  1. Thanks for the comments. The serendipity of rummaging through my parts bin, picking out a cyclops and finding out it's already an existing species tickles me
  2. OK, here are a few ideas I had, would appreciate any feedback from you guys! Onibaba pilot - I like this one but he doesn't use the pilot torso and obviously can't have the helmet on Droid pilot - colours work but may just look like a mirrored visor or something rather than a robot Cyclops pilot - possibly my favourite due to the two different eye prints. Could get a lot out of that. Ewok pilot - Couldn't resist Works surprisingly well.
  3. Tarn hefts Lion's Heart once more and attacks Divine Physician from the front row, and then attacks the Life-taking Judge, again from the front row. Lee (using Light) attacks the Demon King of Chaos from the front row and then the Living King, again using Light from the front row. Opalix attacks God of Death, front row Garnetic attacks God of Death, front row Topazor attacks God of Death, front row Emeray attacks the God of Death, front row Rubio attacks the God of Death, front row Aquamarq attacks God of Death, front row Battle order: >Atramor (Pheles Rod) vs. Twin Tailed Scorpion Tesni (Mellt) vs Sacred Water Tesni (Mellt) vs Sacred Water Nagure (Hammer) vs.Rainbow Tiger Nagure (Hammer) vs.Rainbow Tiger Lee (Light) vs Demon King of Chaos Opalix vs. God of Death Garnetic vs. God of Death Topazor vs. God of Death Emeray vs. God of Death Rubio vs. God of Death Aquamarq vs. God of Death >Atramor (Conspirator) vs. Strategist Lee (Light) vs. Living King >Benji (Crossbow) vs Touching the Sky (front row if beast) >Benji (Crossbow) vs Conqueror (front row if beast) Tarn (Lion's Heart) vs. Divine Physician Tarn (Lion's Heart) vs. Life-taking Judge >Thalion (Darkness) vs.Pilgrim Knowing that strategy was especially important here, Tarn asked, "Do we want Tesni and Nagure to look for specific targets if they defeat their enemies in one hit?" OOC: Have fun Flare, we'll keep things going here!
  4. So is my title an acknowledgement that an Ewok would be OK? Seriously, I know you said we can be non-humanoid, but can we create new races? I have a few ideas (Atlantis sea creatures look quite SW-esque) but am happy to be Mon Calamari (or Ewok) rather than a non-SW face.
  5. My first title! I made it! Yub yub! - I suggested I might sign up as an Ewok pilot for the EB SW RPG Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka, referencing a prank pulled on Wedge Antilles of Rogue Squadron in the books. From the lloks of it the title must've been from Brickdoctor.
  6. Due to my love of the Rogue Squadron/Wraith Squadron books I'd like to sign up as a Rebel Pilot. I'm thinking of going non-human. Maybe an Ewok - Yub, yub!
  7. Tarn lashed out at as many bandits as he could reach. It felt good to let loose sometimes. He considered Atamr's words carefully. "They won't just fall, Atramor. It'll take a bit of time. But I do like the plan. Any way of reflecting the Judge's special without killing yourself?"
  8. Tarn thought he was still under the influence of Confusion when the slip appeared next to him in the midst of the battle against the remaining Stars of Destiny. Pausing to look at Atramor to see if it was OK, he quickly scrawled Tarn on the parchment. It vanished, allowing him to focus on taking down more bandits.
  9. That certainly hasn't been how I calculated it in my Quests, and it certainly would affect battle orders and strategies if it's handled in different ways. I'm all for QM descrecion, I guess this would be something you ask the QM about first.
  10. A short game set in the past that establishes events that happened is a fantastic way to build the lore and history of this RPG in a active way rather than a passive one. I can't wait.
  11. Tarn hefts Lion's Heart once more and attacks Third Brother from the front row, and then attacks the Tiger Slayer, again from the front row. Lee (using Light) attacks the God of Death from the front row and then the Living King, again using Light from the front row. Opalix attacks Twin-Tailed Scorpion, back row Garnetic attacks Rainbow Tiger, front row Topazor attacks Sacred Water, front row Emeray attacks the Knife-Wielding Demon, back row Rubio attacks the Strategist, back row Aquamarq attacks Yakshini, back row Battle order: >Benji vs Pilgrim >Thalion (Darkness) vs. Lonely Star Tesni (Faelan) vs Faceless Lee (Light) vs Living King Tarn (Lion's Heart) vs. Third Brother Tarn (Lion's Heart) vs. Tiger Slayer >Opalix vs. Twin Tailed Scorpion >Atramor (Pheles Rod) vs. Twin Tailed Scorpion >Benji uses Smelling salts on Tesni Tesni (Faelan) vs. Faceless OR if defeated, vs. Jade Flagbearer using Cysgodion Garnetic vs. Rainbow Tiger Topazor vs. Sacred Water Nagure (Hammer) vs. Fiery Eyed Lion Nagure (Hammer) vs. Fiery Eyed Lion OR if defeated, Rainbow Tiger Lee (Light) vs. God of Death >Atramor (Conspiritor) heals self >Emeray vs. Knife-Wielding Demon >Aquamarq vs. Yakshini >Rubio vs. Strategist
  12. Tarn was pleased that they had all got through a round without being confused at the end of it. Not being fuzzy-headed made a nice change. He listened to Atramor's plan of attack, nodding at his suggestions. " Can't see much wrong with that."
