  1. Just ordered the all the extra pieces needed minus some technic bits I had in stock, ended up at a around €50. Only the two lime 32184 are somewhat HTF, so if you can find a workaround that would be great for other builders My project for this weekend, can't wait to see the improvements
  2. And it’s looking fantastic too https://www.instagram.com/p/CFxKYoipsPu/?igshid=vgqjbayz6ewi
  3. Yeah, LEGO changed the 20t bevel gear about 5 or 6 years ago and the teeth seem to rub against liftarms. There was a topic about the issue on this forum a while ago.
  4. I’m aware, but if I’m going to do something, might as well do it right Plus, I’m going to be waiting a while anyway before I can do my next project. Lego Bricks and Pieces are sadly not that fast... (btw you mentioned a page or two back that you needed the new 2x3 panel, they are available now )
  5. @vectormatic Yes, you can change out the hubs for the new black ones without problems. You only need to add two lbg towball axles.
  6. Thanks a lot! I’m really considering taking my Sian apart for these mods. Or... I also have a second one NIB, which should have less color inconsistencies.
  7. Even better, the full two pages of instructions.
  8. I've seen it since around August, I believe. And to be honest it didn't show all the time, it went on and off. But I didn't notice any change in delivery time, before and after (or during, I guess) covid. That one order that shipped after a week was in October, it was a pretty big one too. I was really surprised how fast they shipped it out, because that's the first and only time that has happened to me.
  9. It has been hit and miss for my orders. I have had one that shipped within a week and arrived the next week but I've also had to wait a month for it to be shipped. The message has been there for months, it isn't something that just showed up randomly.
  10. The insides of the pin are more square, so bar shaped pieces don't fit inside anymore.
  11. Except when you look at the details, and see the manu differences. The 488 and 458 are incredibly similar cars in real life as well, so that could explain some of the similarities. I’ll wait and see what it looks like beneath the panels to make a judgment though.
  12. They’re not a knockoff in the same way a Fiat is not a knockoff of a Mercedes. They’re a competitor to LEGO, not a ripoff company. Cada designs their own sets, or in this case licenses them from other people. No work is being stolen here.
  13. No, it’s a different car. This is modeled after a Ferrari 458 and the Cada one is modeled after a Ferrari 488 Pista.
  14. @astyanax Really liking your mods. The rear end looks fantastic! The new bonnet is a big improvement as well. Any chance you could share the LDraw file?
  15. It’s a Chinese set, looks like an original design. I see a few things that were inspired by the Cada C61042W by Brunojj1, but nothing else looks similar.
  16. It's quite simple. Works on almost every MOC I have tried it on.
  17. So I just finished this an hour ago after three long but very enjoyable days of building. Wow! What a masterpiece this is. I will be honest, I held off on building this because it required a bunch of painted or off brand pieces (I went with the former), but it was 100% worth building. The building style is incredible with a ton of stuff I had never seen. I've built a lot of supercars but this surprised me multiple times. The gearbox is pretty much flawless. First gear has almost no resistance and the car can just roll along across my entire desk with a single push. The bodywork is very clean, almost no holes and the ones it does have are just hidden by the black color, so it's not noticeable. And lastly, the gear stick is genius and the first time I have seen a ''remote'' gearbox done right. The fact that the whole drivetrain is built transversally makes it even cooler and more impressive. I do have a few complaints or nitpicks: The front is too flat, where the real NSX is very curvy. I am not a fan of the liftarms over soft axles technique. This also made the frunk quite fragile While almost everything is rock solid, the gears to the steering wheel could be braced better. I am no expert, but shouldn't a RHD car have the gears on opposite side of a LHD car?
  18. Nice! If you want a solution with just slightly less play you should use these: It is just very very slightly thicker but still fits between the knobs. Just tried it for myself, there is almost zero play. In fact, most of it comes from the loose 1/2 pin but you might be able to figure something out with a 3L axle + stud for example
  19. That looks great. Very authentic. My only complaint is the headlights, they looks kind of weird when they’re popped up.
  20. To be fair I didn't say anything about downloading, so my statement is still correct Anyway if you need them, feel free to PM me or just make a throwaway account and download them directly from CaDA.
  21. Well they’re not exactly on CaDA’s site (from what I could find), but their official Facebook page shared all six of the PDFs. Feel free to look, you don’t even need an account I can link them directly here, I have no problem with it. I just wasn’t sure if someone else would have.
  22. Well yes you can use the GT3 wheels, but they are insanely expensive on Bricklink. And no, they don’t work. They leave the entire servo motor out. You can still shift with the little knob in the engine bay though.
