  1. WHOAH!!! Awesome style of the characters!!
  2. @Lazer I'm not sure if Vlad will respond quick enough to not hold back from building, so I'll go ahead and say the red dragon knights are indeed Shadowmere soldiers, so that would make it lore friendly. By my knowledge, Abyssian is in the hands of the Resistance, but it is still being besieged by the Spire. Shadowmere is the Resistance's greatest stronghold. Btw, I'm also busy with a GoH moc, cheers!
  3. @LEGODalekbuster523 You are missing the point. Just2Good is a medium, through which an insider voices the information that he has. It is highly unlikely that said insider provides wrong information, because it is a person involved in the very development of sets. What's more: let's say that person says there will be a set 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 for a wave. The only way that this does not happen, is if there are one or more sets of this list not going into production, due to a marketing decision on a superior business level. In other words, what we end up getting vs what we were promised can theoretically only get worse (granted we started with the full list from the beginning).
  4. I think in columns (e.g. picture 2) is the way to go, from an engineering point of view it makes more sense, since it drains naturally that way, and I think it would look better too.
  5. Totally agree, intriguing piece of lore, I'd love to read some more about the Inani! The build itself is great and I really like the functionality of it, as well as the concept, very original!
  6. Looks really nice in the flesh, the windows and framework are even better with the printed Elves glass! Like others already said: it's surprising how many features the interior accommodates, it has a lot of character! On top of that, great story! Some recommendations, then. For the roof, I think the one where they face each other in pairs looks best and makes the most sense. The older BURPs look quite horrible indeed, very unnatural shaping and also recessed studs, so they require a lot of work covering them with slopes and tiles. However, the newest BURP actually looks perfectly suitable for use in MOCs, due to its more natural shape, so you don't have to put nearly as much effort in making the cover. If you want more advice for the base, just ask!
  7. @LittleJohn, @Blufiji, @Mpyromaxos, @Isundir Thanks for the positive feedback, cheers!
  8. Only retailers were invited, probably as a consequence of last year's event: coverage by Brickset (among others) was too detailed... Don't worry though, Nuremberg Toy Fair starts February 1st and most likely there will be (picture) coverage from that.
  9. Here you go: http://brickset.com/parts/4293088
  10. 5004911: Crafting Kit Not sure what it is exactly, or how it is played, or what the exact contents are... Nice keychain, I can see some nice shields (Medusa, red dragon, forbidden powers, Classic Space!!) in the artwork, so I hope any of those will be included.
  11. As far as I know, every item is exclusively produced for Lootcrate, but sometimes the exclusivity after release is questionable: article. Yeah, most likely nothing containing actual bricks.
  12. I am always pleased to see Ninjago MOCs of such high quality; beautiful work! I love the flow throughout the model, mainly by virtue of the large golden katana and the curves of the deck. The spine that carries through is icing on the cake!
  13. Yes, that's definitely the case. I really hope that the black shields with Goblin King insignia are printed... I want them so bad! If nothing else, at least a round 1x1 printed tile with that symbol will appear in the Goblin Village set.
  14. Whenever you build magic stuff, it always has some original twist to it! This is another good example of that. This creepy, yet "not entirely menacing" creature is so weird and mysterious, I love it! Very neat entry!
  15. The posing of the ambushmen (especially with the capes) is epic! Aside from posing, I like the fig combos in general. Nice mushrooms as well, though personally, I wouldn't have placed them on bare rock. Intentional or not, the straight ridge with the row of flowers on top looks like some kind park or flower garden, which would make sense for Avalonia. Anyway, good job!
  16. Thanks for the reminder! It appears that I still have unregistered freebuilds from almost a year ago...
  17. Nocturnus welcomes all who have chosen the path of darkness! Certainly, no problem! I'll be happy to see your swamp hut!
  18. I also built the 70621: Vermillion Attack, very satisfied with my purchase. The minifigs look great, although I haven't really found other good combos with the torsos and legs, so far. Really complete, solid piece of scenery with a perfectly working play feature. I still have a very modest collection of parts, so I am pleased with the abundance of useful colours, especially the (Dark) Reddish Brown and Gunmetal Grey. My only critique is the lack of a spare Time blade. Not only would I love to get two for looks, but it's a small piece that could easily go missing during play, for example. Btw, for anyone wondering: it is possible to fit the new Vermillion helmet (only the one with translucent snakes) over a beard:
  19. Something came to mind when imagining what a One man band could be like.. Anyone remember Friendly Felix, from LEGO Universe?
  20. Thanks, guys! The general has the head of Psyclone, from Ultra agents: http://brickset.com/minifigs/uagt008/Psyclone-with-Parachute-Backpack-and-Attachments The messenger's torso is from Stone Army Cole (black arms swapped for gunmetal grey ones): http://brickset.com/sets/5004393-1/Cole And yes, the Dragon Knights helmet is a great piece!
  21. The black 2x2 is stickered and originates from a Mars Mission alien vehicle. The helmet with print is from World Racers. The multisloped brick is actually from an Atlantis set: http://brickset.com/sets/8056-1/Monster-Crab-Clash
  22. Z already gave an answer before you asked the question :
  23. Matador would fit the 'specific nationality' or 'sort of historic' slot and TV remote suit guy would be very appropriate for the 'bizarre number 13' slot, at least those are my guesses.
  24. I got black Vladek helmets in the mail last Friday, so I was able to complete my unit of the Zotharian (GoH) military: The structure, from front to back: General of the Zotharian army Commander of the First Division (right), Commander of the Second Division (left) 4 veteran swordsmen, 1 messenger 12 regular swordsmen General Zeruko Urima. All hierarchical levels share the same insignia. (Ninjago Cole all the way! ) I think that I have enough soldiers for now, it's sufficient to man a small fortress, have a medium sized battle scene, or do a military ceremony.
  25. @Umbra-Manis Nice, thanks! If there is anything craftable in the Nexo universe, it would have to do something with Nexo powers or weapons, I think. Since there is the 3 shield combo piece already, I doubt there will be yet another way of combining Nexo powers. Maybe it's all about weapons, like this set: 853111: {Exclusive Weapon Training Set}? Or, like suggested with the Minecraft battle pack, it's about character creation? I'd be all in for that! Great! Now, I have good hopes that General Garg appears in the summer wave, completely in black would be the perfect treat!
