  1. Well, that's going to need some spoiler tags. Thanks for another great edition of KPA @Capt Wolf. It had been to long. I really like the new TMCRA format, But I don't like how all NPCs are lumped together into one big thing. I think it gives too much power to the players. I mean, I know my ships engaged pirates, but I don't know much else. Were they PC pirates? or NPC pirates? I guess it doesn't really matter, but even if I had some tip off as to what attacked my ships, I would feel better about not having to make stuff up for a story.
  2. Very nice build, both in and out. I like the use of the old style windows.
  3. Yeah... Pretty much. @Professor Thaum is the main Sea Rat left. @MKJoshA, @Kwatchi and @dr_spock still participate as well though. @kaiju and @pombe still put ships in occasionally as well. But in terms of any main efforts in the BoBS universe, they're pretty much dead. Here's my interpretation of the players list. Feel free to dispute this anyone! 4. Wow, two lucky MCRAs in a row! So, it says the WTC Icarus Returning is damaged. Do I have to repair her or something? Also, do we get a bonus for building what happened still? I'm a little unclear if those rules changed.
  5. Well, it's supposed to be a warship, but these are just the first few decks. As for colours, Red, White, and Black are just the colours for this ship. I have a yellow and black one back home, and I'm also working on one's colours that are black and orange. Hmmm.... Good idea. As usual of course. I'll try that out when I get a chance to work on her more, which won't be till monday. I like what I have so far, but I had a great idea, so I'm going to change it anyways. Is the midsection rule official? I'm making her fairly tall, so that would be my claim to her being a class 8. And oy pal, I ain't claiming she's a 74 gun! I said I want her to look like one. That's just the style I'm using. And this is just the second draft. I'm going to break her up when I get back home and start again. I was kinda going for a full hulled, but the more I think about it, that's a bad idea as all my ships are waterline. I was going to curve the next deck, but If I lower the gun deck a level, I'll have to curve the second deck.
  6. I mean, I guess. I just had the red cross tile laying around. It's supposed to look like a 74 gun ship, but with the yellow replaced with red, because we're corries.
  7. Got some new WIP shots of the WTC Judgement. I scrapped everything, and started over. It helped that my giant Bricklink order arrived. Only have built the stern today. WTC Judgement WIP by North White, on Flickr WTC Judgement WIP by North White, on Flickr WTC Judgement WIP by North White, on Flickr I'm thinking she'll end up being a class 8, but I won't know until she's finished. Thoughts so far? I know I need to do more detailing, and that's why I've got some 90º bricks on the hull.

  9. I'll work hard to not be in the red! I think I'll be fine once the TMCRA comes through. And thank you for the title! Always wanted one of those. And, umm... Bank of Corrington won't loan to me anymore to me.... Uh-Oh.... Thank you! And yeah, this is pretty much all of my flowers. I'll bricklink a bunch at some point, but for the moment, this is everything. I didn't mean to establish this as the style for Mesabi Landing. Basically, I scrapped Fort Agavia, and brought the parts to college. I'm glad you like the style, it's grown on me as well. Thank you! The WTC is an organization that makes more enemies, than partners, but I'm sure we could work something out.
  10. The Wayfarer Trading Company has very unique uniforms. Curious for each rank? Use this handy guide! WTC Captains WTC forces by North White, on Flickr Dressed in Clean, dark tan uniforms, WTC captains wear a Bicorne. Each WTC captain commands a ship and her crew. Currently the WTC's Vessels are: WTC Aurora Class 2 WTC Copperhead Class 3 WTC Icarus Returning Class 6 WTC Beacon Class 4 WTC Infantry WTC forces by North White, on Flickr The WTC's Infantry was created to relieve the burden of the Marines, who beforehand filled all around roles for the WTC. The WTC Infantry does general guard work, and defends their land installations. WTC Marines WTC forces by North White, on Flickr The WTC Marines are the backbone of the WTC. Trained in combat, resource procurance, and shipmanship, the WTC Marines fill all sorts of roles within the organization. WTC Elites WTC forces by North White, on Flickr The highest ranking combat soldiers of the WTC belong here. Highly skilled in combat, they make sure no foreign power or trade corporation will ever harm the WTC. WTC Specialists WTC forces by North White, on Flickr WTC's specialists fill roles that regular soldiers cannot, such as snipers, translators, and assassins. WTC Operators WTC forces by North White, on Flickr Not all combat is physical! WTC's Operators consist of salesmen, lawyers, and upper level managers. They might be more cutthroat than the elites, however. These are the WTC's forces as of October, 617 iuxta imperium C&C appreciated, the elites aren't quite finished, I need more brown arm things, and they will have red feathers in their caps.
  11. Hey, are cities able to use the freebuild reporting form? Or just players?
  12. Very nice build @Flavius Gratian, It turned out very nicely! Glad to have you onboard the Corrington team.
  13. Very, very nice microbuild! Can't believe you still had one left! The trees are very well done, as is the school itself.
