  1. Nice. Either way those Ulandians will be dead.
  2. I have a dark purple species of grass in my yard. Not sure of the name. As for that diary, that is something that would most likely be sold at department stores and bookstores in the US.
  3. The only logic for using the Gandalf head is if there is a shaving scene, ala Edward Norton in Rounders. Not gonna happen.
  4. A very important reason why the outpost was abandoned. The Ulandians should feel honored, as having your flesh fed to one of great birds is reserved for the mightiest of clansmen heroes. There are great honored dead littering that nest.
  5. Well done dense foliage and rock work. Those relief troops are still having trouble navigating the area. Most just seem to happen upon an enemy.
  6. Love the boar! Those Vesw Nol clansmen do love an ambush.
  7. Looking again, reflection yes, of the crowbar. It looked like some worm or centipede. The Shaggy torso reminds me of an actual scene where that happened in one of the shows. The skis and boat were a different color, but I think Scooby was driving the boat. These sets seem to be designed invoke nostalgia of the old shows, but avoid specificity so as to appeal to a larger swath of Scooby fans. The stories these sets depict are ones that have been recycled throughout most of the successive series. The larger sets have multiple villains that are modeled after or inspired by ones in the various series, but most have no direct connection with one another. There are so many types of villains from over the years that TLG could do this for quite some time to appeal to the adult fans, but with the new show debuting, and a movie on the horizon, I think following sets will be closer to Be Cool than anything else. Hopefully the show will do enough recycling to give us classic fans some version of our favorite villains. The recoloring of the vehicles is probably a two-fold reason: 1) Visual interest focus. The original shows had very bland colors used in any vehicle that wasn't the Mystery Machine. This helped when the focus was on the action of the characters, and not on what they are getting around in (often recklessly). The sets, on the other hand, require some eye-catching ability because of the box's static image. 2) Responsibility. The vehicles colored the same as the Mystery Machine will make them seem to kids as if they belong to the gang, even though in the original depiction they were borrowed (often without permission). The gang's antics in these vehicles never had any real consequences, but if the vehicles belong to the gang, they are not misusing someone else's property. Maybe in the new show the gang will actually own these, though I find that idea implausible. Cartoon logic.
  8. About the lighting: both have their uses. The more natural lighting is good for action and storytelling shots. It creates a level of mood that will help advance story, but it sacrifices some focus on detail. The flat lighting is perfect for giving details equal attention. This is great for showcasing technique. You have executed both really well.
  9. Yes, the Registration Act only makes sense if the X-Men mutant storylines were included in MCU. Without that there wouldn't be enough superpowered people to warrant the act itself, let alone a conflict over it.
  10. Ska is right, voting should be about the best entry (build and story). I ended up voting for DK to win on WZ2. About decisive victory, it should be that there is a minimum percentage difference between first and second. 10% or more at least.
  11. Future: Current: I will likely get the Carnage and Rhino/Sandman Spidey sets for parts. Ant-Man as well. I rarely keep sets as is for any length of time, and only build the sets to determine if anything about the build can be used for a MOC.
  12. Sarah Jane even had her own series, after she and K-9 made an appearance in the recent series.
  13. Is that printing on the 1x1 slope?
  14. Sorry, but G15 is the Nestlands Warzone.
  15. This must be somewhere northwest of the Nestlands, then; close to Qarkyr.
  16. I didn't bother with the last Dino theme because I had no use for the over abundance of yellow, but the dark bley and blue are very useful. It will all depend on my budget, and however long the theme lasts.
  17. UoP DoH +1 on both credits. Adira will be welcome in the Clans warriors camp. Sdair would suggest the teas made by Ffirk for a restful sleep.
  18. The general rule about editing entries is that changes can be made up till the deadline. After that the entry must stand as is. If you are able to get your finalized pics posted before the end date, you should be fine.
  19. Be Cool, Scooby-Doo begins airing this year. The upcoming Scooby-Doo movie is still 'in development' according to IMDb, and it has an animation tag though the rumor said live action. This may be the issue here. The currently known sets will most likely launch with the show, but movie sets (if they come) will probably be some ways out.
  20. Fair enough, but this is Warzone 3. And I doubt those were clansmen, as they are yellow, not fleshie. From the look of them, they are probably some of the guards for our trade partners that were in Cobalt Vale before the invasion.
  21. It is entirely possible that the hair in the image was created for an upcoming theme. There is a possibility that it could be for one older characters in Ant-Man. We have only seen one set for the movie so far, and that had substitute heads (also the helmets were on the wrong figs). The hair could have been designed for Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) or Howard Stark (John Slattery). This comes from no actual information, just speculation after looking at the Ant-Man IMDb page.
