They're going to be equipped with brown pauldrons, and either backpacks or ninja sword holders. They will also have red feathers on their hats. I decided on these legs because they're so much cheaper than brown legs. Hopefully it looks good... Thanks for your suggestions everyone!

BoBS CMF: Corrington Double Edition + Bonus Figure
Mesabi replied to Captain Dee's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Great Job @Captain Dee! I was skeptical when you mentioned that they all had "C"s in there name in the Corrington PM. But you did it! Each figure is unique and interesting. My favorite is the Cannon Founder. Keep up the good work!- 9 replies

Shipwrights Guild Hall (WIPs, feedback, and advice)
Mesabi replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I've been working on a new ship. All I can really do is build the Captain's cabin, while I wait for orders to arrive. BoBS teasers by North White, on Flickr BoBS teasers by North White, on Flickr Any thoughts? I need to do more detailing on the back for sure. -
Fantastic Ship @Bodi it really captures the look of a sailing ship from the age of sail. The detailing is fantastic, and while it draws from the Silent Mary, it still has it's own look to it. Thank's for the interior shot! I've got to say though, she needs a crew, and a better story. Why is this old ship being recalled? Where is she going? Has she been refitted? Oh, and her stats?

Fine Build, KB, But I really think you should use a renderer, especially for smaller builds such as this.

[COR-FB] Tomahawk Makers Longhouse
Mesabi replied to Spud The Viking's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Great build Spud! It's a very unique idea, which really makes it nice. My only suggestion is I think you easily could have made it bigger, (assuming you have the parts) and the foliage could have been better. Count Mesabi would disagree.... -

New Ship Classes - The Transition
Mesabi replied to Kolonialbeamter's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I don't think It'll be exploited say, (Unless I get really bored) but It would be really easy to round out a fleet with a couple of class 0s. Take my trade run, two ships going through four zones. I could have created three more class zeros, I could have gotten 6 more cargo points with very little upkeep. Just a thought. And for the record, I am the guy who exploits things. I was no fun to be on a minecraft server with.... -
[COR] The Allcock Trading Company Offices, Jameston
Mesabi replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Fantastic build @Ayrlego. Where do I start? The roof is great, and I like the little detail you did with the top floor windows, how the headlamps have a piece in them so they connect seamlessly to the roof. The Colouring and the contrast between the upper and lower floor is great. And the little details, like the ruffled pieces, making a line on the yellow part is fantastic. Only thing I would change is I think you should have used brown windows on the lower floor, rather than gray. And, my general comment about interiors. But overall, I love this build. Keep it up you you Amazing Aussie Architect!- 7 replies

New Ship Classes - The Transition
Mesabi replied to Kolonialbeamter's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hey, I had a thought. Can I like license infinite amounts of class 0 ships? I mean, you could have a fleet of range 4, cargo 2 ships defended by hundreds f range 4 firepower 2 ships, and so on. Is that super cheaty? Because I might try that next MCRA.... -
Nice Ship! Not sure what you're going to do with it though... Class 1s and below have so few stats.

Hey now, I just like having a timetable! I put up my response in AMCRA Origins, so First! I guess. I'll be gone this weekend to a tournament. I can still browse this fine site, but I won't be able to post builds until sunday night probably. Just FYI.

