  1. I just make unusual for LEGO 5+R gearbox. More like real one - with 2 shafts. And neccesary for LEGO version small idler shafts. Here's all clutch gears meshing only with their corresponding idler gears. And it works without noticeable friction in both directions. Much better than usual compact version.
  2. Nice start. I like old cars and surely will follow this topic. As i understood in real car leaf springs used as upper arms. Hardly can be reproduced with lego, but nothing is impossible. Double wishbone at front is a good approximation as i think. I don't sure about rear suspension - there's something even more weird)
  3. I found one unexpected thing, just want to share. After using old style 2L red clutch, using new 3L DBG looks cooler. No more half-stud offsets, one click selection, not two... But i continued to use old clutch without any reason. Today i finally found why i'm doing this) Typical task for clutch gears. Old style parts doing this task slightly better. You can try it yourself. Why? Looks like new red clutch gear have smaller inner radius. Or 3L white axle connector with ridges longer than 3L. I dont have proper measurement tools, so i just can compare clutch gears with my eye. And it's really looks like red one have smaller hole - i'm affraid of being paranoic)
  4. Looks very close to original. Nice job) Buggy motors or quad pullback maybe will fit nicely this truck.
  5. Best way to learn how gearboxes work is build one from scratch.
  6. Like old photographers processed film for making real photo, new photographers should process RAW pictures to make real viewvable pictures. When camera makes JPEG for you - camera process same RAW on her own. Manual RAW processing is neccesary, because RAW contains much more information that any JPEG can hold and any display can show. Camera just can't choose what to keep and what to drop better than any photographer can do.
  7. Looking at photos it's not clear what exactly cause this. If axle is sliding out - using some axle with stop should help. If whole block of LBG gears and L-motors moving out - additional bracing should help.
  8. Is this what you call "tiny"?)))
  9. Very clean awesome model. I like simplicity of crane functions.
  10. Why? Axle hole at top, pin hole at bottom. Anyway - front bumper should be rigid, so there's another hidden something, that keep bumper in place at desired angle.
  11. Probably it's 1L pin + 2L axle, available in black only yet. TLG doesn't build symmetrical in small models most of the time.
  12. I like front wheel arches and nearby small yellow panels. Whole model looks so clean. Will be nice to see a video and suspension details.
  13. Your Steppenwolf beat my 550 easily) I followed your way to top of the list too)
  14. Wow! Who's here? Really i felt a little panic all this time in offline.
  15. Incredibly close to original. After looking on photos of real thing, first shot of LEGO model just doesn't look like LEGO)
  16. Agreed, but as i understand they will earn money with "purchase missing parts" button. At least they answer quckly and ready to make changes, add information e t.c.
  17. As they said - they just started, and not all working as intended. I just contacted them and ask to correct my own models. Also i asked them to mark paid instructions somehow. I think this e-mail: info@legko-shake.ru can be used for any suggestions if anyone have it.
  18. For most models author name is already there with link as it appears at Rebricable.com
  19. Hmmm... i don't understand what is the point then. Just found my Porsche there.
  20. As i understood - they not selling instructions. They selling ability to use their search engine. Also - there's no direct copyright violation. Clever bastards... sometimes i just hate to being one of that nation.
  21. Great simple idea. And i like how you make your videos)
  22. So... It's really massive. Also it looks great with all that black and red. Wheels adds more awesomeness. Lego2016Lego, great job)
  23. Clever using of differentials seems logical for me. Some kind of comparer of torque and speed. I've seen automatic 2-speed gearbox somewhere based on differentials.
  24. Great looking model. I like how you make caster in front suspension. And front looks just awesome)
