  1. @Phred, can the WTC Beacon be removed from the account sheet? It was captured by Kwatchi, and scrapped for parts, so it can simply be removed from the game. Thank you!
  2. Got my first build up for the royal university. It's a corner of location 15 on the map. Can't wait to see everyone else's!
  3. Location: Arlinsport Type: Royal University It was a cloudy day in Arlinsport, as the Luca siblings walked into the department of Politik, Philosophy, and History library, next to the Great Garden of Tiberia. The University of Tiberia by North White, on Flickr "Tiberia could easily have been Nameren, you know." Said Maria. "Do South of Balmin, if only we hadn't been at war with the Bremerens, we could have sent our ships and taken it for ourselves." The University of Tiberia by North White, on Flickr "Ah, wouldn't that have been nice, sister. A united Namere under Gonda. A pity it was the Bremerens who won the war." Replied Luca The two entered the library. The librarian shushed them without even looking up. The University of Tiberia by North White, on Flickr "Greetings, my friends." Said Princess Isabella of Gonda, "Though I regret circumstances are not as I wish they could be." The University of Tiberia by North White, on Flickr "We're alive, and that's what matters." Said the pricessess's attendant, Antonio Barsotti. "Alive, but broke, our forces scattered, and our resources exhausted." Said Isabella. The University of Tiberia by North White, on Flickr "If we ever want to take back our kingdom, we'll have to find new allies." Said Maria, "We're in a Corrish Settlement. Perhaps these, 'Corries' can be of use." "That incident in Carno set us back. We can't trust outsiders again. Not again." Said Antonio. The University of Tiberia by North White, on Flickr "Unfortunately, we must. I've reached out to local governance for resources. The only useful thing I've found is a flier labeled 'Captain Wanted' for a ship. seems some organization is taking anyone they can get. If we ever want to recover the throne of Gonda, we must begin wherever we can. Luca, see if you can get the position. Take whoever you need." Isabella said. "I'll take Nico, and Maria. It's going to be a chore, but baby steps." Said Luca. "Anything else to discuss?" The University of Tiberia by North White, on Flickr "Nico, you go with Maria and Luca, we've got big plans." said Isabella, calling the navigator over. The University of Tiberia by North White, on Flickr The Three left the library. The Librarian shushed them again, as they passed uniforms from some pointless war between Oleon and Corrington. They had work to do. FIN Thanks for viewing my build for the royal university of Tiberia! As I am spearheading the project, it would be a sin for me to not get something decent looking out. I can't wait to see everyone else's builds for the project. C&C appreciated, especially on the story. I hope to develop things in Namere more like @Keymonus did with Varcoast. Thanks again, and let's hope this is the start to a great project for Corrington and the Brick Seas as a whole.
  4. So, I've been doing some building lately with brown plates, and I've noticed they're a little brittle, and break easily. The problem with brown by North White, on Flickr Are my pieces just old or something, or is this a common problem?
  5. Thanks for the upgrade! I especially like the part that sends you to the latest part of a PM, not the start. Great work guys!
  6. Excellent build Flavius, and well rendered as well. I really like the colours, and the vessel is very realistic as well. Great work, and let's hope she lives a long life on the brick seas.
  7. Okay, @Kwatchi. Your constant refusal to accept that Brethren of the Brick Seas is a cooperative game involving people of other factions is becoming borderline inane. We're not trying to influence, or sway Sea Rats in any way other than to promote cooperation between the factions. @Bregir merely suggested using the Bank of Corrington. @Drunknok offered free money. We're simply trying to help. But maybe that's not what you want. You're not a member of the brethren court, not a leader of the sea rats, simply a mayor of a settlement that currently no one but you or other sea rats can build in. Maybe what you want is for us to consider you and all your sea rat buddies as pirates, and spend the rest of our days sinking every sea rat and taking over all your settlements. But that's not what we want. We want to build new things together. I want Sea Rats to help build the University of Arlinsport as much as any other faction. I want to have my WTC visit Charlatan Bay and build more pants caves. I want the FTA to be able to visit and build for Mesabi Landing, or "Mesabi Fabuland" as you call it. And I'm sure the members of Corrington want similar things. As a show of goodwill, All Corrish ports are open to anyone, save black flag pirates, as is our policy set out by @Bregir. We won't be charging any tariffs or harbour fees, because Corrington wants free trade and cooperation between the factions. We don't have to do that. So please, check your attitude. Remember that this game is a GAME, which means multiple people play as per the definition, and it is a cooperative game. And I hope to see your builds continue to bring great stories to the brick seas.

  9. I think I'd prefer to know rather than building a bunch of ships and then having the heartache losing them. Also, after seeing @Drunknok build like 4 large plantations to try to find the bonus for Mesabi Landing, I'd prefer not to have to do a similar task. I do appreciate the random values to the tmcra, I just want to know if it's calculated per fleet, or per ship. If it's per ship, it would be ridiculously hard to take on any ship with anything but a larger ship, unless someone did a glass cannon run with one stat maxed. If it's per fleet, overspecialization could be more advantageous. Either way, it will influence my ship design.
