  1. Well obviously, but shouldn't there be some rule of law? Anyone can have fun with their bricks, but we have agreed to come together and have fun with our bricks, and we have created rules for it. Breaking said rules is bad form. And before @Bregir interjects, the rule was completely informal since it goes without saying that people shouldn't use other people's ships without permission! ESPECIALLY FOR THEIR OWN PURPOSES Similar to the fact that Sea Rats and Corries aren't supposed to interact with each other because of some heated discussion 3 months ago? First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend's eye. Matthew 7:5 Now, I would call on their being a new amendment to the rules requiring permission be posted somewhere if someone is allowing others to use someone else's ships. There could be a thread, or we could just PM our faction leaders. That would save on paperwork. But, I am not a leader of this game, I am a mere player. Just please clarify these rules for us.
  2. Excellent build Bodi, the build really turned out nice, both inside and out. I really appreciate your inclusion of an interior on this one. I will say however, I don't think the build gains anything from being turned sideways. I think it distracts a little from the build, and looks a bit wonky. Otherwise, excellent build!
  3. I read the Second part first, and let me say, this is a fantastic build even without all the cranes and in progress stuff. You are an excellent builder, and the idea is very creative!
  4. Excellent build Drunknok! Large plantations are always a task, and that's why we see so few of them. You really went above and beyond with all those plants! Your attention to detail is great as well. I love the little scythes, and the sleeping Marine is very WTCish. My only criticism is the roof of the barn is a little dull. I would have liked to see more detail there, maybe some beams, or a border on the top of the wall. Otherwise, excellent build!
  5. Nice Build Merc, But I'd like to see more photos, and larger ones as well. You can select the size option in the "BBcode" menu on flickr. About the build, well done, it's a well made shooting range.
  6. Excellent Exterior Bodi. The build is very well constructed, and very colonial. I weep for your lack of interior, however...
  7. Excellent build Garmadon! The water is very well done, though I worry that your ship would be stuck in such shallow waters! Everything about the build is excellent, and the story is fantastic as well. I'd like to see more of the underwater parts of your build. Do you have more pictures?
  8. Excellent Build Keymonus. The attention to detail is fantastic! I especially like the small details of the hades statuette, and the coin being buried. The build is excellent as well, and really captures the essence of what would be done to build a dam. keep up the great work!
  9. I agree with @Drunknok and @Maxim I This basically sums it up for me. The thing is, that's not what this is about, Dukesc. This is about someone using someone else's work in a way that is unfair to others. It's not really fair, and as far as I can tell, against the rules to submit someone else's ships in a webform without their permission. Unless @Kolonialbeamter told someone, online or offline Eurobricks that they were okay to use his vessels, they are using his ships illegally.
  10. Larger ship I've been working on. Class 5 by my standards. Any suggestions? WIP ship by North White, on Flickr
  11. So... How's judging going? It has been a little bit. If you need more time that's fine, but I'm excited for the next contest.
  12. Chapter 4b: Hassana The Two WTC vessels had docked in Hassana, in one of the public berths. The BoC galley had docked in one of the royal berths, closer to the Sultan's palace. Hassana by North White, on Flickr "Well, we're completely broke, out of supplies, and in a strange country. Maybe we can sell the vessels for a ticket home. You idiot." Said Samantha "Well, I thought this would be easier." Said the Count. "And besides, we'll be fine. Worst case scenario, we just murder the crew of a vessel and steal it." "They could see that as an act of war by Corrington!" Yelled Samantha. The two stepped off the boat, only to be approached by two Panlotes. Hassana by North White, on Flickr "Are you the Bahors of the Corrish vessels?" Asked the first. Hassana by North White, on Flickr "What? Corrington? Is that that place with the queen that everyone loves and science or whatever? Well no." Said the Count. Hassana by North White, on Flickr "You fly Corrish Colours, my friend." Said the second. "Yes, we're Corrish." Said Samantha. "We're here to resupply on our journey southward." "Don't tell them that! Than they'll gouge us!" Said the Count. Hassana by North White, on Flickr "We saw your vessels from our lookout. And our rayiys would like to speak with you. It has been long