[ESL - CH5B] Let's go to the beach
blackdeathgr replied to Maxim I's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Isn't it obvious? Bees make honey. People like honey. We like honey. And since we like honey, we like bees as well. And since we like bees, Maxim puts them everywhere!- 5 replies

Captain Rijsk's Unfortunate Day, Part 3 - Again?
blackdeathgr replied to Legostone's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Great Xebec, but what really stands out is the Dhow, with its masts. connecting pins in a flex-tube (?) is a really nice idea! Oh, and I cant wait to find out what body part will our beloved captain lose at a possible part IV... -
Very nice patrol ship with nice part use as always. And the "diving" invention was genius, especially at the pic where only the round bricks were above sea level Also lovable was the ship boat ALL those sailors ended up in

Well, since I didn't finish soon enough for Ch5D, this Mardieran Oleander (1T) fishing boat, will go fishing at next MRCA. Modeled after the greek Sakoleva (used for spongediving), she came in many sizes and different rigging, but she always maintained her key features, a trapezoid main sail and the unusually crossed masts. I am sorry about the pic quality but food always takes the better of me. Oh, and.. happy Easter people! side view A close up top down (glass sea version) Thanks for watching!

(Ch V-C) Nightmare in the Streets
blackdeathgr replied to Kai NRG's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Is it an ooze? Is it a blob? No matter what, IT'S ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! People beware! Even in dry land one can never be safe nowadays! I really like all those horrified poses those poor minifigs take!- 12 replies

[COR - Apr FB1] Crabber's Rock, Port Woodhouse (LDD)
blackdeathgr replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I am very glad you are both capable with LDD as well as with real bricks and I find this MOC gorgeous! Especially the tidal change is an interesting idea and it really sets an example. I wouldn't call that a plantation rather than a commercial building, just as a fisherman's shack would be in my ledger.- 10 replies

Great ships and battle! I especially like the white (Mardieran) vessel, the sea and these bed sheets full of stars (i am a real fan of them)!

[CH 5 - Cat D] Exocet flight

A really nice entry!!! THOSE FISH ARE ADORABLE!!!!!!! Cant stop looking at them!!! Also the sea is nicely built (but the rendering is somewhat strange). -
[Ch V Cat C] The Kraken Meal
blackdeathgr replied to Tezclatipoca's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice debris and some dramatic posing there! I was also confused about the gray baseplate but the more I see it, the more it grows on me, as it resembles the somewhat murky waters of north Germany (and other real places as well). Sir Stig view on that (beautiful Sin City cartoonish effect) is also credible and it gave me lots of ideas for future black/gray MOCs with colored minifigs. That's why I love that forum. Lots of incredible ideas, building styles and opinions that rock! -

Nice one! When I saw the first pic, I said "why on earth would he use such a fat base?". But upon seeing the second pic, it all made sense Nice MOC and... minors please close your ears... keep drinking!!! -
Nice one! But that skeleton over there is the reason I don't frequent Wednsdaeighs near me!!!

[ESL - CH5B] Death of Henri La Brickwall
blackdeathgr replied to Sir Stig's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Excellent work on both paintings and I so love this idea of yours. On the build side, I also like the water technique, the bush-y tree and the small cannon emplacement. Also when I got the zombie pirate minifig, I was struggling to think some ways to use that torso of his for a "regular" minifig. You made it so easy with your use of it in this MOC! -
Hahahaha! If you could make a stop motion video out of these photos it would be hilarious! I can't stop thinking of how funny those "two-round plate-y" soldiers would move by jumping around! Also kudos for helping your team!
