  1. The rebel pilot we know is included is not shown in the set image - I think it's just a mistake. It's now really clear how the u-wing wings rotate - just simple hinges and then click into place with a ball joint. I was hoping for some sort of geared mechanism, but hopefully this will mean the space is devoted to interior for the ship. Also, the box art for the shuttle shows X-wings and TIE fighters dog-fighting in the back ground - possible spoilers? The AT-ST also looks flat better in the set photo than in the box art - this could be a case of the entire wave getting bought on the day of release... I love these sets!
  2. You're totally right! That seals it for me, I'll be expecting the E.T. Minifigure to appear in the next Lego Star Wars Visual Dictionary.
  3. So with a direct exchange rate that'd be around £380 in the UK. Are we expecting it to be over £400 in the UK (I really hope not or I need to get some serious eBay action on the go!)
  4. This is a bit of a daft question but I was just wondering... With the release of the Lego Dimensions E.T. Pack in September, should we class the E.T. Minifigure as a Star Wars minifigure due to the inclusion of "E.T.s" in TPM? What do people think?
  5. Five favourites but in no particular order are: - Bith (especially when you get a whole band together) - Oola - Stormtrooper (newest, non-rebels version) - Any imperial officer with new style hat - Han Solo with new hair (this might not count as its not released yet, but I love the look of it and you know, Han). I've just read this entire thread from the start - it's a brilliant look at the evolution of Star Wars minifigures!
  6. Thanks for this detailed look - definitely a minifigure to pick up on bricklink for me. Jang has done a really useful video looking at the sabers and possible alternatives to make them more accurate - worth a look.
  7. Maybe a similar mechanism to 70721 Ninjago Kai Fighter? I know the angle of rotation is much greater, but it would still work, maybe with a dial to turn located on the top/bottom of the fighter, or even on the back. I think it'll be easily achievable. I really hope there is some mechanism and not just a do-it-by-hand job. Edit: after having a good old look at the image we have, there's definitely some technic business going on around the wings suggesting some sort of mechanism. Comparing the image to the computer model we've now seen, the 'wings' appear a little short on the set, but that's easily sorted. The yellow highlights on the set also don't seem to be present but maybe they'll appear in the film.
  8. I think this looks great, although obviously the quality of the photo is an issue for scrutinising the helmet in detail. One thing I'd like to see though is a nice molded pauldron, like the ones you see with ninjago. I think it would add some welcome bulk. With two new mini figures appearing today, I'm hoping we're in for more as the week goes on - can't wait for shoretroopers and tank troopers! As far as Baze goes, I've just been comparing the minifigure to a photo I took at SWCE, and the printing really does match amazingly with the real costume. The 1 red arm is a bit strange though!
  9. The hairpiece was my only issue too - but I guess you're right about the backpack. Can't wait to see the other mini figures... Especially Bistan and Pao!
  10. Great review. This minifigure would have been perfect for me if they'd just gone with dual-molded arms - orange top/grey bottom. Dual-moulding seems to be cropping up everywhere know... Apart from Star Wars! Would Iovd to see your review of the whole set Darthtwoshedsjackson.
  11. If this is the level of attention to detail the rest of the DS minfigures have, I can't wait. That hair looks perfect - only problem is, now the carbonate piece won't match the real minifigure! Hopefully this is the opening of the DS floodgates - roll on more images!
  12. Without trying to sound too nerdy, Fett from ESB and Fett from ROTJ do have a lot of differences: colour of gauntlet, colour of jumpsuit, different gun and jet pack. However, I don't think a lot of these differences would be apparent in the minifigure - especially if we don't get arm printing. I'm happy with the Carbon Freezing Fett from last year - I'd much prefer to see more skiff guards than Boba again.
  13. Thanks, that's good news - I figured it would be that price. Your right about therms builders too - Hoth Rebel, Bespin Guard, Stormie, snow trooper, even the battle droid... It's all good!
  14. Of course! Cheers, I'd totally forgotten about this and didn't realise it had been released. Will pick it up when I see on cheap in sainsburys!
  15. which magazine is this? The official Lego Star Wars one? Which issue are you on currently - our next issue in the uk will feature Yoda's hut, followed by an AT AT in the next issue. Are you a further issue ahead of us in Holland?
  16. or buy three calendars and have them all at once!
  17. My thoughts exactly. I hope we're not getting hyped over nothing!
  18. Looks to me like he has the blond beard we got with one of the rebel commandos in the tydirium shuttle (who Dave Filoni states is actually Captain Rex!).
  19. Great selection of minifigures and mini builds. Is the Star Wars price correct though - it's almost twice the city and friends sets.
  20. Just checked back on page one and saw all the minifig info. Where did all of this come from - I haven't seen it anywhere else. Are these actually based on genuine info?
  21. Just spotted the combat frigate in toys r us (along with the UCS Hoth) for the bargain price of £119.99! I thought it was a £99.99 job. Suffice to say, it's still on the shelf.
  22. I'm actually all up for a hemisphere - something like the old Kenner play set here http://www.toyark.com/star-wars-kenner-toltoys-death-star-playset-3403/ I think the old death star had some wasted space towards the bottom. I'd rather have a bigger hemisphere over a smaller full sphere.
  23. I love the idea of combining a wave of battle packs into something more substantial. My son collects bionicle sets which often feature an online set of instructions for putting 2 or 3 sets together. I really hope TLG check this thread out!
  24. The Exeter express and echo has started its annual summer Lego give-away this week, starting with the above mentioned polybag. You'll need to collect the voucher from today's paper along with the voucher on Thursday, then take it into Thomas Moore to pick up your polybag. You also get entered into a draw to win a "£100 Star Wars Lego spaceship". They do a free give away every week over the summer all from different themes.