since he spoke to someone from Corrington." Said the First. "We'll come with you. Darby!" Yelled the Count. "What!" Yelled Darby back. "We need to go talk to some Panmen." "They're called Panlotes!" "Whatever, just come on." Hassana by North White, on Flickr The Four walked through the city of Hassana, which was mostly an uphill climb. Soon, they arrived at a small alabaster building built into a cliff. Hassana by North White, on Flickr A Guard stood at the enterance holding some sort of firearm. The roof of the building was a shiny gold. Hassana by North White, on Flickr The Guard let them through, and they entered the building. Hassana by North White, on Flickr A figure sitting at a desk greeted them. "Greetings Friends! Welcome to Hassana!" Hassana by North White, on Flickr The building was larger than appeared from the outside, built into the mountain. Inside a collection of relics from around the region lined the walls. Hassana by North White, on Flickr "Woah, this stuff is awesome!" Said the Count. "Take a look around." Said the figure. "My name is Alqayid Bakr. I represent an organization here in Pan, I believe you would call it Pan's Independant Contractors in Madrician." "Is that a real Skeleton?" Asked Darby Hassana by North White, on Flickr "Yes Friends. He was a Alqayid in the Juniper Wars." Darby looked confused. "What? Did you Madricians think you were the only ones who fought in the Juniper Wars? Your queen hired us to cause trouble for the Oleon Nadil during the war. And cause trouble we did!" "Why's he in a case?" Asked Darby. "It is a tradition from our ancestors, the Pyros, to display the remains of our enemies." Said Bakr. "How about those helmets?" Asked the Count Hassana by North White, on Flickr "Yes! The first is from the Great Empire, 600 years old it is. The other from a Samurai of Dranmonto." "And what's that?" Asked the Count. Hassana by North White, on Flickr "Ah! That is a scroll from Kemblar, some sort of religious one. But All good men who wish to be saved worship Ra. No offense to you of the Order, of course." Said Bakr "None taken." Said the Count. Hassana by North White, on Flickr "And on that wall are some more of my treasures. The pelt of a lioness. A crest from our friends in Peri. Flags from Oleon, and the Kingdom of the Lotus. Taken from ships we sank of course. And a Blossom from the Gardens of Tendari." Bakr concluded "Wow!" Said the Count. "When we get home we need to fill my office with cool stuff!" "Also, I need an office." Said Darby "Gentlemen, it is time to discuss business." Said Bakr. "Sit." Hassana by North White, on Flickr "I have some business opportunities, but ones I cannot send my own corsairs on for reasons that will soon become apparent. This is where you come it." Said Bakr "Well, we're almost broke, and out of supplies. If you can resupply us, I'm sure we can work something out." "Excellent. Hear me out friends..." FIN Thanks for viewing my second half of the Chapter. C&C appreciated!
  13. Chapter 4a: Off Course: A Seagull alighted on the WTC Copperhead marking the passing of the fogmist. Bound for Pan by North White, on Flickr The Count was fast asleep in the main cabin, dreaming of the far south. Bound for Pan by North White, on Flickr Darby walked in, banging on a large pot. "Rise and Shine Mesabi! You're needed on the bridge!" Said Darby. Bound for Pan by North White, on Flickr "Ugh, Darby, haven't I told you to call me your highness?" Said Count Mesabi with a yawn. "Yes, and I'm not going to. We're in trouble." Said Darby, annoyed "What now? Did Dmitri fall overboard again?" Count Mesabi asked, recalling the three times that voyage that Dmitri had drunkenly slipped overboard. "No, we're out of almost everything." Said Darby. "What do you mean?" Asked the Count "Well the Fog-" The Count interrupted Darby. "Fogmist." The Count Countered. "Whatever. Anyways we used all of our gunpowder to keep the ships in line for the fog, burned all of our candles to see through the fog, and ate all of our foodstuffs because you didn't buy enough in Madin!" Yelled Darby "Relax. I have a plan!" "No you don't! Now get on deck and give us some orders!" "Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine." replied the Count. He grabbed the map, and walked to the bridge. Bound for Pan by North White, on Flickr "So, let's go to this place called Hassana." Said the Count. "We can stock up with those Panians." "I think they're called Panlotes." Said the helmsman. They made the course corrections, and were soon towards the outer edge of Hasanna The north end of the bay held a great palace, built into the mountains. They looked for a bay to dock in, where they could find supplies. Bound for Pan by North White, on Flickr Bound for Pan by North White, on Flickr To be Continued.... Thanks for viewing the first half of this chapter. I will build the second when I get a chance. C&C appreciated.
