  1. Well, welcome @Agent Kallus! Glad to have another Corrie on board.
  2. @Roadmonkeytj Drunknok will be searching another island, which will become clear when he posts his build.
  3. Chapter 3: Black Sand Beach Location: Isle 16 All 4 of the Team rowed slowly to the Island. Black sand beach by North White, on Flickr "Black Sand beaches. Copper. Tasty fruits. This has to be the island!" Said Captain Angles. "Yo! This island is too Tony's liking. All the skeletons on the shore look inviting." Said Tony Black sand beach by North White, on Flickr On the shore, a pile of skeletons missing their heads lay, having fallen from a tree. Black sand beach by North White, on Flickr "Hard to get ahead in these trying times." Said Tony with a grin. "Well, that's one of the Red Rascal's uniforms... They must have been here. We have an isle to search boys!" Said Captain Angles. To Be Continued...
  4. @Bregir Look man, it took leadership at least 2 months to judge a challenge. During that time there was no communication about why it took 2 months. There was no timeline put in place. Now, as a part of playing BoBS, I have never been told that there must be a timeline or timely judging, I admit that. However, it should be reasonably expected that leadership will do their part to quickly and timely work the game. I take it as being a moderator on a game server. You put in your time to make sure things run smoothly. That's the deal, leadership makes thing run smoothly, so that the game is worth playing. Now, I will take my usual time to call out my good friend @Drunknok for complaining. However, Can you list them? A month ago Drunknok asked in the chat how judging was going and he got no response. How do you think that made Him feel? How should he act if no one is responding? Inaction and neglect are in the same boat as an snarky comment. No, Bregir, and I mean this as nicely and civilly as possible. You have overreacted here. Drunknok has gotten little communication about the challenge, and thusly and rightfully complained about it. It takes 10 seconds to write and post "We're taking longer than expected for judging, sorry." Well it is not 100% needed, without it it can easily appear that leadership is ineffective, and absent. If Leadership is ineffective and Absent, it is right to complain about them. Therefore it is the job of leadership to at the very least to not appear ineffective and/or absent. Additionally, Leadership cannot and should not use the excuse that it is only a hobby. If you do not have time or motivation to lead the game, you should not remain a leader. This is why @Scarst is not on the leadership team any more. If you cannot do your job, the polite thing to do, is to let someone else do it. Plenty of BoBS leaders have taken this option. Just because this is a game, does not give you or anyone else to do a poor job. And I must say that trading barbs with Drunknok over how long you took to judge a challenge is not only poor form, but also poor leadership. You are here to keep things running smoothly. And this is only serves to create tension among BoBS members. The Problem is, we're not acting entitled. We're asking for the game to run smoothly. That is all we want. That is the purpose of having GMs. You don't have to do a good job, but it should be expected, that's why you're a leader. If you do a bad job, in any other scenario, you would be removed. Simply because this is a hobby should not change that. I will mention here, that is not friendly, polite or constructive to ignore simple questions about BoBS, to respond with a bit of negativity with ore negativity, or to threaten to remove someone from a game because they irked you. "first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." Matthew 7:8. So, I will say the following. Maybe Drunknok had a bad day. Maybe you did. But that's no excuse for you to go off on Drunknok about how he's disrespectful. If Drunknok throws a barb, maybe instead of acting as if he's a bad player, maybe consider that no one is perfect, and we all have failings. Drunknok may have lost his patience and responded by sarcastically saying that complaining is all that works. Is that really terrible? It's not the nicest thing to say, but we ALL have to acknowledge our wrongs, lest we live in a world where everyone thinks they're perfect and does crappy things.
  5. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Medium Factory Early in the morning, the cartload of wood arrived at the Barrel Factory. Barrels! by North White, on Flickr The workers spent all day making Barrels. Barrels! Barrels! by North White, on Flickr Barrels! by North White, on Flickr And by noon, they had filled the Cart with Barrels. Barrels! by North White, on Flickr WTC: A Leading Pioneer in Innovation. FIN Thanks for viewing, C&C appreciated.
  6. Chapter 3 Prelude: Who Else?!? The Chequered Past continued to sail merrily along towards it's destination. The weather was nice, and things seemed to be going well. Pirate hunt intermission by North White, on Flickr Pirate hunt intermission by North White, on Flickr Tony strode up to Captain Angles with a saunter. "Yo, it's 'kay that I told some friends to go pirate hunting too right?" said Tony. "What? Why? No! We can handle this!" yelled Captain Angles. "Yeah... but... dude, it's a pirate hunting party. Everybody loves parties, everybody is invited!" said Tony with a grin. "It is absolutely not!" yelled Captain Angles. Pirate hunt intermission by North White, on Flickr "Anyways, my fellas are joining the party anyway. Told them that silly riddle. No idea where they'll go." "Who did you even invite?!?" Meanwhile.... ( @Drunknok will take it from here...)
  7. Great Build Keymonus! your build is both practical and creative. Keep up the great work! But then the WTC could find a superweapon that controls the weather and use it in a campaign to subjugate Carno!
