Thank you guys... :) No problem Jeroen. I'm looking forward for your DB11. :) @Didumos69: No modifications in gearbox. You have to only remove the nice round curved panels that cover the middle console. I haven't built the upper body of Porsche so maybe you have to do some "cosmetic" changes in the upper body but sure nothing critical. Maybe someone can check it... :) But I have used the free unused spaces. Max

I couldn't resist and I have built the base of Porsche, from online instructions from my free parts. I have made the mechanism to prevent of reverse gear engaging when other than first gear is selected. - You can engage the reverse gear only when 1. gear is selected - You can engage neutral any time like in the real car - When the reverse gear is engaged there is no possible to shift the gears So everything like it should be. I have also used the 2x4L liftarm to prevent from cycling shifting (solution from supertechnicman) Max

Yes... IMHO this module got the highest value in this set. It will be a lot spoken about negatives here... The gearbox is simple, suspension too, steering too... but this module is truly masterpiece... other earlier solutions from AFOLs were not so compact like this. So big compliment for designer... Max

[WIP] 1963 Corvette
MaxSupercars replied to JamesJT's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes, with video it is a good idea. Very simple and quick way how to document the building process. I like your coupé a lot. I love the shapes of the rear windows, rear taillights, the interior. I like that you have integrated the suspension in front and at the rear detail like the live axle. Then the headlight... Really oustanding model with a lot of realistic details... :) Max -

James! Really great looking car in this scale! I like how have you used the new "seat-panels" specially for doors. It really copy the shapes of real car and is inspiration to use also for other cars... Great work! Max -
OMG! Such a bunch of information! Probably the longest and most complex review on EB?:) Very well done Jim! Excelent work. Great pictures and videos. Thank you! Max :)