  14. Location: Trador Type: Medium Commercial Mordo, Zumbro and an Eslandolan realtor stood at the far end of the quayside, far from the nicer part of Trador. "Trador está un ocupado City, friends." Said the Eslandolan realtor, "buildings by the quayside are muy far from each other, and hard to come by." Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr "Which brings us to this fabelachtig estate." He finished. Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr "Yes, an abandoned warehouse at the far end of Trador is certainly fabulous, especially as it's accented in pink. Who designed this place, that weird Oleonese guy?" Said Mordo sarcastically. "Well, I like it." Said Joseph Zumbro. "How much?" Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr "The price is precio bajo only 100 Dbs." Said the Realtor. "We'll take it!" Said Joseph before Mordo could react. Mordo groaned. "Excelente! It's yours. No takebacks!" Said the Realtor. "100 Dinero in my office by nightfall." He handed them a key. Mordo and Zumbro walked over to the door. "What a great deal." Said Zumbro. "You know these Eslandolans are trustworthy because-" Mordo cut him off. Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr "You idiot! Commercial properties cost a third of that! You were supposed to haggle!" "Why? Not my money I'm spending." Said Zumbro, smirking. "Get the store completed, or I will leave you here on this apple infested rock..." Said Mordo. He stomped off and away to go get something to drink. The team got to work. Sally was the strongest of the group, and was able to carry a heavy chest by herself. Bradley and Karren had to carry a crate together. Joseph held the door, because he was a gentleman, and also lazy. Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr Karren, a makeup expert, was tasked with writing the Logo on the front of the store. Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr The box she was sitting on was placed poorly, and she came to a crash as Zumbro knocked the doors open. Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr "We put a sign there you idiot!" Said Bradley. "Well, I didn't read the sign, you idiot." Within a day, they were finished. Mordo came back, grumpy as ever. Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr Inside, happy shoppers browsed the Waymart's wares. A Corrish Captain browsed pants Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr The Eslandolan Realtor looked at foodstuffs. Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr And other shoppers browsed the store's various wares. Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr "I'm actually impressed." Said Mordo. "I guess I'll take you to King's Harbour with me. I've got a ball to attend." Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr Agne's private Yacht, the WTC Queen of Hearts pulled up to the Quayside. Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr And with that they were off to establish more Waymarts. Waymart Trador by North White, on Flickr FIN Thanks for viewing my build! I had fun making this one look like an American big box store, and I hope it turned out that way. It's definitely not my best build, but I think it captures the ubiquitousness of a big box store. I hope @Maxim I feels that this is a good addition to Trador. Shoutout to @Bodi for obvious reasons. C&C appreciated.
  15. Very nice build Drunknok. The use of horns on the front is a nice detail. The building turned out very nice! Keep up the good work!
  16. Well that was fast! Excellent Ship Roadmonkey, The detailing is well done for a ship of it's size. Keep up the good work.... ...But we'll see if us corries let you keep it.
  17. Excellent Continuation of your story @Drunknok, your microbuilds continue to be fantastic, as are your regular builds for this story. The story is well written, and I can't wait to see where your adventure goes.
  18. She is Professor Sprout from Harry Potter. Feel free to find a cheaper alternative though
  19. Excellnt build and story Genaro! The detailing on the outside is absolutely fantastic, the use of all the pieces to make the small details pop is suburb. I must comment on the lack of an interior however.
  20. I thought I'd be brave and try to use the small yacht hull to make a pleasure yacht. Can I get some tips? I know Sir Stig used it in his AMCRA, so it is doable, Freeport Overview by Stig Ove Bjørnstad, on Flickr Mine: WIP yacht by North White, on Flickr WIP yacht by North White, on Flickr WIP yacht by North White, on Flickr Thoughts?
  21. I really hope to tell a proper story with this character, specifically one akin to @Kwatchi's Evil Bishop Story Arch. Hopefully I am doing so. Eh, It was on my list and I never got around to it. That's a common complaint with my builds Thank You! The next chapter will be released in April!
  22. magnificent build Dee. The wheels are fantastic, and very period accurate. I must say, however, you should have made the doors bigger!
  23. Very nice build Faladrin. The foliage is nice, and the volcano is great as well. I regret, however, that no one was devoured by the plant!
  24. Very nice, very clean build. I would have liked to have seen some vegetation in the front however. Additionally, there is no interior. There's at least 6 studs of room for you to put in some furniture and living room items. I'd like to see the additionally effort be done.
