Great story and that red bricks/plates as blood are a nice idea! I also like the aged (and dangerous) pier Oh, but my favorite was the way that "black-coat" held his knife behind his back!!!!!

Excellent part use plus an interesting theme to develop.I like them a lot. You can also make some cavalry units. They were very richly decorated. Also a small historical detail: jenissars were supposedly partly drafted from very young balkanians etc boys that were kidnapped, were made muslims and were taught the valors of belonging to the jenissar corps. That's why they were considered as a family

Book II, Challenge V, Category C: Historica United
blackdeathgr replied to Henjin_Quilones's topic in Guilds of Historica
I am ecstatic! All those builds! And how beautiful and lovingly created all of them are! I liked the eagle and the throne room the most and as far story is concerned, I also like the twist with the necromancer picking the wrong helmet. It's photo-transformation into a lifeless skeletal body is phenomenal. Once again, great job.- 29 replies

A secret meeting [Free build - OL]
blackdeathgr replied to blackdeathgr's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Hahaha, Thanks for your advice and No good will come indeed! The cracked floorboards are supposed to look like ones you find in a derelict house on a beach but I don't know if I "nailed" them exactly (and aren't looking like termite-eaten ones) . Regarding tan plates and tiles used for sand (I just love sand), I too, have spotted the problem and I am slowly but steadily building up my stash of relevant bricks . Imagine that my first (AFOL) beach, looked like that . Off to bigger and better sandy beaches then! (Off to Crete! ). Dear master shipbuilder Bodi thanks and cg on your ranking at the last challenge! These are indeed dire times we are living in... muhahahaha! The stream was a last minute addition and the straight line bank is a bit awkward but didn't have the resources to alter its path . The bulky "cross" is indeed a tomb, either the previous owner's as you implied OR one of Highwayman's lackeys . Anyway, with the total imagination gathered in this game by it players, the sky is the limit as far as imagination goes!- 5 replies

Only a few days after the arrival of some Hades priests in Breshaun, a messenger, with the help of a shady local, was sent to meet a famous highwayman, living in the outskirts of the city. What's the purpose of that meeting and how will the assassin respond? Stay tuned! A secret meeting inaugurating the new era of my BoBS builds, titled "Theocracy". (Sory about the pics but our photographing mobile is on vacation mode and I was too excited to wait for it to come back . Maybe upon returning I will photograph the moc again and post better photos). Don't you love that new Highwayman minifig??? And don't you also hate the new pricing as well? C &C always wanted and as always, thanks for watching!

Too Much Monkey Business
blackdeathgr replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I will only say one thing and one thing only: That Lady Asma surely has the looks but is very devious, so fellow Pontellians, beware!!! -
Nice one, especially the way you widened the hull and its colorful theme If I were you (and had the respective bricks), I would have continued that dark gray line (the one the prefabs have) and would have added some rudimentary sails. Even paper sails do the trick as far as we have all noticed. Nevertheless our Navy grows strong at a steady pace and this is something we definitely need

[COR - ChVE - Part 1 and 2] Mysteries on Cascadia
blackdeathgr replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
A nice story (coupled with Ayrlego) that makes reading fluent and regarding the builds, I especially like the cut-out waterfall, the trees and the lovely tent! Oh, great idea at a night shot too (although slightly more light would have made it look ten times better)! Off topic, I would suggest that every collab would be posted in a single thread, as having them separately, breaks their continuity I believe, especially with the tons of new content we add nearly every day. -

[OL - CH5E] The Conquest of Paradise
blackdeathgr replied to Kolonialbeamter's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Your builds and stories that go hand to hand, never ceases to amaze me! And that brick statistics are always interesting -
A nice collaboration guys! Splendid builds all of them, coupled with an intriguing story! @Gideon Care to elaborate on the ceramic jars pieces that lay on top of the pyramid? They are nearly identical to some jars found on excavations across greco-roman sites and I could possibly find some use for them

Exactly that. On the other hand, the Silent Mary was a standalone theme/set, but that's because it is licensed and coupled with the current movie I believe. Technically a pirate lover can benefit from various ongoing themes (ninjago, creator, Moana, even city) but you either need a big wallet or you need to sell all the vehicles etc from each set and keep the pieces of...piratical interest.

You can always join a virtual LUG Cpt Dee. I believe it works the same (same benefits etc), only in the realm of internet (via its own webpage, forum etc)

Lovely! Ready for a LEGO minifig wargame! I would suggest to break the flat white a bit with some other color but it oozes classic just as it is now! P.S. Great Napoleonic torsos btw!

Hello again Keymonus! A hell of a story and nice selection of minifigs. If you have some more time, you can always try elaborating on the ground (some terrain irregularities maybe) but it is also fine the way it is now. And it is true that we want some hardened men in our colonies, so once again we welcome you in our King's colonies!