  10. I was on mobile earlier, hope this clarifies. Say I have two fleets. They both have 3 ships of equal class, and equal maneuvering. 1 fleet has a stat of each maxed and the other 2 at zero. 1 fleet has all stats equal. If they fight, who would win? Would the ships individually fight another individual ship, or are all the ship's stat points added together for the battle? It would really help me decide ship design for the future.
  11. Nice build, overall, and you already seem to be making a name for yourself on the brick seas. I feel the front of your build is a tad random, with the 1x1 round pegs just a little uneven. The back is much nicer in my opinion, but overall it's a nice build. I do question your lack of even a simple interior, however. It's the extra details that really count.
  12. I've been wondering, about how combat is done in the tmcra how is combat done? With ships individually, or 1 on 1? And how are the three combat points applied? Like imagine a battle between two groups of class 5 ships. Would a fleet that each had 1 stat maxed but 0 in the other 2 win against a fleet of "jack of all trades" lose or be tied?
  13. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Royal Factory To make the designs for new WTC shipyard, a medium executive office was constructed downtown. Royal office of ship design by North White, on Flickr Agnes arrived in a coach to talk to the director. Royal office of ship design by North White, on Flickr A secretary greeted her. "hello miss Agnes. How are you doing today?" "It's Madam Mesabi you ugly fool. Where's your boss?" Royal office of ship design by North White, on Flickr "Uh, she's upstairs. you didn't need to be hurtful..." "Excellent. And yes I did." replied Agnes. In the building, designers worked to craft model ships, and too sketch out new ones. Royal office of ship design by North White, on Flickr Agnes stared down the director. Royal office of ship design by North White, on Flickr "So, can you make me a really big ship..." She asked. "Certainly." Said the director. "But how big?" "Big." Said Agnes. FIN This completes the royal factory of Mesabi Landing, which can be found here. Thank you for viewing, and C&C . appreciated.
  14. Thank you Ayrlego! Once I get that last 32x32 section finished, I'll have it licensed. Thank you! Thanks. I really think I've improved as a builder over the past year, and I hope it shows. Since this was a large build, my pieces were spread quite thin so it might be a little under detailed in places. Aye. Pieces were spread quite thin during the build, and I'm surprised I even had enough to finish it. I hope that doesn't show that much, but I wish I had more pieces to have made it look prettier. My partner would not approve however, and my wallet would hurt too. It's hard being a graduate student when it comes to lego! I feel like this is a point we will always disagree on. Well it can be quite jarring with some of the older pirate torsos, many of the star wars torsos work actually really well for Pirates. I mean the WTC torsos are from the Tusken Raiders in the SW line. Additionally, I've always seen yellow minifigs perhaps as a racial difference in the lego world, and I've actually made a few hidden jokes with that. Regardless, I'll try to make my minifigs match better in the future. I will get those last few studs finished, and I will not license the vessels as per your request. Thank you for your comprehensive comment, it really means a lot to me. Thank you Thaum, and i remember when you gave me some texamples of how Lego ships should look. I hope these match your standards. I wish I could have done a little more with the detailing, but I simply did not have the parts As for the TNT, this is a WTC facility! Thank you Drunknok. Now that I think about that, that would have made it a lot better. I'll make sure to do that in my next project. Thank you Bodi! This goes as part of my effort to make the WTC a captain of every industry. Vertical and Horizontal integration for the win!
  15. Excellent build @Drunknok, and great use of the ninjago general No 1. torso for Epper. Good luck getting a position in the RNSD, but I hope you don't edge out the more qualified, and much handsomer candidate, Joseph Zumbro.
  16. Great build Blackbird, and lovely interior. Congratulations on your advancement of Quinnsville, and here's to you making the next level with all of Corrington's help.
