Looking great @Elostirion. Each figure has a great use of parts, and a lot of character.

[COR - OCT FB] Royal Post Office, Camp Isaac
Mesabi replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Once again, gorgeous build. The water is fantastic, as well as all the detailing. The lamp is beautiful, and the use of damaged parts is ingenious. But I got to fault you for not putting an interior on her, this one would have been perfect for a small interior on the back. -
Voted! Man people are really split over this.

[WTC-Saboteur-Part3] The Saboteur is invited to dinner
Mesabi replied to Bodi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Great Build Bodi, and a great finale to your entry into the minichallenge. I took the liberty to follow it up here! Your version of the Mesabi residence is A LOT nicer than mine -
Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Medium Residence Darby Tyler walked towards the Mesabi Residence, It was a beautiful day, and the sun shone bright above Mesabi Landing. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr He walked past the two Mesabi Children playing with swords, no doubt looted from somewhere. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr He Passed Sgt. Sally, who was reading a newspaper. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr He Passed a fight between an Oleon soldier, and Corrington one. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr At Last, he reached the door to the Mesabi residence. Suddenly, a gunshot was heard. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr He looked up to see Agnes Mesabi killing a Sea Gull. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr The Sea Gull fell to the ground with a plop. Darby sighed. He had already eaten Sea Gull Soup twice that week. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr Agnes leaped from the roof. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr She landed next to Darby. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr She took a swig from her bottle. "Dinner will be in an hour! Sea Gull Soup!" She said drunkenly. "Yay." Said Darby. "Is the Count inside?" "Yup! She said, and sauntered off to watch the fight. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr Darby entered the Mesabi Residence, and walked through the kitchen. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr Count Mesabi sat with Sgt. Eric, and the Saboteur. "Well, you did put in an effort. That at least should be rewarded." Said Count Mesabi "Thank you!" Said Sgt. Eric Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr "Even though you came to me with nothing, and it was complete luck that the Saboteur was brought to me. I mean the natives only come here for the fruit." "Ummm." Said Sgt. Eric "But since you're here, let's get this guy to talk!" Said Count Mesabi "No! Please!" Said the now clothed Saboteur, "Anything but that! make him go away, he's an animal!" "Why don't you leave, Sgt. Eric. You'll be paid by someone. I think you're services are no longer needed." Said the Count. Mesabi Residence by North White, on Flickr Sgt. Eric quickly left. "Darby! What are you doing here?" Asked Count Mesabi "Dmitri was getting on my nerves again. He kept going on about the 'Papaver somniferum' on the island. Whatever that means." Said Darby "Weird. But we have a conundrum. This man isn't the saboteur. The Saboteur was hired by a man named Thuam, and this man knows nothing." "Huh." Said Darby "So the question is, what do we do with him..." FIN Thanks for viewing my latest build! This one has been on my shelf for a month, while I waited for the minichallenge to wrap up. So, uh, no excuses this time. Extra Pics Here are my thoughts on everyone's entries. @Bodi, Sorry if I've marginalized your characters to much in this build. you really put a lot of work into the challenge, and I liked your builds. I really liked how you used Count Mesabi too. @Professor Thaum, would have liked to have seen you make it to Mesabi Landing. Your story left a lot of unanswered questions. I always like Collabing with you though. @Bregir Herlock Sholmes was an interesting character, but you should have made him an opium addict, like his source character. I might have to change that for you. . Your builds were great, however, and very nice. @Keymonus Your build was really the most creative. I hadn't even thought of using Varcoast or a NPC nation! Bravo! @Maxim I Good job integrating the WTC's shenanigans into the Challenge. I really liked your build too. Oh! And I'm feeling nice today, so I think I'll add a participation prize to 3rd, 4th, and 5th place. I'll each build you a small property of your choosing in a settlement of your choosing, so long as you PM me by November. Expect Shenanigans!