  14. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Small Plantation It was a slightly cooler, but not really because it was still hot, day in Mesabi Landing. A new building had been erected, a plantation house next to some fields. Poppy Plantation by North White, on Flickr Outside, existing Poppies were being harvested, while the sandy soil of Argentia was dug up, revealing more rich soil below. Poppy Plantation by North White, on Flickr Inside, Agnes inspected the house. A large drying rack where poppies sat waiting was on the upper floor. Finished product was packaged below. "...Of course Lady Mezabi, we must keep this area guarded. This stuff is addictive you know." Said Pete Zanzibar. A horticultural expert hired by the WTC "That's precisely why we're selling it, Mr. Zanzibar. But is this the most effective way? I've heard stories of procuring substances, more efficiently..." Siad Agnes "If we had the resources, we would make incisions in the fruit, and drain the sap. But alas, we only are capable of drying it, for later use. However, the market for the crop is currently barren. The New World has little to no plantations. So you will make a fortune!" Pete opened the chest, revealing three large Poppy husks. Poppy Plantation by North White, on Flickr "That's it?" Asked Agnes incredulously "That is a month's profit. 5 Db for the whole chest. And of course, the chest itself, which has a miniscule cost which you must subtract, because you must import the chest, and get rid of the chest." Said Mr. Zanzibar. Poppy Plantation by North White, on Flickr "Load it up. I want this shipped immediately. The Mesabi name is going through some financial struggles, but Mesabi Landing can easily afford paying off the property." Said Agnes. "I want everyone in the new and old world begging for a taste of our 'medicine'" FIN Thanks for viewing my latest build. It's been a busy month for me in BoBS. And I think @Phred is going to come yell at me for being in the red on my Mesabi account. @Bregir, you did transfer that 250, right? Anyways, this will be licensed by Mesabi Landing. At this point I've realized that Opium isn't the plant of Argentia, but I still want a plantation of it here, because, well, opium addicts. I'm not sure if I can have morphine production, that was 1804, on the tail end of our reference point, but then again, British Opium wars of the 1820s, so maybe. I'm not sure how accurate drying out Opium poppies is, wikipedia says that they just cut into them, and drain the sap, but I saw this reference photo, and went off of that. Those actually might be pots now that I think about it. I ordered parts for Agaves for my next plantation. You can see the one I built with existing parts in the Lower left of my first photo. Let me know what you think. C&C appreciated, as always.
  15. Ah. My bad. Carry on y'all
  16. Well welcome to Corrington! The only thing I would say is you don't want to have a "Mary sue" protagonist. Your guy seems to be quite the ace! As for the camera issue, I'd use a smartphone and upload to flicker, it's very easy and there are tons of tutorials. Basically, you call yourself one. But if it's the respect o one, you're going to need some ships!
  17. @Drunknok Build something you can't license PM Bregir via the bank of Corrington Discuss terms Agree on a loan Get a large sum of DBs for Licensing License the build Pay it back eventually. (7 is optional )
  18. Alright, I'm going to pull back on me wanting Opium to be the plant of Argentia. As @Drunknok, and @Ayrlego clearly stated, Opium is neither sweet, nor a succulent. I probably should have taken a hint from the fact we were going to name the island Agavia, and googled what agaves were, but I was really set on the opium thing. I totally accept Agaves as the sweet fruit of Argentia. I still want to build Poppy plantations, but that will be imported poppies, rather than naturally occurring plants. I watched a how it's made on Tequila, and now I'm rather excited for that. So, again Leaders, Agaves as the fruit of Argentia? Does that work, or am I still off?
  19. What I would do, is to build something, then ask for a loan. The BoC can decide the terms, and how you pay it back. If you have something that can definitively generate a revenue stream, you can probably get the BoC to license it. Sorry to speak for you @Bregir
  20. Hey, is there an official lego flag for Eslandola? I know there's one for Corrington, and a similar one for Oleon, but I can't seem to find an Eslandolan one. If so, can someone link me the Bricklink page?
  21. Thanks! And I won't Thanks Drunknok! I really enjoyed building this one. Thank you! This was my source. And yeah, full collection is away. Bricklinking has really helped though. I meant to have a dog running in a treadmill or something, but I just didn't have the parts. I do want to do a part two of this, so maybe I will fix that when I get a chance. I also didn't get to show the "cannon holder" being made as I ran out of baseplates, so that's going to be a separate factory. Thanks!
  22. Gah, I hate Tequila. Give me vodka any day of the week.
  23. Honestly I had no idea. I mean it makes sense now that someone has mentioned it. But it's not like I've tried an Opium poppy before. Maybe it says on wikipedia... I like the idea of the WTC being a drug cartel. And if I could get a monopoly on it.... well, that'd just be more fun. I really want to develop Agnes more as a character, so I might try to do this. I kinda shot myself in the foot by sending so many of my characters on the AMCRA, so Most of my land builds will involve her for the coming months.
  24. Nah, you're good to build a Poppy Plantation @Bodi. I just am asking if one of the features of Argentia can be Poppies, which is different.
