LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Richpepperell replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That's great if it actually is Molock, although from the photos I've seen I'm unable to make out any rank insignia. All the other members of the council can be suitably MOCed and with him as a minifigure along with Yularen, we now have the full set. I'm not sure what his lighter coloured uniform indicates, but I think he was supposed to be retired? -
[MOC] Rogue One - "secret room scene" (IDSMO-R3)

Is there anywhere we can see all the entries for the MOC olympics? If the others are half as good as this, it must be a sight to behold! -

I think it's on the front of the box, directly above the dish in the same room as R2 and 3PO. -

Could anyone who owns 10188 give me a rough measurement of the circumference around the centre point. I'm starting to plan some mods for the new Death Star already! -

Those were exactly my thoughts. It was mostly grey and now it's mostly grey, but somehow it seems duller to me. -

It's Yoda's star fighter, not his hut. Reports say minifigures will be Yoda and R2 only. Personally, I'm pleased by the lack of a Bespin Luke or Lando in these sets as it could mean they're coming later in the year in a cloud city set. In last years advent calendar we got the newer version of the hoth rebel preceding the UCS Hoth. I'm hoping the inclusion of a Bespin Guard signals an upcoming Bespin set. -

After watching that video, I'd be fairly certain the Brick Show guys don't know anymore than the rest of us! -

Sorry, what I meant to say is that there has never been an official release in the UK but you can buy it on import through Amazon (your link is actually for the Australian imported version). Thanks for the link though! -

Amazingly, the Lost Missions have still not been released in the UK (although they were on demand on Sky). All four episodes of the Yoda arc (the only episodes that feature his star fighter) are amazing - would love a set of the final duel in the last episode! -

Sounds like it's going to be a game of spot-the-difference! I particularly liked the "random cheese slope" - I wonder if that'll get highlighted in the set description? I'll be buying it anyway! -

There is actually an RA-7 protocol droid seen on the Death Star during ANH - sorry on phone so can't embed https://goo.gl/images/Nwa04l Note his colouring. -

Well, an updated 10188 sounds sweet to me. I could never afford to buy it for years. Just when I got in a position to get it, there was that cryptic comment about the updated version and I've been waiting for it ever since. I know and updated version might seem a let down to those who have 10188, but for those who haven't, updated minifigures, improved building techniques and newer bricks all going into that classic design sounds fantastic. I cannot wait to see the first images (I feel like I'm checking this thread at least once every 15 mins at the moment!) -

I think there's plenty of potential for location sets, and I'd love to see them! Yavin IV, streets of Jedha, Imperial bunker on Scarif, Saw's hideout - obviously there's also loads we haven't even seen from the trailer. My perfect wVe would be one vehicle, two location sets, the battlepacks plus a couple of nice extra mini figures from the microfighters. -

Apparently between 7-9 PST, which for me in the UK is between 3-5 tomorrow morning - still deciding if I should set an alarm or trust in the force to wake me at the right time -

Surely today would be a brilliant day to unveil the DS to tie in with the Rogue One trailer in the morning? Let's see it! -

Now is pure speculation but... It's not out of the question that the new Death Star will include material (areas/scenes etc) from RO - the teasers this week have proved the interior will feature in the film. This would suggest to me that there would possibly be RO minifigures included for these scenes. If this is so, would that not mean these minifigures would be released mid-sept, ahead of the force Friday date for all other RO products. I really hope the new DS does include RO stuff as I think the film is going to give me plenty of scenes I want to recreate! -

I agree with this. I also think that a vast majority of the Rebels audience have very little understanding/history with Thrawn like we as adults do. To them he's just the new bad guy - my nine year old asked me "does he use a light sabre?" - that's what's important to them. We do often get main/important/desirable characters in smaller sets, I just think people forget that sometimes when a character is included exclusively in a larger set. -

Personally I'm pleased they didn't go down that road. The movie will obviously feature OT ships etc, but after 2 X-wing sets (or 3 if you include the micro fighter), I think people might have a taste for something different. My fav TFA set is still the FO transporter, just because it was something unique. -

The top of the printed windscreen section is attached by a 2x4 black tile with clip - I'm guessing it folds up using this. -

Is there any confirmed source for this info, or is it jus someone's wish list? I'm sure we'll get some OT stormies in the RO 2017 sets, but I'd like to get some more of those sweet Shoretroopers in a battlepack! -

for once these prices don't actually seem ridiculous to me. The hover tank should be sitting at £29.99 ( from the size and number of mini figures, not piece count) but everything else seems pretty good. The larger sets in particular strike me as being below TFA prices. Also,Constraction figure images are up at hothbricks http://www.hothbricks.com/2016/08/lego-star-wars-rogue-one-visuels-officiels-disponibles/