[OCT] Annual OCTOBERFEST Mini-challenge -WINNERS ANNOUNCED!
Mesabi replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Well, it depends on how you want to play the game. If you want to get into it, and join EGS, that's great! If you want to just make stuff for a faction, that's fine to. I would recommend joining EGS, because it's actually pretty easy to get down, and it allows you to set participation goals each month. As for internet fame, well good luck with that. We're a really supportive community, but we're a small one. That being said, Our resident @Ayrlego has been on The Brothers Brick a few times.- 53 replies

Well, I'm still having trouble creating a two person message. This is what it looks like to me. I can't put in any other names on the "To" Catagory Screen Shot 2017-10-01 at 4.12.07 PM by North White, on Flickr I'd really like some help with this.

@Kolonialbeamter I disagree with everyone else. I liked the square ones. But you're probably going to need to set up a poll. -
Great build, Maxim! I really like both street scenes. The Building facades are both very nice, I especially like the detailing you put into the first one. The only criticism I have is I don't like the brickbuilt backgrounds. But overall, great entry! That poor WTC soldier though...

Well, not really. I think you'd have to dig through the archives and read everyone's stories. Long story short, Octan won, mostly through their superior membership, and the fact that everyone left Kawashita except me, and the same thing happened for Mantis as well with @LucByard being their last member. The contributors I remember who really had great stories, were @Dannylonglegs, @pombe, @LucByard, @EpsilonEta, @Professor Thaum, @Big Sal, And myself, @Mesabi. Sorry to everyone I missed, but that's all I remember off the top of my head. Okay, maybe not me, but whatever. Anyways, if you want to play a fun game right now, I'd join BoBS. AG2 will happen, but it might take a while. Come to BoBS, the rules might be daunting, but it's really fun, and the due date for the next Adventure portion is October 10th.

Loving the tags! They all look very nice, almost like a war medal. Only thing I'd change is I think there should be a black outline on the "I" It blends in a little too much for me. -
Tomorrow is the last official date to submit your entries! If anyone needs/wants more time, PM me

[COR-FB] Arlinsport Potato Plantation
Mesabi replied to Spud The Viking's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice build Spud. I really like the shingling you did on the house, but I would like to have seen more of it. They've got These now. so you could have done the wrap around. But that's a minor criticism. I really like the outdoor parts. It's fitting too. Oh, and you should have done an interior on the house. -
Hi, I probably should have done this when I started Eurobricks, but I suppose I'll do one now. Maybe it's entirely inappropriate for me to post here, as I'm about 700 something posts in, but I just felt like introducing myself. My Tag is Mesabi for reasons I'm not going to explain. I'm a Senior in College, Political Science and History major bound for law school who builds for Lego RPGs. Heck I don't know when the last time I built something that wasn't for a Eurobricks RPG. Currently I'm playing as Count Mesabi in Brethren of the Brick Seas, and Captain Mesabi in Andromeda's Gates, and The Great Brick War. My builds aren't the greatest, but I like to think I'm a decent story teller. Currently I'm building out of a few boxes I brought to College. My desk is covered in pieces, and i have several MOCs sitting on my one shelf. My Favorite themes are Sci Fi, and Pirates, both themes Lego has let fall to the wayside. At least I'm not really a Castle fan. I remember browsing Eurobricks as a kid, watching the new set info, and viewing MOCs that were far beyond anything I could ever do. The thing I remember most was a build war between @Oky and this other guy who had a Han Solo Head on his sigfig. If anyone could link it to me, I'd be very greatfull, I can't seem to find it. Anyways I didn't join then because I actually read the rules, and listened to the 18 and under rule. Anyways, i got out of my dark ages in late High School. Eventually, I joined Eurobricks, which, according to my profile, was 2015. Man, it feels like it's been longer than that, because that would have meant I was starting senior year of High School. Anyways, I enjoy being here. I've always got a tab open on my browser. So hello, after two years of being here.

Thanks man, I saw after I posted
