in a long while, I won't be rushing to pick up sets in the day of release - role in £20 discounts on Amazon.
  17. Summer sets are showing on the uk site as mentioned above, but not the Ashoka set - does this have a different release date? Exclusive sets are usually available from S@H and brand stores aren't they?
  18. Looking at this image, I've never noticed the large orange containers that seem to be slung on the underside of the shuttle - Could these be the same large orange sections that make up the middle of the AT-ACTs? Would be so cool if these were troop carrying pods that could be swapped between the shuttle set and an AT-ACT set!
  19. Try bricks and pieces - they were really cheap - I've still got a big bag of spares after re-fitting 20 snowtroopers.
  20. Here we go - I don't think I'm the first person to do this. Solrry about photos, they were just quickies!
  21. I updated all my old snowtroopers using these (keeping the grey hips) and they look great. Best of all, the AT-DP driver legs are dead cheap on bricks and pieces.
  22. I love this pilot, but my worry is I'll never get hold of him! So far this year I've failed to obtain polybags of stormtrooper Finn, the Maybthe 4th stormtrooper and the first order general. I know I could of grabbed a May the 4th stormie, but I've never even heard of anywhere in the UK to get the first order general. I just hope the A wing pilot doesn't prove to be equally elusive. It's a good job I've got some TC-4 and Red Arm 3POs to trade!
  23. That's looking great, will definitely try and grab a few of these. Lack of leg print is a shame, but not surprising as its a 'Rebels' minifigure which tend to be a bit plainer. Can't wait to find out where he'll be available from.
  24. 2nd August in the UK Lego Star Wars: Build Your Own Adventure https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1465450459/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_gPHrxbCRZ7FQ9 Can't wait for a look at the new A wing pilot. I'd love to see a non-human - maybe L'ulo from the Poe Dameron comic.