  8. Fantastic build Spud, your plantation is fantastic. Special props to the Drummer though, I would never have thought of doing that. Keep up the great work!
  9. Great Writing Drunknok. You always keep me amused with these.
  10. Thanks BB! Considering how much we all write, in universe someone has to make the ink. The roof technically isn't supposed to be open, I just ran out of slopes. And they always look pushed down when I build, it's just more noticeable in photographs I think. Thank you! Thank you TJ! Thanks Bart! Dangit! Forgot to hide one somewhere.
  11. Nice build BB. The carriage is the spotlight however. I might have to try building it in real bricks!
  12. Nice build Josh. I like your use of studs to make the walls more detailed. All in all the detailing is great. Where do the cracked tiles come from? I don't think I've seen them.
  13. Excellent Build Drunknok, and a great continuation of the Waymart stores. The store is very clean, and the weapons room is well organized as well. Keep up the great work! Also, some of your swords have yellowed a bit. Are they pre dark ages?
  14. Nice warehouse Drunknok! I see you've taken to using my tree in your builds.
  15. nice build Drunknok. But a grown man whereing the head of a giant rabbit distributing eggs might be a bit weird for even Mesabi Landing
  16. Great Build Thaum. While it's small, it's still nicely detailed. I like what you have done. Hey that's the WTC's job!
  17. Excellent build Thuam, your detailing is superb. The floors are great, and the pool table is a nice addition. I like all of the placing you've done. Great build, and thanks for building in Corrington. Maybe you could venture over to Mesabi Landing sometime.
  18. Fantastic little build, and a great addition to Mesabi Landing. The build is incredibly inventive, and well built. Keep up the great work!
  19. Very nice build Spud! The building is very realistic and well done. All of your detailing is fantastic. My only criticism is you used this for your activation build, it would make a fine artisan build by itself!
  20. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Large Factory The Rails of Mesabi Landing had made everything disturbingly efficient. Inky Brewsters by North White, on Flickr Coal was being transported to factories across the town, which by now was impressively sized. Inky Brewsters by North White, on Flickr But Coal was just one of the ingredients needed to produce products in this factory. Inky Brewsters by North White, on Flickr Ink was important throughout the colonies, and could be manufactured easily with simple ingredients. Inky Brewsters by North White, on Flickr A mixture of Horse Glue, Water, and Coal made the sticky black substance that was needed throughout the colonies. Inky Brewsters by North White, on Flickr WTC: A leading Pioneer in Innovation. FIN Thanks for viewing my large factory! I hope you liked this build. C&C appreciated!
  21. Great Project Bregir, I really like the culmination of all of the work you put into this. You are a great builder and it really shows. And the Cameos really make the whole thing fun and entertaining. Great job all around! agreed!
  22. absolutely fantastic build Keymonus, you really outdid yourself while working on this project. The curvature of the tower is fantastic, as well as the interior. Your builds really made the project come together. Great job!
  23. Nice build Blackbird, the foliage is well done, and the trees are very nice. However, there's a lot of blank space though. In fact, one of your renders cuts out some of this blank space. I worry that too much of your build is simply studs, which is technically cheating the EGS system. I think leadership should review this.
  24. I'd like @Drunknok to join this AMCRA, as I would like it to be the WTC's AMCRA. How would you prefer him to join if that is okay with Y'all? Should his characters just hear the riddle as well? Please let me know.
  25. Location: Belson Type: Ship "Bah, I tell you Nick, you need accomplishments in the new world to rise through the ranks these days. It's ridiculous." Said Ansa, "Could be worse, we have been assigned a ship." Nick replied. HMS Red Angel by North White, on Flickr "Yes, the HMS Red Angel, A class 5 frigate." Said Ansa HMS Red Angel by North White, on Flickr "Paperwork, Madam." Said a Dockworker. "Thank you. What is the status of the vessel?" Asked Ansa "Everything is done but the rigging and the sails, she'll be ready to sail within a few weeks." he replied HMS Red Angel by North White, on Flickr Nick and Ansa boarded the vessel. HMS Red Angel by North White, on Flickr "She's a sturdy ship, this one. She's the Judgement's little sister, 14 24 lb guns, to the Judgement's 19. She's sturdier though, and can take more hits. We think." Said Nick "Excellent" said Ansa HMS Red Angel by North White, on Flickr "This is the Forecastle, we'll be attacking a lifeboat here once she's ready to sail." HMS Red Angel by North White, on Flickr They walked back to the front of the ship. HMS Red Angel by North White, on Flickr HMS Red Angel by North White, on Flickr "She's an excellent Vessel. But I assume there's a Captain's Cabin?" asked Ansa "Yes," said Nick, "but decorating it is on you." They went below deck into the Captain's Cabin. HMS Red Angel by North White, on Flickr "When can we set sail?" Ansa asked. "Soon...." said Nick. FIN Thanks for viewing my new Ship! I really tried to go above and beyond with this one, and I hope it shows. I still have to do the rigging and the sails, but I need more parts to do so. C&C appreciated!