  13. "They have certainly proven their worth thus far," agreed Tarn. OOC: Pep hasn't posted in a few days, I think we are all agreed that the Neutraliser is the way to go.
  14. Even in the midst of battle Tarn manages to facepalm. "Of course! Apologies my friend, I am still fuzzy-headed!"
  15. Thanks Sandy, but I think it should be a consistent rule one way or the other.
  16. Tarn would love to go on another Quest involving Ella
  17. Tarn nodded, Atramor's reasoning was sound, especially seeing how powerful the specials they had triggered so far had been. He had another idea. "Also Tesni could take a Smelling Salts, but she'd have to be first and second in the order. What do you think?"
  18. Tarn uses a Smelling Salts on himself from the back row and then uses another Smelling Salts on Lee, again from the back row. Using Darkness from the back row, Lee attacks Conqueror and then the Tiger Slayer. Tarn turns to the giant Yeti. "Nagure, I know you feel sufficiently shielded, but would it not be wiser to attack from the back row this round?" Then back to the Witch: "Atramor, should the automata be attacking individuals rather than ganging up on targets? They won't put them down anyway, and it'll save us some free hits?" Rubio attacks the Twin-Tailed Scorpion, back row Opalix attacks the Twin-Tailed Scorpion, back row Garnetic attacks the Third Brother, back row Aquamarq attacks the Third Brother, back row Topazor attacks the Jade Flagbearer, back row Emeray attacks the Knife-Wielding Demon, back row Battle Order: >Tesni uses Neutralizer >Atramor takes Smelling Salts >Thalion (Sleeper) uses Potion on Tarn from Hollow Blade, then attacks Divine Physician >Benji takes Smelling Salts >Tarn takes Smelling Salts >Lee (Darkness) attacks Conqueror >Atramor (Conspirator) heals Tarn >Nagure takes Smelling Salts Nagure (Hammer) attacks Faceless >Tarn uses Smelling Salts on Lee >Lee (Darkness) attacks Tiger Slayer >Benji attacks Lonely Star >Garnetic attacks the Third Brother >Opalix attacks the Twin-Tailed Scorpion >Rubio attacks the Twin-Tailed Scorpion >Aquamarq attacks the Third Brother >Topazor attacks the Jade Flagbearer >Emeray attacks the Knife-Wielding Demon
  19. Tarn looks at Atramor. "I'm not sure I will survive two free hits without being healed first. So no pressure!"
  20. The battle is almost a blur to Tarn with so much going on. The final battle in Dastan was intense but with so many allies and enemies here means so much confusion. He thinks he sees Tesni smash up the automata that was Hastening them all and winces. We never even got a chance to fix it, he thought. Fuzzy-minded like before, he shouts to the others. "I think I Stunned a few of the Stars, we don't need to target them this round. Benji, can you Hasten yourself and Remedy someone?" OOC: Woah, absolute carnage!
