  1. Thank you.. hehe, a clown-car of the Medieval times? Thanks! Thanks! I appreciate that, that definitely was the most challenging part. I will be sure to remember details like that, thank you. Thanks!
  2. Thought that I would let you guys that I got my first MOC here in GOH completed. Feel free to check it out! http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=121982#entry2477737
  3. Hey everyone After settling in the furthest west of Avalonia, these three set up a small house close to the cliff edge. The Avalonian colors fly near the entrance of the house (And as decoration at the bottom). Still new to the land, they take their time exploring different locations and plan to expand their settlement here. As always, all feedback is welcome! A closer look at the landscape and front of the building. Looking forward to posting more here in Guilds of Historica. Thanks all for your time! ~Pat
  4. The set looks great, not too sure about the price..
  5. Thank you.. After installing Illustrator, I was really surprised to see how big of a difference it can really make! Hope to see you around in GOH! Thanks! Thank you! Man, my second error here, two islands not one.. got it! Thank you for the positive feedback
  6. What you're going to want to do is to save/download your photos. Then go to an upload website, like imgur, upload them, open the photo(s) in a new tab (By right clicking) and then copying the URL of the photo. Next, go back to Eurobrick and look for the Square with green when typing/writing. . Click it, and put the URL that you copied from the photo (from the new tab!) in and it should pop up as a picture. If you need some more help, feel free to ask here. The build looks great, well done!
  7. That works too, thanks again! Thank you... ironic that I built it during the winter
  8. Thank you for the welcomes, I really look forward to building in this guild.
  9. Thank you for the warm welcomes.. if still available, I will claim a small piece of land furthest west and call it "Occidens". Also, is there something that I should get working on? Something that Avalonia could use? Thank you again
  10. Thanks for the advice! Link is in my signature. Yes, my mistake on that... the rower should be facing the other way in order to be "making their way onto the island". Thank you for the feedback!
  11. Hey everyone After some time reading about GOH, I decided to introduce myself here in Avalonia. These two adventurers keep it quiet among themselves and avoid violence unless necessary. They try to maintain peace between others and focus on acquiring knowledge rather than power. They spend most their time in the library and the archives. Not much else to say about them... I really look forward to building with you guys here in Avalonia and hope to build the best I can, going out of my usual building styles. Also, do I "select" a piece of land on the map? If so, let me know and I can highlight/circle a small area. Fairly new here, so please excuse any questions I may have Thanks all, ~Pat
  12. Thanks all for the warm welcomes... Now looking at it, I suppose I would be better off in Avalonia since my style is more based around it. When I get back later on today, I will be sure to read up more on Avalonia and GOH as a whole in the forums. Thanks again!
  13. Hello all, I was introduced by a few people to GOH and thought that I would take a look. I really find all the different guilds, locations and MOCs here really amazing. I have a quick question about this... would it be alright if I stick to "interior" builds, or must they be (example) a full out trading market. I'm not too experienced with building larger scenes and exteriors of buildings, but, I'm really looking into it. I've been playing around with older looking interiors, creating libraries or an explorers room that has aged, etc. Slowly, I'm beginning to make MOCs that are increasing in size, hopefully to a point where I can create both an exterior and an interior to a building/structure. Because of my most recent build, I have plenty of sand pieces to use and thought that Kaliphlin would be the best location to choose. Please let me know whenever you guys can. Apologies for the "nooby" question and hope to join you guys! ~Pat
  14. I really like that idea of adding rocks and smaller pieces, I'm sure that it would definitely improve the scene. I'm not too sure what BoBS or GoH is (thinking it is a "building group" online)? I actually just posted the first photo on Flickr (TheLuckyCanadian), though, I'm not too experienced with it but really looking into posting more there. Thanks for the tips and suggestions! Thank you!
  15. Thank you, and I'm quite curious about what BoBS is! Thank you very much! Thanks! Thank you...No name or date given... I guess that can rest in the viewers imagination!
  16. Hey everyone It's been some time since my last upload here on EuroBrick. I finished this project around December, but only got around to taking pictures this week. This time, I decided to build an island that has never been explored, until now. As always, any feedback (both positive and negative) that are constructive are welcome. The Island build itself (Without the explorers). A closer look at the beach. The 2 bravest explorers make their way onto the island (1). The 2 bravest explorers make their way onto the island (2). Please excuse the sloppy masking, just installed Illustrator last night and I'm still getting used to it. Thanks for your time, ~Pat
  17. I really like the stone work, well done!
  18. Here is my entry A cozy room on Christmas Eve. Thank you for holding the raffle!
  19. Thanks! Thank you!
  20. I too would have liked to use some more darker shades. I unfortunately only had those ones, but nevertheless, I'm pretty satisfied at how it looks. Thank you very much! Thanks! The carpet definitely took way longer than I had planned hehe, but I think it was worth it. Thanks! Understood. I will be sure to try that out next time, thanks! Thank you! I'm very pleased at the look of the clock, thank you for the feedback.
  21. Hello everyone I recently finished off a 16 by 16 build. This one is similar to a previous moc, "The Travelers room", using some similar techniques for both the walls and the ships wheel hanging on the wall. Top view of the carpet The four pieces of furniture I made sure to include a mini-figure in this one, since my previous ones usually don't have any. Anything that you do or do not like about this moc? Feel free to share it with me. Thank you, Pat
  22. Well done to all builders, all of the mocs look amazing! Large H2 (Repel Boarders!) N1 (Ay!K-ARR) Small I2 (Tavern Brawl) B1 (Last MInutes) Digital B2 (That's not good enough!) E1 (Sharknado!)
  23. Thanks! My bad.. thank you for the correction! After reading the feedback, yes the gun port is too low.. I will be sure to not make that mistake again Thank you very much!
  24. Hello everyone I recently finished up a smaller build, a scene depicting 2 people trick-or-treating. Anything you do or don't like? Feel free to let me know! I am always looking to improve my building skills and techniques. Thank you, Pat.
  25. I love the different tombstone designs!
