  1. It's honestly really simple to do. This is how I did it: Of course the rotor and the 1x4 calliper are missing in the picture, but you get the idea.
  2. They fit fine. I’ve got the Lamborghini Sian wheels under mine. It steers just fine, and I added brake callipers similar to the Bugatti and Lamborghini as well.
  3. I have built both, although the red supercar using real LEGO. If you don’t mind the other brand, go for the red supercar. It looks a lot nicer, it doesn’t just sit still on your shelf, the functions are a step up and work perfectly. And like amorti said, if you don’t like it you can just sell it.
  4. LBG has almost no readily available panels. Some of the ones you used are crazy rare or don’t even exist. I’d just do it black tbh. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catID=154&catXrefLevel=0&colorPart=86&catType=P Especially check out the 17/18 panels and 5/6 panels. 1/2 panels don’t exist at all. I’ve already got the black suspension arms and black arches painted by a friend. I was going to use them for the NSX but if this gets instructions I will use them for this one.
  5. They are indeed required to insert a bar or soft axle into the pin. The standard cada pin probably doesn’t quite fit, like LEGO’s 3L friction pin.
  6. They’re still being used in sets, so should not be an issue
  7. The speed build is nice, but it’s difficult to build it using the video. Not impossible, but definitely not for unexperienced builders. Also, there are a few pieces that LEGO does not make. PN 15100 in red and obviously the 8 curved panels. There is also a completely new part, a 1x2 liftarm with two axle holes, except thick. Obviously easy to replace though.
  8. I would love to see a Type R done right. +1 from me. Although a classic VW Golf would also be nice to see in Technic. I don’t think that has been done yet.
  9. I must point out that the Centenario and this red supercar are not comparable. Bruno and Tlego signed different contracts. Bruno’s model is exclusive to cada whereas Tlego’s is allowed to sell the instructions. They might not have uploaded the Centenario instructions because of that reason. Only time will tell if the red supercar will have digital instructions available, since this is their first “fan” built exclusive model.
  10. Check out the wheels of the Land Rover 42110. If you use a pair of pullies with 3 pins, you get the same offset as the normal ones.
  11. Uploading the instructions publicly, modified or original, is just as bad as what Lepin was doing imo. If you have them, great, but keep them to yourselves. If or when CaDa uploads them themselves, I wouldn’t have a problem with sharing them. You can buy the model for $240 from Cada or around $140 directly from China, you’ll have a parts list at the end of book 6 and the instructions to build the model. Or, you can try your luck and ask CaDa themselves if they want to send you the PDF files.
  12. Yes I personally don’t like the RX7 that much either. Having some rare pieces that I believe I mentioned will discourage even more people from building it. Your NXS was definitely better, and I have plans to build it as well. But I would prefer building this one
  13. For the rear lights you could use solid red versions that LEGO does produce: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=13971&colorID=5&in=A I can’t see what pieces you meant for the headlights though. Which pieces do you mean? If you do create instructions some day, this might be the first car I would consider ordering off brand pieces for. I said it before but this is your best yet.
  14. I believe these wheels are from one of the knockoff Hoonicorn sets. The tyres are identical to the Porsche, Bugatti and Lamborghini.
  15. This is the most impressive thing I've ever seen built with LEGO. Also loved the the backstory behind this ship.
  16. There were some hopeful people But it can definitely still happen of course. I suspect it would be something similar in size to the helicopter in 8433 (or even smaller):
  17. Apparently the Technic polybag 30465 is named “Helicopter”. I don’t think it’s going to be a battery box.
  18. That looks great! I am really impressed with the performance as well. If you don’t mind me asking, is this going to be a MK exclusive? I would love to build this one but I honestly cannot support MK.
  19. Definitely printed unfortunately..
  20. Is that a new 3x7 flat panel? In medium blue on the buggy and yellow on the Jeep?
  21. I’m not German either, but it seems quite generic. They have named unlicensed sets “geländewagen” before (or with that word in the name): https://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/1055603_-technic-grosser-gelaendewagen-8297-lego.html https://www.lego.com/de-de/product/4x4-x-treme-off-roader-42099 https://www.decotoys.ch/de/product_info.php?info=p2286_lego-technic--8066---gelaendewagen.html Last link is Swiss, but you get the idea...
  22. They’ve had glossy parts for years. Wheels in 2015 with 42039, for example, were glossy instead of black. Several axle connectors have become glossy instead of matte as well and none of them have broken while I have a lot of “matte” broken parts. Of course they are younger than the matte parts, so only time will tell how the new parts hold up.
  23. It doesn’t. You can move the paddles but nothing changes. Jeroen Ottens’ “PF Tribute” does have an electronic paddle shift mechanism, that works with a PF switch and a servo.
  24. I also just noticed the blue of the blue pins is totally wrong. It’s more dark grey ish. Clearly a result of photoshopping the red to turquoise.
  25. You could, but you will miss out on the genius gearbox shifting mechanism. The motors have a bit of a structural purpose so you’ll have to replace those. You can still shift with the indicator behind the engine and push it along though.
