Yeah, I can see where you're going. Now that I think about it, I agree with you. It does defeat the purpose of LEGO.
-
''Sigh'' You're right. This won't go anywhere.
-
Actually, it wasn't my idea. As I said in the first sentence of my post, I made this topic from the discussion that @xboxtravis7992 in page 9 of the 2016 LEGO Trains thread.

This topic came to be from a discussion we had on page 9 of the 2016 LEGO Trains thread. @xboxtravis7992 suggested that City should be a more ''connected'' theme, and I agree with him. Every set should be connected to each other. Here is my idea from the thread with a few changes: The police set where the policemen fill up the cars is connected to the fire theme, since the gas station is on fire, which is connected to the pizzeria, as the gas station was close to the pizzeria and the pizzeria got on fire, and there was a guy who got burned, so it's linked to the medical theme, which is linked to the tow truck, because the ambulance was broken down, which is linked to the trains, since the tow truck needs to be sent over from another place, which is the harbor, so it connects to the harbor theme, but the harbor was partially destroyed from a boat that crashed, so it needs to be repaired by the construction theme and street light truck guys. So back to the topic of this thread, what are YOUR opinions about a connected CITY theme? Does it sound like an excellent idea, a terrible idea, or an OK idea?

The 60026 has City Pizza, and I remember the buses having Transport logos. The 2009 sets had a workshop branding. And everyone know trains have the arrows. There's also CITY Service from the 60054, and CITY Towing in the 60056. Also, there's CB City Bank, and Tele (a telecom company, I believe) in the 60084. This is how I believe it: CITY is an intergalactic (they're the ones who funded the Classic Space and the other space sets) mega company with multiple branches, like Service, Towing, Bank, Tele, Cars, OctanShellExxon and other divisions. They're also the franchise owners for Toys R Us stores in the LEGO world, operate the trains, and own the LEGO stores. However, there's one thing that's not owned by them: the government. The government is a separate thing. So the elections aren't rigged, which is good.

That sounds pretty good! And the police set is linked to the firemen set, which is linked to the pizzeria, which is linked to the medical theme by way of a sick guy, which is linked to the tow truck since the ambulance is broken down, which connects to the trains, as the tow truck needs to be sent over by the cargo train.

Will there be any UCS-sized City sets?
ilikeboomerang1 replied to YellowCorvette's topic in LEGO Town
And the Launch and Load Seaport. That also had more than 1000 pieces. -
I believe the 30347 is one of those like 5532 and 30221. Basically a car that's a bit blocky.
-
I like the Police sets. They remind me a lot to the older Police sets, because of the black and white coloring. I like this coloring way more than the blue and white.

As I said before, I think the Fire Engine is one of the Exclusives. So that might be why it's not there.
-
Wait, I was wrong. The 60111 is the Unimog Fire Truck. The 60112 is the Fire Engine. It has a hook-and-ladder and a small house.
-
Then you mean something like 60003 Fire Emergency?
-
You mean the 60111 Fire Engine? I think it's one of the two Shop Exclusives, along with ''Crook's Hideout with New Corner BURP'', as I like to call the 60131.
-
Well, you're right. But one can still dream...
-
As I said before, I would like for the Landmarks to be Minifig-scaled. After all, who WOULDN'T want a Minifig-scaled Sydney Opera House, Tower Bridge, or Big Ben?
-
I would like that, if they did ancient (or just old) Architecture sets, they would do the Berlin Wall. Don't know why, but I think it would be great.
-
Let's see: Police Station: 7744 and 6398 (I can't decide) Fire Station: 6571 Garage: 6394 and 4207 Hospital: 6380 Airport: 10159 Gas Station: 6472/6397 Train Station: 4513, 60050 and 2150.

Help with identifying parts/sets!
ilikeboomerang1 replied to WhiteFang's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It might also be Mega Bloks. -
Well, you're right. I can do that.
-
I hope it's not that piece, but instead it's hinged.
-
This has interested me since I saw the Fire Station, so here's the question: Is the Fire Station hinged? It seems like it, because how else would it have one section straight and the other two curved?
-
Yes. That's actually what I meant. Or, you can have both and make it a Battle of the Parking Garages!
-
I feel that you could ''improve'' your roads by using the new DBG 32x32 roads. Also, why don't you sell your Metro Park & Service Tower and instead buy the City Garage? It fits way better with the new 6-wide cars.