  17. Location: King's Harbour Type: Freebuild Joseph Zumbro sat in his Hotel Room in King's Harbour working on a letter. Sally was busy nagging him. Joeseph Zumbro runs for office by North White, on Flickr "Come on, you aren't going to get this, you're grossly underqualified!" said Sally "Have some faith, this beats setting up Waymarts everywhere!" Said Joeseph Sally looked at Joeseph's resume Joeseph Zumbro runs for office by North White, on Flickr "I'm so going to nail this" Said Joseph FIN
  18. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Royal Factory A wagon rumbled along the tracks towards the largest building in Mesabi Landing, the royal shipyard. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr The structure was massive, and was built into the harbour, for immediate ship launch. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr The designers, architects, and engineers carefully studied the designs, before relaying the information to the grunts for execution. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr Today, 2 ships were under construction, the WTC Robin and the WTC Blue Moon. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr Agnes and Mordo walked towards the factory, their usual custom for when a new factory was operational. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr Agnes walked to the table with a manifest. "We need you to double your output. We need more money to fund this giant factory." The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr Inside, wood was cut, and unloaded, all from other islands that actually had trees. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr A crane lifted materials from the rail cars to the staging ground. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr The ships were almost completed, and the launch was planned later that day. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr Finally, a ship was ready. 2 horses got it moving down the rails to the sea. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr Slowly, it moved down the rails. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr It slid down the rails into the water. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr And with that, the WTC had another ship. The royal shipyard by North White, on Flickr FIN Thanks for viewing this massive build I did. The hard part wasn't building it, but photographing it in my tiny room was damn near impossible. I'd like to license this as a royal factory for the WTC. As this requires a charter, I hereby apply for it. I hope that this build meets the requirements for a royal build. The footprint is 96x96, which is lower than the 100x100 requirement, but I feel this is a little arbitrary, and hope leadership would agree. If you would like it to be 100x100, I can add a 32x32 section to the factory. As for the quality, I have put my best foot forward with the pieces I have, and I hope leadership would allow for this to be considered of royal quality. If it is not, well, I'll just license 3 large factories this month. C&C appreciated, as usual.
  19. @Professor Thaum The Native (whose name turned out to be Wapasha, from Terraversa) was part of a fishing expedition that had been attacked by 3 ships two days earlier. One of the ships had appeared to be some sort of salvage vessel, and had removed something from the wreck caught in the reef. Upon seeing the natives, they had attacked, leaving them stranded at sea. The ships had been flying Altonian colours. Quickly, Barney Wolf looked at the KPA for clues. Three Altonian ships had entered King's Port during the last month, and left, heading for the Altonian capital of Ulric. They must have recovered the Red Oktober, and taken it into their territory. Options: The Kingdom of Windmills awaits! Show the Andromeda entering Ulric and finding where the Red Oktober is by: Bashing some heads in! 1 build required showing the Andromeda's men forcefully extracting the location of the Red Oktober. Getting some people Drunk! 1 Build required showing the Altonians and the crew of the Andromeda in a bar (20xd12 roll in Dbs lost) Searching ourselves! 2 builds required showing the Crew of the Andromeda searching Ulric for clues. We need back up! 1 build. Pick a nearby port and show your men recruiting more people to help find the Red Oktober. We're out of our depth! 1 build showing the Andromeda returning home. Remember that your choices may have consequences, so chose wisely...
  20. @Capt Wolf Calvo and his men left the village, and set up camp on the beach. Clearly the natives were not as well armed as them, but they were far more numerous and knew the terrain. Even now on the beach, they heard an occasional click and a rustle of leaves. The island was still a mystery to them, but they had options to change that. Survey the Island by sea: 1 Build required showing the exploration of the island's rivers, and bays. (Will yield the island's Geographical features but not rumors) Into the jungle: 1 build required showing the island being explored by Calvo and is men (This will yield the Island's geographical features and rumors, but may earn the ire of the natives) Into the Jungle, gently: 2 builds required showing Calvo and his men exploring the island as peacefully and non invasively as possible. (This will yield the Island's geographical features and rumors) Back to the village: 3 builds required showing Calvo and his men figuring out how to communicate with the natives, and their village. (This will yield the Island's geographical features and rumors, and possibly other information or rewards.) More builds are welcome, and feel free to ask questions
  21. Location: Poorvintia (Carno) Type: Freebuild A scream and a thud startled the secretary of records in Poorvintia. Escape from poorvintia by North White, on Flickr 2 figures burst into the room of records "Who are you? What do you want!" the secretary cowered. Escape from poorvintia by North White, on Flickr With a whack he fell to the floor. Escape from poorvintia by North White, on Flickr "Sister, was that really necessary? The man was cowering." Asked Captain Luca Gray "I would have thought that you would support an act of malevolence against a Carnivore." Said his sister, Maria Gray "We came here for information. Nothing more nothing less." replied Captain Gray "And information we shall take at all costs." his sister replied They began gathering up the papers. Soon, the WTC Icarus Returning had left Poorvintia. The two watched the settlement disappear over the horizon. Escape from poorvintia by North White, on Flickr "Loti Junks facing Carnivorian warships. Who do you suppose attacked first?" Asked Maria "A question for the ages, but that is not our business. Our business is to make sure they do not claim the entire region for their own." replied Luca "Another task for the WTC." Said Maria. FIN Thanks for viewing my story build introducing some new characters (even though I already have a ton.) C&C appreciated as always, and I can't wait to further this story.
  22. Excellent build and story Thaum. I guess being an old foggy also makes one's head weird shaped as well
  23. Great build Drunknok! I love both sides of the building. Your continued use of the bay window piece is nice, as is how you set the two doors inwards some.
  24. Excellent Ship Blackbird, I love how powerful she looks. Your efforts to build up the Corrish fleet have resulted in amazing results. Here's to you! You took the WTC Judgement's position as the largest Corrish ship however.
