  1. "The first Velocinoid, I'm sure I can get her with a Ravage, but if I don't and no-one targets she will have two free hits." Tarn shouted to the others, trying to analyse their best strategy. OOC: Yes, unfortunately I am on holiday from tomorrow morning and won't be able to check in every day, so Scorpiox is controlling Tarn til the end of the Quest. I have also agreed to buy Flare's Counterstrike Gloves from him for 60 gold at the end of the Quest. I have already told CJP how much I have enjoyed this Quest and it has been fun Questing with you all. Good luck against the Velocinoids!
  2. Tarn uses Helbaerend to attack the Velocinoid from the back row, twice. Bors does nothing.
  3. "I am sorry Heckz, I understand your frustration. I also do not like to just stand around and watch others fight, but I have learned that sometimes it is necessary." Tarn nods at Haldor and does not use his Grand Potion on him, instead he slots it into his Hollow Blade.
  4. "We should not all attack. There would be a chance that she would remain untouchable for longer. Benji can handle the beast, let us offer potions to those in need of healing." Tarn uses his Grand Potion on Haldor[/b] and offers his Potion to Jeaux.
  5. Fantastic review Rufus. I always love to see the comparisons with the source material and you did a great job with that here. My Lego spending this year is two-thirds less than it has been but I am sure I will pick this up as a display piece for my dining room.
  6. OOC: I don't think you added back the health to the Velocinoid after amending my Shield roll?
  7. OOC: the Raider Shield roll does not give 3 x Weapon Power. It's just Weapon Power plus level. And Tarn is in the back row. So it'd be 10+23=33/2(back row) = 16. 16x2(Double against Beasts)=32 and finally 32x2(encouraged)=64 damage. Tarn stands his ground against the sly beast and gives it a good slice with Helbaerend. Using the same weapon he attacks the Velocinoid again from the back row twice. Bors does nothing.
  8. OOC: Oopsie, I had forgotten. I have edited to say for both turns, attack from back row.
  9. "Come here, girl!" calls Tarn, hoping to get the Velocinoid to focus on the heroes rather than the workers. Like the others, he was worried that there was only one enemy in front of them. He holds Helbaerend tightly and for both turns attacks the Velocinoid from the back row, knowing he couldn't take many free hits from the front row against such a powerful creature. He gestures for Bors to hide somewhere. He admired the man's spirit but knew that he was at risk from being taken out by the Velocinoid regardless of being in the back row.
  10. Tarn followed Haldor and asked Alan, "How many workers are here on the island?"
  11. "Let us head to the source of the screams, if we are all in agreement," spoke Tarn.
  12. "We'll be OK, we can set Benji on them. He's meaner than any lizard!"
  13. Tarn glared at Jeaux but said nothing, instead nodding to Benji and saying, "Once our Quest is complete we can discuss the gloves further."
  14. Tarn stepped back and admired his handiwork as the Reptile dropped to the floor, unconscious from the hit he had dealt. "Just call me One Punch Tarn!" he smiled. " I think I may have to get me some of these gloves for future Quests, they are very useful." He accepted his spoils from Haldor. "Gratitude, Haldor. Now let us go finish this, and these fine chaps can then rest easy." Tarn took a Mead, Smelling Salts and Nostrum, and then signalled to the others than he was ready to head to the last area.
  15. Tarn cracks his knuckles and stands in the front row ready to punch a lizard man in the face. Such was the life of a hero.
  16. I really liked the Cars cars, would have loved to see one or two Planes sets in system.
  17. Tarn whispered back "Haldor has been chosen as the party leader, he should have our understanding and support. Even more so when he would have trouble swatting a fly."
  18. "Come on Haldor, give that scaly beast a proper whack!" encouraged Tarn. OOC: Move Tarn further down the order so he doesn't Counterstrike the Bird, as it's under 50 health now.
  19. "I suggest this as the Battle Order then, >Benji - Nothing (free hit by Reptile B) >Tarn - Potion on self (free hit by Bird, Counterstrike) Haldor - Attacking Reptile A >Tarn - Nothing >Jeaux - Nothing >Heckz - Nothing >Alan - Nothing >Bors - Nothing"
  20. OOC: the free hits happen in the order the enemy is listed. So if Tarn goes first he will Counterstrike Reptile B and we don't want that. If he goes second he will Counterstrike the Bird. Tarn spoke urgently to Haldor, "Put yourself first in the battle order, you will attack one Reptile and then receive the free hit from the other. If I am second then I can Counterstrike the remaining Bird."
  21. "We do not need to try to heal the creature, using a potion on it; that is folly! Simply put me second in the order so I only Counterstrike the Bird and not the second Reptile."
  22. Tarn was amped up on his cocktail of consumables and had to bite his tongue and breath deeply for fear of offending his party leader and siding with the Assassin. Ths was taking far too long, and the Shaman had not impressed him in singular combat. He growled under his breath and took a potion.
  23. OOC: I think we are all OK for this to be auto rolled
  24. Tarn grumbles in a low voice about "Stupid Nords not letting him fight", but does as Haldor asks and stands in the back row doing nothing
  25. OOC: They were both Stunned. That's why I suggested Tarn go in, with his chance at damaging all three. Plus Tarn can't Counterstrike too often without losing a lot of health.