New Ship Classes - The Transition

Can we have this linked in the master index next time Ska apears? -
Event I: way too many troops. Response: Elaborate choice: Buy a ship. WTC Copperhead by North White, on Flickr "So @Maxim I's paying for all this?" Asked Samantha Blythe. She was new to the WTC, and had been hired on for the mission. "Yup!" Said the Count. "Prince Damaximus filled out the paperwork. He can pay for the expenses for the moment. And besides, worst case scenario, we just sell the WTC's four cannons for room for ten more men." "Oh my god, we're so far in debt. Please don't do this." Said Darby Tyler. "Bah! Stop trying to talk him out of it!" Said their guide, Miguel Cruz. He was a washed up Eslandolan merchant, and the only one who would sell them a ship. WTC Copperhead by North White, on Flickr "I never told you how I got here. I was a part of the last time Eslandolans tried to establish a trade network. Three ships lost. And They just leave me here! So what do I do? I do what every good Eslandolan does, I make a profit! In this case, by scavenging the wrecks." said Miguel. "Built up a pretty good business too." "Well, we're lucky we found you! No one else would sell to us!" Said Samantha WTC Copperhead by North White, on Flickr "That's because people here aren't happy with the Northern Powers. Goods from the new world are much cheaper than in the old! Apples used to come from Pan. Now they come in crates stamped MAESTRO! A dozen traders lost everything. And I don't know about this new Prince's plan! Like I said, the people of Madin aren't to happy with the Northern powers." Miguel "Well, that's none of our business. We're here to restock on supplies, maybe loot a pyramid, and buy a new ship. Turns out carrying ten more people than what your ship is rated for is a bad idea." Said the Count. "Fortunately, you met me, a man with a ship to sell, let me present you with, the Copperhead!" Miguel said happily. WTC Copperhead by North White, on Flickr "She's what you'd call a class 3 vessel. Take a look around!" WTC Copperhead by North White, on Flickr The Crew looked over the vessel. She was armed with two standard cannons, but nothing else. Her hull was sturdy, and she was clearly a fast, maneuverable ship. WTC Copperhead by North White, on Flickr "What do you think?" Asked the Count "this is not a good idea. We are FLAT broke." Said Darby. "Darby, it's like this. When someone says they'll buy you dinner, you order the most expensive thing on the menu, so you get the most out of it!" Said the Count "That's why no one ever takes you to dinner!" Said Darby angrily. "Look guys, we need a ship. This is the only one we're going to get. And hey, we can pay it off later." Said Samantha WTC Copperhead by North White, on Flickr "280 of your Doubloons." Said Miguel: "Bill it to one Maximilian Damaximus," Said the Count, " We'll take it!" FIN Hope this I'm doing this right. As soon as I got the choice option, I got building. This vessel will be licensed as the WTC Copperhead. And before you say anything, I know that copperheads are native to North America, not egypt. The name just sounded cool. I'm a bit proud of this one, given what bricks I had on hand. The sails are made from Card stock purchased from the school store. I think it turned out well. @Maxim I, so um, guess I owe you 280 DBs. You said you'd pay me 200 if I didn't cause chaos, and so far I haven't. So, want to call it 80 even? And it miiiiight be awhile before I can pay you. In order of debts, I owe @Brickwolf, @Bregir, and then everyone who participated in the WTC minichallenge. As for the story, I imagine Tellvok as an Ottoman empire counterpart. With pyramids. Anyways, now that the new world has opened up, it's starting to lose business, similar to how IRL the Ottoman's currency was devalued when the Potosí began being mined by spain. But, Maxim will be the one doing most of the legwork, so it's up to him to see what he thinks. Extra pics.

Yeah! That'd be awesome! Anyways, I updated the map. Also here are some new descriptions AMCRA-1updated by North White, on Flickr The City of Madin lies on the Madin peninsula. Water from the Oasis of Mah flows through the city, and was once worshiped as the giver of life to the people of the city. Just outside the city are the tombs of the ancients, large triangular structures that have long been abandoned. The city itself is full of large spires, and obelisks, honoring both the old and new gods. The city is a large trade hub, larger then A'Anbaal, but it is not the capital. Traders here exchange far more goods then all of the new world, but in recent times, they are beginning to find their business edged out by commodities from the new world. They aren't happy about this. Cannastell is a small town on the coast of New Oleon, one of the few safe havens on a dangerous coast. Again, if anyone wants a map for their AMCRA, PM me, I have a lot of fun making these!

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Intro Thread, Era II
Mesabi replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I've always taken Mokolei to be a form of China, although more mongol like if anything. But as for Japan? We know it exists, but we haven't discovered it yet. Additionally, Japan was quite isolationist IRL, so I would just leave it for now. Really, I'd leave it alone, at least for now. -
Count Mesabi finished reading the message. A message aboard the aurora by North White, on Flickr "Well what am I just supposed to do with all these explosives? I can't just toss them overboard!" And how else are we supposed to bring priceless artifacts for study by Corlander scientists home without looting them? I mean tombs are meant to be raided for their contents. And Tellvok is full of ancient tombs." He Said bitterly. A message aboard the aurora by North White, on Flickr "But, considering we're completely broke. I might as well accept. Those two extra warships certainly more than a match for this little tub." He paused. "Messanger. Tell him I will accept his terms. All explosives will be kept aboard the Aurora during our stay in Tellvok. And we'll try our darndest not to steal." The Messanger nodded, and walked back to the rowboat. Count Mesabi pulled open the map and took a look. He had already plotted the course they intended to take. AMCRA-1updated by North White, on Flickr FIN Just my little update to the story. Hope Y'all like the map.

I'll change the name of NouVille to Canastell. Thanks for the lore, and the map. It will really help me in the future. I'm going for the Tellvokians to be a sort of Ottoman empire type.
