    Tarn could hardly wait. "Aye, let us head for the Cove. I am anxious to see these magnificent creatures." He considers taking some consumables before their next encounter, but notices Benji already has and decides to wait, for now.

    Tarn grinned at Alan. "Maybe I will sometime, you guys are a lot of fun." His grin froze when Bors outlined the Allenoid threat. "The size of buildings? They sound like they will be difficult to cage even if we subdue one."

    Guts Holla Guts is, more than anything, a do-er. Although he has been known to sit in the hall and talk theology, he prefers to be in the thick of the action. A hardy, fearless and resourceful hero, little is known about his past, and he keeps his private life just that, private. Very useful to have in a fight, Guts has been on many Quests for Heroica and has managed to acquire many artefacts to strike fear into the hearts of QMs his enemies. His relationship with the Elven Shaman Nerwen is perhaps the most striking thing about him. They have shared many adventures and have a begrudging respect for each other.

    "Once we are finished here I will be ready to go." huffed Tarn as he helped push the stubborn Rockling into the cage along with the other party members. "Tell us, Alan, Bors, what will we face at Allanoid Cove?"

    "The task will be made easier if I help," said Tarn agreeably. Tarn adds his strength to that of Alan and Bors, helping them cage the Orange Rockling. He thought of one of the Advanced Classes he could have chosen, that of Hunter, and he wondered if he could ever do a job similar to these two men. Both had taken big hits from the creatures they had faced, but both clearly loved the life that they led, and for Tarn, that was infectious.

    "Bors, do you and Alan need any help getting these Rocklings into cages?" asked Tarn. He was quite taken with the colourful foes.

    "If the Spitosaurs were any indication, one Counterstrike should put this little one low enough in health to capture it. I say we do that." Tarn does nothing from the front row whilst Bors does nothing from the back.

    OOC: if Alan took 21 damage, that would have knocked him out before Haldor healed him.

    OOC: Benji's Shield roll affects all enemies, so with the 1/6 chance to Assassinate, you should roll for each enemy that can be assassinated.

    OOC: the Stun of the Orange Rockling wore off when Tarn rolled Damage. No HP was lost as the enemy was Stunned, but after that one use, it goes.

    Tarn once again takes on the Orange Rockling from the front row with Lion's Heart. After Alan's success, Bors looks like he also wants a piece of the action so he attacks the Yellow Rockling from the back row.

    Can you engineer a Chef Yasmar vs. Nagure duel? Giant ogre/goblin with Tourette's versus the Yeti

    Flare, it's not like Benji actually kills things, he just steals gold whilst we all do the work anyway! I'm teasing, of course. I don't mind that we have a battle, but I thought we'd all be piling on the single Rockling.

    "I'll take our friend Mr Orange!" shouted Tarn, aiming Lion's Heart at the Orange Rockling from the front row. "Bors, you better not get involved, these things look pretty dangerous." OOC: Just to confirm, did we not explicitly say we would lead the Yellow and Blue Rocklings to a cage before? I thought we had, but if it wasn't bolded, then I understand.

    "We tried to do this as peacefully as possible. It's standing between us and our goal. Let's take it down and put it in a cage." Tarn said.

    Tarn looked across at Benji. "See if the Garnet embued in your Crossbow will work on the orange one."

    "Well, do we have an Aquamarine and an Emerald? Then we could lure them into cages peacefully. Just like I said at the start."

    I think Stunning Strike was taken from Quest#52 so it was in the era of stuns affecting the round they occurred. Probably I took it from one of my earlier Quests and didn't change the wording.

    Tarn mused, "Perhaps the colour of the gems compares with the colour of the Rockling? That yellow one liked the Topaz."

    Tarn couldn't help but have flashbacks to Dastan when he threw the Bomb XX which killed Constance. "I don't think we should be trying to blow up any more of these creatures."
