Good day! After watching truck trial videos on YouTube I decided to make my own . The digital version was finished one month ago , but I had to buy 8 55976 tires to build it IRL. It was completely designed in LDD , I was afraid to have some weak points , but it resulted being one of my best designs ever done . There have been very small changes - different colors of some parts & improvements on the rear cabin support & front suspension supports. download LDD file Bricksafe The truck can be powered with any studded battery box. The drive is done by worm gears and 8t gears. Thanks to that , even using 1x m-motor for drive it is quite powerful. The steering is done by another m-motor geared down 1:2. The front axles have different steering angle. The weak point is the chain drive which sometimes skips, acting like a clutch gear. The IR receiver is completely hidden inside. The rear suspension is pendular, and both rear axles are linked and supported by 9l links ( idea from ZBLJ's trial truck) The front axles are linked to the chassis and between them by 6l links , and linked to the body & between them by 9l links. I haven't came up with a good enough interior, but there's enough space for it. LDD file Thanks for reading, I will make a video soon

Lego Technic Help!
syclone replied to Knight3's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I am not an expert in gearboxes, but having built a few of others, all I can say is that it takes some time to understand how everything works - just like mathematics or anything else - the first time you see a something complex you don't know what to do, but as you practice, you just understand it and can solve it. It's like learning another language. -

Technic 2017 Set Discussion

I see black axles with stop on the tracked racer 6x 5x7 frames on the bmw motorcycle 4x 5x7 frames on the container transport + 8x 5x11 panels The tracked racer is really narrow, I bet that it uses a new control system. Too bad that the rear of the pullback motorcycle can't be seen The telehander uses the Arocs outriggers what hopefully will bring the prices down Is it me or the orange telehander in the container transport set uses a LBG Arocs outrigger? -

Tracked Racer looks fantastic, I love the helicopter set! And the color of the stunt truck? This will be a fantastic year! Also there seems to be no color vomit!! The transparent bent panel will work great as a headlight on a big moc -
LDD file only for truck - download parts list IMPORTANT! - The pink half liftarm must be changed to part 4263 - The rubber bands are for the steering, pass them throught the 90 degree connector and put the ends on the towballs - My laptop is slow , and LDD is glitching sometimes , so the 15l liftarm and 2l connectors aren't in place Thanks! I have never built something as long as that , the trailer is bending even with two pararrel levels uder the plates Thanks! Thanks! Thanks! I have no idea of builduing trailers , also was running out of red parts , made a compromise there If I had something to power Thanks! Thanks! LDD file in the start of this post

Good day! Still waiting for the BL order for TC10 , so here's another MOC of mine: RC European Style truck. bricksafe LDD file only for truck - download parts list Solved the problem with the battery ( created an adaptor) so now the 2000mah are powering this I was able to pull 5kg with it, but the trailer was bending a lot. For the video I have put a 3kg weight Features: drive by 2 M-motor with a 1:3 gear ratio steering by 1 M-motor with new RtC mechanism electric output (both PF and 9v) on the rear "fifth wheel" blue seats and dashboard openable doors Trailer: The ramps can be lowered and there are also supports. No many details because the main objective was the truck. I haven't made anything in LDD yet , so it will take some time. :)

Found an error : There's no more friends box, now oly followers. I had quite some people in the friends box, so that's something important on social level Also the pinned topics and normal ones are now together, this combined with bad contrast makes the browsing very difficult And as I said in my previous post , SORRY and I hope this is a temporary layout and design.

Thanks for the answer(s) , I just wanted to say that it looks bad , and shown all my remarks . Sorry if I have offended somebody with this , I understand it is a lot of work , but the fact is that it looks horrible , I hope it willl be like the original, if it is going to be more similar to how it is now I'm really dissapointed. When writing the original post I understood that the site will have minor corrections. I really hope to be able to enjoy it as before . Sorry. New remark: The notifications for quoted posts aren't separated, but it is shown like: Name, Name and Name have quoted your post.

Looks horrible. too wide for my standart screen. previous version IS WAY BETTER. no longer shows from when the user is registered and his user number. HORRIBLE!!!!! also creates spaces between lines if the "enter" button is pressed The emoticons menu was better down. Also a lot of them are missing and the order is different I HATE the new version. The downgrade IS the best option. I don't want to use this anymore. You should have asked before doing this, Checked the mobile version. VERY BAD. too hard to use. I'm out of here Checked the user menu. My eyes hurt. Somebody of the admins , please ban me , I will no longer use this new forum

I hope you will success on your search! I'm sure you will come up with something amazing as always :D How can we forget about you? That's impossible! -
Exactly what I mean, MT away from Technic isn't a good idea, everything was OK until this year, after some builds were posted in the wrong topic. Just my opinion, but if you want to do a lot of work when this can be solved a lot easier... I seen the MT sets, and they not only have detailed studded bodywork, but they have functions. Creator sets not. There is a difference that is going to be omitted and a theme ( MT) will be forgot and confused with creator

I don't think separation of the Model Team is a good idea. It is too easy to cross the line between MT and Creator. Much better would be to make this: Any MT build must contain steering. This way no separate forums required and people won't miss amazing creations that may be posted in the sculptures. I only browse the 115 and 128 forums and don't have much free time
