  1. Bucket wheel excavator may be small or medium sized. Something like this, on small lego tracks. While ultimate ip car may be any sized. "Ultimate IP" it's just a name... like "Race Car" 42011 or "Monster Truck" 42005. If 2016 will be an year with remote controlled set - it may be Claas (same wheel base as 42030, but on crawler wheels and weird colored), and Volvo not as flagship, but with many of new pneumatics... Or Volvo will be a flagship - remote controlled and with pneumaticsm, while Claas will be medium sized nice looking tractor with HOG steering and other stuff. Just my thoughts)
  2. Left one, that with lime cabin and white roof - it looks so real. Pat-Ard, can you make a photo or two of this white-lime truck alone?
  3. First time that i participate in some contest, and i enjoyed it much. Congratulations to winners. Thanks, Jim)
  4. Excellent model. My 42009-C was much less appealing) How much unused parts left?
  5. It's so small and so tigtly packed with fun small solutions) Awesome model.
  6. BusterHaus, thanks for tips. I just forgot about white balance while shooting, my fault) I tryed to make any post process simple as possible - in this case this was Curves adjustments by three points - white, 50% gray and 25% gray, followed by adding magenta to reds. But all magenta/blue tones come from window daylight) I have very complex lighting setup, some kind of mess, yes)))
  7. Jeroen, you are right - it's lightsource. For previous photo i used energy saving warm lamp. With daylight same model looks much better in my opinion. And here is a clear difference between red and trans-orange parts. I have warm LED lamp, should try it too.
  8. Thanks for comments) @ImanolBB: Creators of Carmageddon was inspired by Mad Max too. @VFracingteam: I'm not Majhqa, surprised that my work looks that way) @erelender: A Carmageddon fan, that's why i make this MOC)
  9. Two monitors with various angles, one is near perfect calibrated... It must something with my eyes(
  10. I can't understand what is wrong with this red) It looks not real, like clamped somehow.
  11. Upper shot - is the original, lower - with heavy ajusted curves and color balance. While adjusting curves reveal many details of black parts, red stays like flat for me( I seen same effect before, when shooting some red flowers outdoor. It is possible that LEGO red is out of RGB space of my camera?
  12. Small and clever, i like this MOC. And using IR reciever as chair is fun, wires can be used as safety belt)
  13. Today, when i preparing photos for my last MOC i found that it's almost impossible to shoot model nice, when most parts are red. Parts looks almost flat. What i'm doing wrong?
  14. Most impressive display model that i ever seen... if you have a room for it) It's really outstanding, just because it's standing and not falling. Inscredible for this weight.
  15. I started with small remote controlled chassies and finished with this chibi version of Eagle (car from Carmageddon game, if somebody doesn't seen it). And it's my first remote controlled MOC, any critics are welcome) Features: - bold guy named Max Damage, - ackermann steering geometry, - PF XL motor RWD, - Servo motor for steering, - 15 studs width, 20 studs height, 32 studs length. What missed: - no suspension... who cares, it's extra super stiff suspension for maximum car rigidity ^^, - changing battery box will be a pain... but i never seen "Out of fuel" message while playing Carmageddon, so it's suitable, - few 1-point or illegal connections, i'm not proud of it. 16. Sad, i'm far away from bricks... But at least i have LDD and puzzles to solve)
  17. Great looking for all functions and tiny size. I like this MOC very much)
  18. Hmmm... LegoCube, you can try to achieve perfect angles with worm gear and horizontal placing of servo. But with additional gear reductions there will be too much backlash. And another weird idea - using chain with odd number of links will rotate one gear at half of the tooth.
  19. Not a solution, just an idea. Ball joint at pink arrow must be fixed to prevent sliding off the axle, grey 9L axle should be fixed to frame. Sliding U-shaped connector along the axle will adjust toe-in/out.
  20. Thanks. It wasn't clear at upper post, now i see) You can try to add diagonal links to negate toe-out.
  21. Nice sculpting. May you show how you achieve that camber on rear wheels?
  22. Yes, post few pictures from different angles. I like to build similar small scale thigs)
  23. I just completed my Volvo 2 days ago. I was very careful and check orientation of every 3L blue pin) And there's no mistake with these switches. But i have new style instructions in one large book. Maybe in old many-booklet instructions (if they exist for Volvo) there is a mistake...
