  1. About the Juniors GG set; Spider-man does have his own hideout across the various iterations. Lego's version is colored and printed this way for brand recognition among the target end user, and the parts choice is about getting the most value out of a recently designed mold. (How many people are waiting for the part(s) those pinholes are intended for?) The yellow figure puzzles me, but as I won't be buying this one, it's really not an issue. Daredevil is not going to get sets, but I can't see MOCers not doing these. The most we could expect out of Lego (given the maturity of the show) is probably a polybag of a comic DD. I am not likely going to see AOU in the theater, so I don't care about spoilers. Most of the sets hold little interest for me. I had been interested in the Hydra Fortress for parts, but that was before I saw the price. Maybe I can get just the fortress section on Bricklink. Quicksilver would have been good for parting out as well, but I don't need him.. The USM sets and the Ant-Man one are my current wants. Carnage, Iron Spider, and Miles Morales are the only figs I want as is this year. The sets I have major parts usage for.
  2. This is a wonderful project, but I think you are wasting some detail in your current section. From the images it appears that once the second layer was built, there is no way to access the first layer and not enough light to be able to view the interior detail. The first layer corner section in particular doesn't seem to be viewable.
  3. The simplest way to get the arm and pickaxe into the position you want is to replace a few parts so that they do attach. Then you move them into position. Finally replace the attaching parts with the original parts.
  4. About LOTR in Dimensions; Lego likely still retains the license. Without major media back-up, a full theme of licensed sets doesn't make as much business sense. An in-house Castle theme would cost less, and could still appeal to Lego's core customer base. With the license's inclusion, LOTR/Hobbit fans (mostly teens and adults) that have been drawn in to becoming Lego fans will be attracted to this new gamng platform.
  5. For some reason the image isn't showing up, and when clicked on it registers as private.
  6. UoP DoH +1 Another great contender.
  7. Of course there is a drop in steel production, the Nestlands got invaded by Ulandians. The Clans' miners and smithies aren't likely return until all invaders are repelled. I actually like the masonry floor better than the wall.
  8. I am betting that the update will include a few pieces from sets designed for a movie that has yet to be released. I haven't been on the SW page, so I don't know if there are any images of The Force Awakens sets yet. Lego just released official images of the SW large figures, which include recently designed pieces. My current hope is that we will finally get the minidoll parts in LDD.
  9. Where in Florida? The Gainesville Target is usually pretty spotty about CMF stocking.
  10. I expected some good competition from you, and you didn't disappoint.
  11. Nice! Well in done with the limited footprint. The tree is perfectly reasonable for an elven settlement.
  12. The tanto is the weapon intended for this ritual. Lego doesn't make anything that could truly pass as a tanto. The rest of the scene is wonderfully done.
  13. Though I don't like story for game reasons, and UoP +1 on both claims.
  14. Ideas threads only get pinned if Lego goes for a full theme. Ghostbusters didn't get pinned.
  15. The DK is after more of the Nestlands! And I was planning a GA to get it back from the Ulandians. I guess I can make it against the DK and hold it in reserve.
