  1. Nice Thaum! can't wait to see it in brick form. These pictures can't really do it justice.
  2. My spirit animal is the crow, for we are both scavengers. We will make good use of this opportunity.
  3. So, I have a couple questions about the rules, in relation to multiple person adventures. So first, say me and a guy are going on an adventure. Is one form filled out, one for each individual, just one by the lead adventurer? Second, how does this relate to when a story event happens? Do we each get a separate event, or the same. And if we get the same, do we just collaborate for a build, or tell our side of what happens, or is that our choice? Finally, will we have the choice to separate our adventures at any time, or only when the adventure ends?
  4. Seems alright Bregir. You are going to be swamped when all this starts. Cheers!
  5. Wow! Fantastic ship Titus. I really like what you did on the stern area, with all the detailing. The Custom cannons, and colouring are fantastic as well. I'm blown away. I do have some criticisms. First, the masts are a little short, and the mainsails are tiny. I would have used a couple of these instead. The size of the masts now almost make her look like a, well, early steamship. But this is a fantastic ship. And no one is looking at the masts anyways. I'm just curious, however, what's your plan for the AMCRA? Your build doesn't really say.
  6. Sailing together sounds great! It'll also be good to mend relations between our great nations. Let's discuss this in pm for preliminary plans.
  7. Well, it's good to see you've made it to Mesabi landing. I like your two vinaigrettes. It also seems to hold up to Ayrlego's style as well.
  8. Hey @Ayrlego, I was thinking of having one of my characters join. Are the rules still the same as they're posted?
  9. BoBS Map February 617 by -Mike S-, on Flickr With the advent of the Adventure MCRA, we really have some opportunities to open up the story of BoBS. So, before we all start filling out forms, and overwhelming the leadership, we should take a minute to talk about what we all want to do for the Adventure MCRA. Being secretive about it is going to get us nowhere, since we have to build MOCs throughout the adventure which would kinda reveal what's happening. So, what I plan to do, is to send the WTC Aurora around the south end of Rogan sea, possibly stopping in New Oleon to refuel, and explore. This might take several Adventure MCRAs, but that's the WTC's plans. Thoughts anyone?
  10. Here's the Aurora's cannon design Aurora cannon by North White, on Flickr I couldn't find my other type of cannon. The clip is to attach it to the ship, via a rod.
  11. Fantastic builds! Each vinigerette really shows off your skill, to, well pretty much do anything at this point. I don't think I've seen you build a spaceship though. I might need to send the WTC to do some poaching! Tiger pelts must go for a lot!
  12. Well this blew up . Before turning into some argument over the last challenge. Anyways, I'm glad I'll be able to explore more of the BoBS universe. I'm a little worried about range constraints, but I think it'll be fun to send a ship to the south end of Halos.
  13. You know, this was a great challenge. At first, I was a little on the fence (Partly because I was mad you were able to launch your minichallenge before me) but I really had fun with this challenge. Thank you, @Maxim I, and I really hope we can do this again next year.
  14. So how much will the range stat fit into the Adventure MCRA? Like, can I just go anywhere, or will I be limited to my ship's range stat?
  15. So, as we get into Era II, I'd like to bring up a few things in relation to the Backstory of BoBS. So, so far, we've really only been able to do things in the "Caribbean" region of the BoBS universe. And that's fine, I'm not complaining. But, I'd really like to be able to visit more of the world of BoBS. In real life, age of sail trips traveled to africa, and india, and japan. There was the british conquest of india, and china, japan's isolationism, slave trade, all of these things were a part of the age of sail. And personally, I feel a little trapped in the BoBS caribbean. I don't know what the solution is to this. I mean the simple solution is to just draw some maps and let us settle over there. And maybe you plan to do this with the adventure MCRA, I know one of us corlanders mentioned doing something going to the Mokolei empire. But really, I haven't heard anyone talk about any of this, so I'd like to bring it up. Maybe this is me being a ungrateful jerk. But, at some point in the future. I would like to invade india.
  16. Great build Captain Braunsfeld! It's good to get away from the pirates stuff once in awhile. Almost makes me wish their was a western Eurobricks game. All around, the build is pretty good. I'd like to see more pictures of the upper floor. I'm glad you did an interior too, I'm always a fan of that.
  17. Very nice build thaum. The Cutter is exquisite. The sales are just fantastic on it. I'd love to see it in more builds. I must say though, it's a little hard to make out in the photos. The story is pretty good, but is raises more questions then answers for me. Who are the other two guys? Why is thaum hunting barney? What will happen to poor Barney? Anyways good luck in the contest. I'll open up the voting thread at the end of september. Just realized the ship was the Gargoyle from your other thread. Don't care, is still awesome.
  18. Thanks! The WTC seeks business opportunities wherever we can find them. I really like these hull pieces. They make nice little ships. Yours is a little nicer though Thanks! Maybe I did, but I like being a part of Corrington. Redcoats for the win! Thank you! Yeah, as usual I have to say I can't polish builds right now because College! I just took the LSAT (Law school admission test) so I'll have a little more time to polish things. Hopefully. I do want to do custom rigging with this ship. It's just a matter of finding materials, and making the time. I'm not sure if I have the pieces for a spanker as well, so it might have to stay as is for the moment. I'll post a picture when I get a chance. I have another custom cannon design I use as well, that I might be able to show off too. As for the WTC, I think we'll have fun no matter what I do. And that's what counts!
  19. Spectacular ship Bodi, It really looks great! Does it have a captain's cabin though? I can't tell from the pictures.
  20. Again Congratulations on the promotion. The build is great as well. I really like the technique you used for the floor. I've got to say though, I'm not a fan of the Redcoat torsos, they look to realistic for normal lego.
  21. Great Build Bodi! I can't wait to see where you take the story.
  22. Great Build, Bregir. I really like the Waterfall and the rope bridge. I think it could have used more foliage on the lower area though, it looks a tad sparse. Storywise, things are good, but I think you should have named the two pioneers for future use.
  23. Very nice build, I love what you did with the trees in the barrels. The dock and the landscape are great as well. Keep up the good work, Capt. Wolf!
  24. @Bodi Looks great! Make sure you post all your entries in a new thread as well please. Good luck in the challenge as well.
  25. Seconded. You have to set up a Yahoo account, but it's great and you can use it with your phone.
