  1. Some ideas to be considered/elaborated/discarded: 1) an octopus-like Kraken (a'la Grayjoy crest) surfacing from 2-3 wavy lines (one under the other, i.e. the sea) OR 2) a ship on the aforementioned "wavy" lines OR 3) an island with 1-2 palm trees OR 4) something that involves a saber or an era appropriate monocular I could write endlessly but these are the most prominent ones in my mind. Eagerly awaiting for your ideas fellow BoBSers!!!
  2. Congratulations to everybody! It was a really funny contest!
  3. Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! You can name it, "the rainbow villa" btw Nice design and it's always a bonus when it has an interior content, Phred!
  4. Woohoo! A nice vessel design! And since we lack some info on the Natives side, moar Natives builds everybody please!
  5. Jaw-dropping! The color choice is magnificent!
  6. An imposing building! And of course it was Corrington who discovered the whole loaning thing first. Or was it those greens?
  7. Very nice irregular landscaping and exceptional windmill (not that I like that external superstructure in real life though. It detracts from the picturesque scenery a bit). On a side note, crawling babies are the best! Hahahaha!
  8. A very nice and innovative MOC! We definitely need sulfur as well as silver etc! And as others have commented before me, those are some great angled photographs
  9. Great mine shaft and very nice miner minifigs choice!
  10. Ahahahahaha! Never look a gifted horse's teeth One can do with whatever fate brings him
  11. Excellent work on the fountain! Especially the part where water comes out of the skulls eye sockets is phenomenal!! (I was always wondering how a Sea Rats cultural build would look like, as I was thinking that a mere gibbet would be the pinnacle of their art . You definitely proved me wrong though)
  12. As is the case with this one, I've always liked that your fast ships' main decks are so close to sea level as they should be and have acres of sails! My only nitpicking would be that the stern is a bit plain and with "weird" (totally subjective) color choice.
  13. You sir have definitely given me a hell of a subject to read!!! History is full of surprises I presume...!
  14. Interesting indeed! I will try to hop in too. But Bregir will you be so kind and post a reminder just after the end of our current Challenge? We need to regroup then
  15. C'mon! Did I had a blind week or something? I keep missing masterpieces!!! Thanks Dee for bringing it up again! KB, great depicting everyday minifig "chores"!!! You can't build a large city just by laying on the beach though
  16. Welcome aboard Lieutenant Olivier Picard! The Brick Seas are blue (and white) and your future awaits you! But seriously, you don't need to draw a map. Just drop a bottle of (blue) ink on the map and you are done. Everything is should be blue!
  17. Nice culture building! @Brandon Stark You mean besides me admiring a great cultural object of supreme oleander craftsmanship while wooing a fine young lady at the same time?
  18. Oh, no! How I came to nearly miss that jewel is above me... It must had been due to my dislike of the color green Excellent MOC with GREAT landscaping (particularly the sea and the shore) and nice minifig action posing!
  19. IF you have a store nearby. Until then, overpriced torsos will still be lurking at BL
  20. Thanks guys and I am glad you liked her although she is not more than a humble fishing boat. The semi-ironed white tablecloth I am usually using as background, was taken this day so as to be used in its normal position at the table
  21. Thanks Bodi! This glass table at my balcony is my secret weapon as far as custom sea is concerned Thanks CB! Give it a go! Only thing I find difficult in this design, is how to build the deck at the bow section (where the deck is getting narrower).
  22. Nice idea assaulting a wooden fort!
  23. Although I am not a fan of paint on LEGO bricks, this looks detailed. Also for hands I would use white as in wearing white gloves, rather than yellow or flesh.
