[OL - FB] Emile's Smelly Situation
blackdeathgr replied to KotZ's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Great photos and quite a story. I quite love that head choice for Emile. So stern and Chuck Norris-like !! As Elo previously wrote, I, too, was waiting for a bigger and more elaborate MOC but frankly, with your photos, that would be totally unnecessary in this case. Still, I would like to see a detailed harbor for the sake of "brickly" creativity some time when you have the free time needed (the other part of "writing" creativity you have more than fulfilled it!!!). I am eagerly waiting who the next victim will be! Kill 'em all -

[COR - CH5E] Hidden Beneath the Falls
blackdeathgr replied to SilentWolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Ahaaaa! That's where I've seen a native dressed in an official military uniform! I was sure I had stolen that idea from somewhere! Beautiful MOC btw (great rock and water texturing) even though I've missed it when it was first posted -
Stealing from the Rich
blackdeathgr replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I believe it is because many builder's rely heavily on their mono-block form and don't incorporate them properly in their builds. I think the key focus is to make them "unseen" at a quick glance, however difficult that may be. And people, don't forget, many of us grew with these raised baseplates!!!Anyway, your (raised) baseplate builds are always a pleasure to see- 11 replies

Nice one!!! Action scenes are always fascinating when built with LEGO and so are your numerous mini-ships!! That raised base plate also works wonders for the MOC!- 11 replies

Thanks Phred! Yeah, some LUGmates told me the same. That those 1x1 round ninjago faces look waaay too ugly. To tell you the truth, you are all right -

Oh, no! (Yet) Another meeting!!!
blackdeathgr replied to blackdeathgr's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks Cpt Wolf! King Kahuna is covered in paint, thus that fabulous 6 pack of his! To be honest the torches were a last minute addition and the native recruited bluecoat was an idea that someone in BoBS has already implemented (I believe it was of Corrish heritage) And don't worry, your amount of emojis is plenty enough Well, I am not G.R.R. Martin but I DO want to make a series out of the whole story . Regarding the fish-pole thing, I initially wanted to make that out of rope but things didn't work out the way I wanted so I gave that design a try. Feel free to borrow anything! Thanks Bodi! Hint, Hint! Ask your local Hades enclave for more info on the black hooded priest!! These mousquetaires are a detachment that guards the priesthood of Oleon (although their uniforms are way too fancy for Hades branch I think...) -
Dear King Kahuna, bravest of the island (where Astrapi is located)! On behalf of the most serene, fabulous, modest, richest, kindest... blah blah blah... (that's what King Kahuna was listening by now)... we are here to make a statement! We know that you know someone who actually knows where the elusive Artifact of Zeus is hidden! So be a good boy, play nice and do tell us where the &#@$%^ artifact is! We do need it to blackmail our Zeus brothers for some nefarious purposes but that is of no concern to you... So what do you say? The meeting II The meeting V Chief of the Village (People) And the full build, Full view

blackdeathgr replied to KotZ's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Drink to your heart's content? Well that's the real reason why Emile chose that kind of establishment! "The effects of pure booze and the secrets of its making". Also, "Be a gentleman and don't drink alone" - Only at The Eltina Courier. Your only source of sober information! -

New batch of freshly trained priests in Breshaun?? Read the full story at the Eltina Courier! - Your only source of godly divination! -
Work at the double mates! We need some good quality stones to reach the sky! (Soon at the "Eltina Courier - History at its making") Nice one Phred! I like the irregular base and the way the stones are being stacked on pallets.
-
Ahahahaha! I see rats everywhere!! Not a nice MRCA result but a rally funny mocing. Now that is a story worthy to be told at the..."Eltina Courier !!! The stories are being written before they really happen"
