Oh no! Support incoming! Nice little build. I like the alien, the posing, and how it's kind of bursting off the bounds of the base. For me, it gives the action a bit more vitality. Not sure if that was planned or not but it worked out!

Just wanted to see if it affected scoring in any way. Seems we are safe so long as we use predominantly our colors/scheme. Thanks!

As I'm now getting into picking color for a design, I have some questions as to how much 'by the book' these choices should be. When it says for Kawashita the 'primary color is dark bluish grey, with red and dark red accents' should I literally be building primarily in dark bluish grey? As opposed to, say, building something 50% or more in one of the reds, or even primarily one of the reds? On the same token, when it says 'Bluish grey, dark bluish grey and black can be freely used for greebles and details' and white is not included, for Kawashita does that mean we really shouldn't be using white at all? It probably isn't that strict, but the rules could be read that way, so I was just wondering if choices like that would affect scoring - as well as simply my desire to 'build it the Kawashita way.' Oh, in this case, talking about a vehicle/ship only. Landscapes would of course be open to more colors.

For Science! Cool little build. I agree the small wheels really add something in this case.

I like the story and how you expanded on the setting with the Windblades. Cool ship and even better that you included some play features. I enjoyed looking at those as well as the added equipment. Makes Kawashita proud!

Nice! I particularly like the titled wall and the action in the scene implied by the two shots.

Cool truck! Suspension in particular. And a face determined to haul away that dirt no matter what! I agree - it would be fun to play around with.

Nice micro build! I really like the style too. I'm kinda getting a Super Cobra vibe - all that flying through tight caverns at high speed. Good job.

Foreboding landscape! I'll be curious to see what is found there next week.

I'm digging the tracks. Maybe smooth out the ones under the ladder? Then they would be only where the probe has stepped. Good job. I like Marden also.

Nice little build. I too like the sensor array. Perhaps a few of the components in grey would help them stand out a bit more and be visually differentiated, although I admit I am partial to the all-white scheme.

Welcome! Cool minifig.

Dagobah would be nice. I'd like it for all of the fauna that I clearly do not have when I am trying to build a scene. Same I suppose for Felucia - I'd buy a nice set of either if they came with a healthy amount of fauna.

Is Millenium Falcon 7965 still the one to get?
aeralure replied to grevens's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'd definitely buy the NISB Falcon at half retail. The new one coming out most likely will not change too much about the design fundamentals - some improvements to be sure, different radar dish - but you'd be really happy with the 7965 for that price and can always mod it a bit yourself. -
I'd like a line of lightsaber hilts as well. There was a successful run for this on Lego ideas (10,000 supporters) and they opted not to go with it. I even wrote them about a week ago and told them I thought that it was a mistake on their part, especially given the support the ideas apparently has. There's some nice designs out there so we can build them ourselves, but this is a line I'd have gotten a few of. I'd also like a few sets of various locations in the Jedi Temple. Council room for one, a sliver of the Archives. Couple other places. There's a number of Jedi missing as far as minifigures are concerned, so this could address that as well. A few things related to the Senate. There's some minifigures I'd like to see (Padme in her more usual Senate attire with hair piece, Satine Kryze, there's quite a few actually). Maybe they could be Battle Packs for the most part (Senate Battle Pack? ). A small build of something to portray a scene with the senator minifigure involved, likely mirroring something from a given episode of the Clone Wars animated show (watching that now for the first time - love it! - as compared to the PT which I don't). Possibly the occasional larger set that might build a ship from a given culture. Probably planned, and we don't know what they would be yet, but I'm hoping for new Rebels sets, including one that features older Ahsoka and Rex. My slight issue with Lego sets is that there are really talented builders out there that to my eye beat the official Lego designs most of the time (many of you that do that feature your work here). I do wish Lego would embrace a bit more SNOT (I recall a comment about a really nice X-wing design that was sent to them not having enough studs visible) and a little more advanced design. This is another topic though.

Nice work! I like it a lot. You did really well with limited resources. I'm in the same boat, having just returned to Lego myself. I hope I can add something to the boards at some point as well. Welcome back!

I too would like some more. I disliked the PT quite a bit once it came out, and pretty much had written it off for years. This all changed though when I watched Rebels recently and was then inspired to watch more (as well as find out who Ahsoka was) so went back to watch the Clone Wars animated series. Love the time period now. For at least that area of the PT timeline, the show far excels (for me) beyond the movies. It's primarily where I focus, actually, so I'd be quite happy to see more done with it.
