Great Idea with wheel lifting. Everyone thought that drifting is possible just with RC motors and you showed that it is possible also with L motors! Really nice video! Max -

[WIP] Rebrick Porsche
MaxSupercars replied to JamesJT's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The body looks great so far... I like the version with 4 XL motors. 2 L motors would be a good compromise, but they are probably too long for this config. I would place them in front of rear axle. Or is this place reserved for something other? Suggestion: buy the LiPo battery. You will see how much more performance you become. LiPo is very powerfull... Once you become it you will ask how could you live without it... :) Max -

[MOC] Top Fuel Dragster

sm 01, your solution with differential is really interesting and it will be sure usefull for something. But as it was said it's not LSD. LSD should be open at start and locks when one wheel slip occurs. Your solution locks the semiaxles at start and give possibility to open it when they are not driven... So even by cornering your semiaxles are rotating at same speed because they are driven so you got one solid axle when driven. When they are not driven, the semiaxles could rotate at different speed. Here nice Example of Lego LSD: Max -
Very well done helicopter. Nice details. And motorisation of such a model is also great. Very good work... :) Would it not be the medium motor sufficient for the main rotor? Max

Nicely reversed... The old GT40 in dark blue would be great... :) Max
