  1. Looks cool. I love engine details. Not a Porsche yet, but I will wait for final version, it should be nice MOC)
  2. Wow, it's really innovative) Very cool entry, seriously.
  3. Nice non-vehicle MOC. I just afraid about "Victor" brand)
  4. Looks like extreme drag racing tuning. So, it fit model somehow)
  5. Jonfensu, thanks) Yes, front looks a bit mess. But, as you said, it looks very technic. Leonardo da Bricki, thanks) I don't find better solution to hold white axles in that shape. Here's many compromises between looks, rigidity and cleaner building techniques. At least I learned a lot about scale models, while building)
  6. Didumos, thanks) I was thinked about your future reply this morning, while building)
  7. Thanks for your comments) TheMindGarage, yes, I needed to fit gearbox into very thin 3 studs high frame. You may find details in WIP topic. Also I moved 24-8 gears pair to rear axle, because Z24 gear was too low. And yes, I mean that scale 7 times smaller than real car)
  8. So, this is my entry. Porsche 550 Spyder. While 911 GT3 RS is latest racing car maked by Porsche, my dream Porsche - is first of racing Porsches. Features: - 7:1 scale; - front MacPherson suspension with all that kingpin inclination, Ackerman geometry and caster angle; - rear suspension is trailing arms, almost like original, but in my version here's no lateral torsion bar, just ordinary shock absorbers. At least it looks like original); - 4+N manual gearbox; - fake flat 4 engine with fan; - openable doors, hood and engine cover; - some interior details. Parts choice may look weird, it's all because i just don't have LBG panels. I have enough white panels, but not enough white beams for that scale. I messed up with proportions while building, but it's my first scale model... and it's hard to make car, that looks like real. Now i clearly understand it) Belly shot, if someone interested. All pictures are clickable for higher resolution. Link to WIP topic: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=137025 FLICKR album, there's a few more shots: https://flic.kr/s/aHskzstGF2 Thanks for reading, i hope you enjoy it somehow)
  9. I'll finish my Porsche entry first and take some rest after) Sure, I plan to fit this idea somewhere.
  10. I've done drum/piano gearbox some time ago, and it's capable of changing gears in ms. My version is too large, but simplier 2-4 speed based on same idea can work in motorised supercar. Here's the link: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=134615&hl=%2Bpiano+%2Bdrum
  11. I like these rear wheel arches) Also nice color. Rare for MOCs.
  12. Weirdest entry) I love the colors, i like how pneumatics works. And belly shot just awesome.
  13. Almost done. I hope that i'm not ran out of LBG beams)
  14. It's so awesome) I hope that instructions will be available somehow after all.
  15. Here's a WIP topic for my Spyder. 1:7.1 scale) http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=137025#entry2614058
  16. Shot over the planet is wonderful))) And i like these wheels, may i borrow this idea?
  17. Sariel, thanks for making great review. I think i'll pass this set. I still don't have any pneumatics, but 42008 looks more appealing for me. The only thing that i really like about Volvo EW160 - yellow rims + tires, one of my favorites)
  18. Efferman, this 1/4 of car looks already awesome. Waiting for updates)
  19. Looks evil) Nice idea, great implementation. About a term "half-track"... i think this thing can be named "longtitudal articulated tracked vehicle".
  20. Lacking of time and hot weather caused massive slowing of my building abilities. But, i finally finished chassies. 7:1 scale may look large enough to fit everything, but 550 Spyder is almost smallest Porsche, if not the smallest one. Was very hard to fit gearbox + chairs to very thin frame, while keeping frame robust enough. Gearbox is very simple 4+N, only difference from typical Lego gearboxes - i make it flat, not 2-layered. And put 24+8 pair near differential, because 24Z gear grinding my kitchen table when suspension is compressed) So, here's 2 drive shafts as it was before, in the beginning of building. And, part of the frame serves as part of chairs - even 1 stud higher makes chairs too massive for 500 Spyder. I think it's looking ok. And i managed to make front axle even studs wide, so it's almost perfectly sized now. Now only bodywork left, i don't sure that i will succeed, but i trying)
