Mad Rhino - Rally Car
Victor Imaginator replied to zver's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nice burnouts) Can you post some pictures with suspension? -
A week ago i came to my kitchen for coffee and smoke, and start connecting lego pieces... as usual. But i don't stop after 5 minutes as usual, but sit there for a hour. I enjoyed the result and left it at the kitchen. After few days i found that everyone is attracted by it, they just came to kitchen, take this tiny excavator and start playing with it) Including my father) So, i decided to share this small MOC, and make an instructions. Maybe someone find it useful somehow. It's my first instructions, so any critics are welcome. Excavator can drive forvard and back, superstructure is rotating and arm with bucket may dig something if you wish. Instructions: http://www.mediafire...nstructions.pdf

Hmmm... Looks promising, i like small scale vehicles. But why so much conspiracy? -
Another idea for increasing torque Yellow #1 connector in the middle should be new 1L beam. Or regular 3L beam) Tan 5L axles is mounting points for claw mechanism.

Wow! Magical solution. Just incredible) Using worm gear instead of pulley will increase friction, but at cost of limited range of operation.

Maybe black in chassis will be allowed while it's not visible from outside? I don't know how to replace gear racks and tow ball links...

There is no need to use any rods or links. Vehicle steer when center is tilted. I'll try to make my own version few hours later) -

I was thinking of spider crawler some time ago, before i see this car in real) In my plans was using one motor for propulsion with differentials on the frame and using something like part #24 from picture. It's rubber o-ring from automatic transmission oil pump. Large enough and much less elastic than lego rubber bands for making complex wedge system with tensioners.
