Very cute. But I would put tiles on all the concrete ways instead od plates and place the airport hall not so near to runway. Max

MOC - Bp 20-67 Inter City passanger car
MaxSupercars replied to hitechhun's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Yes it looks better now. BTW... don't you have the new transparent 1x2 or 1x4 bricks without bottom tubes? They are clear and look better. http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3065#T=P http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3066#T=P Max -
MOC - Bp 20-67 Inter City passanger car
MaxSupercars replied to hitechhun's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Really neat car with realistic details. I like the door opening mechanism a lot. I steal it for my MOCs... :) 2 Things: - I would make the car longer if you got enought space on your layout. - You can minimize the studded look of windows by replacing of one of 1x4 LBG plates with 1x4 tiles in each window. Amazing... the longest train set a have ever seen... :) Max

This looks such realistic. Really great work! Max

Nice, but why did you put the bars on the same side? It is not so realistic. Otherwise good work... :) Max

Donat, I know that trams very well :) I'm now currently working on the articulated version K8D5 which was renovated and became new technics and modern doors. My is 6-wide because of all my trains, so I can not implement all the small details, but it looks also very good because of the simple box design... :) Max

Really neat. These Trams will today be replaced with newer ones in countries where they were delivered. I really like the shapes of the MOC. It would be great if you could make a video of it... :) Max

I don't know if it was posted anywhere here, but it seems that Lepin has made a very good copy of the Porsche: Max

[PRESS RELEASE] Announcing 10254 Winter Holiday Train
MaxSupercars replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Town
This set is very overpriced. For 90€ you got motorized 60051 with PF and a lot of parts for own MOCs! The only interesting are the big red wheels... Max -
WIP-LDD-MOC: Westbahn Stadler KISS (Dosto)
MaxSupercars replied to Ashi Valkoinen's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Donat nice work, but I would use curved slopes for the front for the more modern look, also for the price of less detail in livery stripes. Max -
Automated Rotary Railroad Dumper + Automated Conveyor Belt Loader
MaxSupercars replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Train Tech
The most ellegant solution for me is this: The mini LA (linear actuator) integrated in the bottom of chassis moves the magnet in and out, thus separating the loco magnet from wagon magnet for a remote controlled shunting. Example: Max -
Ausini and Gaobole (GBL) trains (clone brands from China)
MaxSupercars replied to Hugo's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Sorry for bumping this topic, I have found the Ausini train in local toy store. What for experience do you got with this Ausini train motors? I bought just for test the Ausini military jeep and the motor is too loud and the driven axle slips inside like there would be clutch integrated and the car does not move. Any experience with Ausini train motors? Thanx. Max -
1024x768 is the max allowed image resolution as I know... Max

[MOC] Star Wars First Order Battle Tram
MaxSupercars replied to davesbrickroom's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Yes... it would be nice diorama... Jedi encounter... :D Really cool color scheme. I got also some of this red glasses. I love them. :) Max -
OK, perfect. It looks much better... :) Max

@Beck, make the doors rotated in 90°. For Ex. 1x4 dark blue plate, on top place 1x2 translucent brick on the left side and 1x2 dark blue brick on the right side, and on top most 1x4 dark blue tile. If you rotate it in 90° you become pretty doors. You can replace any mentioned part with wider part to make connection behind door with any SNOT part. Then you need no dark blue SNOT because everything is hidden. If you can not imagine it I can post a picture for you... :) Max

I really like the trams in this topic... I would post one mine here later when I'm finished... Then we have pretty collection in 1 topic. :) Max

Yes, nice and realistic passenger cars. I like the tall realistic roof. I would change the doors. In 2 bricks wide space you can make nice custom doors with window in the middle. Put them also a little bit inside to make more interesting effect. Max

[TC10] Classic Locomotive
MaxSupercars replied to Samer's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Samer you have stolen my entry. :D :D :D Joke ;) Max -
Maybe I have overseen it, but in fact the contest entry model must not be Technic, because there is no limitation of studded parts. So I can make full studded steam locomotive where pneumatic cylinders drive the wheels... Max

Really good looking Thomas. I always thought that the locomotive got fictional design, but I see that it was created by original locomotive. Max