  21. Tarn grimaced as Atramor fell. He knew the Witch had been confident of surviving the pile-on at the end of the round, but it had proven more difficult than he had anticipated. On the bright side, several of their foes were already vanquished. It didn't help that he felt very fuzzy-headed though. Tarn wielded Lion's Heart, with it's Stun ability and double damage against Humanoids, and attacked Divine Physician from the front row. Then he will attack the Life-taking Judge from the front row. Lee Long will use Phoenix Essence on Atramor from the back row. Lee will then attack the Tiger Slayer with Darkness from the front row. Garnetic will attack Rainbow Tiger from front row OR if defeated, Jade Flagbearer from back row Aquamarq will attack Rainbow Tiger from front row OR if defeated, Jade Flagbearer from back row Opalix will attack Twin-Tailed Scorpion, back row Sapphiraz wil attack Twin-Tailed Scorpion, back row Emeray will attack Sacred Water, front row Rubio will attack Pilgrim, front row Topazor will attack Pilgrim, front row Battle Order (subject to change) >Benji uses Remedy on Thalion >Thalion uses Remedy on Tarn >Thalion uses Remedy on Tesni >Tesni uses Remedy on Nagure >Lee uses Phoenix Essence on Atramor >Atramor (Conspirator) vs. Touching The Sky Nagure (Stone Hammer) vs. Fiery Eyed Lion Nagure (Stone Hammer) vs. Fiery Eyed Lion OR if defeated, Rainbow Tiger Benji vs. Lonely Star Tesni (Faelan) vs. Faceless Tarn (Lion's Heart) vs. Divine Physician Tarn (Lion's Heart) vs. Life-taking Judge Lee (Darkness) vs. Tiger Slayer Garnetic vs. Rainbow Tiger OR if defeated, Jade Flagbearer from back row Aquamarq vs. Rainbow Tiger OR if defeated, Jade Flagbearer from back row >Opalix vs. Twin-Tailed Scorpion >Sapphiraz vs. Twin-Tailed Scorpion >Atramor (Pheles Rod) vs. God of Death Emeray vs. Sacred Water Rubio vs. Pilgrim Topazor vs. Pilgrim
  22. OOC: Fair enough Sandy. Guys, if Atramor is gonna be taking on for the team each time using the Pheles Rod, then it's up to all of us to use conditional actions to make sure we aren't leaving too many free hits. Just keep that in mind. Also it's too late for me to put up actions and a battle order, I will have to do that tomorrow, apologies.
  23. OOC: We specified Tesni going for the Faceless on her second attack if Double Spears was down. That would mean Faceless didn't get a Free Hit
  24. Tarn was grateful when he heard Atramor barking orders. Although the aftermath of the Bomb XX in Dastan had been tragic, the tactical reasoning behind it had been sound, and he was happy to follow Atramor's suggestions. "Will you be OK using the Pheles Rod? With possibly nine or so enemies dealing free hits - it's a lot of damage to absorb." Tarn wielded Lion's Heart, with it's Stun ability and double damage against Humanoids, and attacked Sick Tiger from the front row. If he still stands, Tarn will repeat his attack, if the Sick Tiger is defeated, he will attack the Jade Flagbearer from the front row. Lee Long will use Darkness against Second short-lived brother from the front row. If he still stands, Lee will repeat his attack, if the Second brother is defeated, he will attack the Daredevil Third Brother from the front row. Rubio will attack Knife-Wielding Demon, back row Opalix will attack Living King, back row Topazor will attack Pilgrim, back row Emeray will attack Lonely Star, back row Sapphiraz will attack Yakshini, back row Garnetic will attack Rainbow Leopard, back row Aquamarq will attack Fiery-Eyed Lion, back row Battle Order (subject to change, suggestions from Pie in grey, I think we should all follow his lead) >Atramor (Conspirator) vs. Tigress Nagure (Stone Hammer) vs. Rainbow Tiger Nagure (Stone Hammer) vs. Rainbow Tiger Tesni (Faelan) vs. Double Spears Tesni (Faelan) vs. Double Spears OR if defeated, Faceless Tarn (Lion's Heart) vs. Sick Tiger Tarn (Lion's Heart) vs. Sick Tiger OR if defeated, Jade Flagbearer - Pie, happy to change if you want to minimise Free Hits from bigger fish Benji vs. Hundred Victories (front row if beast, back row if not) Benji vs. Hundred Victories OR if defeated, Tiger Slayer (front row if beast, back row if not) Lee (Darkness) vs. Short Lived Second Brother Lee (Darkness) vs. Short Lived Second Brother OR if defeated Daredevil Third Brother >Rubio vs. Knife Wielding Demon >Opalix vs. Living King >Topazor vs. Pilgrim >Emeray vs. Lonely Star >Sapphiraz vs. Yakshini >Garnetic vs. Rainbow Leopard >Aquamarq vs. Fiery Eyed Lion >Thalion (Sleeper) vs. God of Death >Thalion (Sleeper) vs. Divine Physician >Atramor (Pheles Rod) vs. Twin Tailed Scorpion OOC: Phew. I think that's everything/everyone. I know people like to choose targets but in a huge fight like this we must be all on the same page and I do think we should be following one overall strategy, especially if Atramor is willingly taking all the free hits. Pie, thank you so much for doing this, strategy is not one of my stronger points, at least, not in a battle this size with so many combatants. Let's hope we can whittle them down quickly.
