Have you built it correctly? For perfect alignment the servo and the wheels must be centered while building -
[HELP Buggy Motor Battery
syclone replied to EvilEnderman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I don't know how you fried it, maybe because your battery is more powerful than mine... My receiver is also a v1 and works fine on 2000 mah battery. Are you sure it no longer works? -

How well does the steering works? To my knowledge you can't precisely control a small cylinder, but I may be wrong... The idea seems crazy , will wait for further progress -

Sorry for bringing back the life to this , but I've found that lego racers 8669 "fire spinner 360" used this system back in 2006 : I got to know this because I own this set and with recent research on Racers sets I found this. -
Can you call this LEGO?
syclone replied to Ulrik Hansen's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
For me even the models with 3rd party parts are cosidered lego models as long as the lego is the core of the model. The non available colors many times is only matter of time, maybe some day those colors will be available , no one knows Just "leg godt" -
Looks interesting, but the ladder definitely should be 2 studs wide if possible

[HELP Buggy Motor Battery
syclone replied to EvilEnderman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The battery box doesn't has anything to do, my Aspire was working on a non modified one,you need to get better batteries, with good ones ( I used Varta) it works normal, now I have cheap ones and the same problem happens, so investing in good batteries solves the problem. -
[TC10] Unimog U 400
syclone replied to syclone's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
PROGRESS: I've got a HOG. The space between the cab and the bed will be 3 studs, it is required for the mechanism of bed,the HOG and to route the pneumatics from the cabine. Will post pictures very soon (15 minutes) Unfortunately the Unimog has been cannibalized for some pieces HOG by Alaxaf, on Flickr HOG by Alaxaf, on Flickr -

LAs have more range of motion, and are more controllable. I would go with LAs, you won't need to install a compressor
