    I would also add more angles, The ship looks very flat. Also raise the mast higher, but its looking good so far.

    The rock work is impressive, the beach flows together very nicely. The water is awesome. I love the entire presentation and think its a great Pirate Island, my pirates would love to call that home haha.

    plenty of detail, cool looking figurehead also. It would be nice if Lego came out with a Bluecoats ship, I can only hope... Only thing I would do differently on this ship is add a deck above the cannons.

    I took advice found here and made some changes. The best change to the ship was the addition of the yellow stripe. I added 4 cannons per side, so the ship would be a contender for my SES. I changed the deck, overall I like it better then the first MOD. On the next nice day ill take more detailed pics.

    Well I modded my Black Seas Barracuda a while ago. And the other day I modded it again, added more color. Ill post that next week.

    It looks great, would be a great dragon to a large MOC. Especially if you put it with a bunch of skeleton knights.

    If you can get the Joust set for less then original price that would be great! Shipping shouldnt be too bad, but that Falcon Knight is totally worth the set! Plus it really has a lot of nice pieces. I think if castle comes back in 2016 they will do a good job. However it might also be in your interest to buy bulk grey pieces and build your own castle. You can find minifigures for decent prices on Bricklink. I bought up 20 Castle figs on bricklink 5 months back, they were $2.20 a piece which is a good price for a complete fig with helmet. I was able to buy some bulk shields also for like .30 cents a shield and some cheap .5 cent spears etc... if you hunt you can find good deals. But usually entire sets are way pricey.

    Kingdoms joust is awesome... but it depends on the price you want to pay. I would rather have joust then the raid. (Joust gives you great mini figures, horses and pieces.) You could easily buy parts and make your own medieval barn and mill. There are rumors that a new castle theme is coming out in 2016. You might just want to wait. I would wait if I was you. My only problem with buying used Lego is that the people selling them are crooks! They wanna charge up to 2 times the original price or worse. I dont go for that, plus I have other hobbies that take precedence over lego.

    NICE! I like the use of the raised baseplate. The castle has a very simple and classic Lego feel to it. I like that alot. The landscaping and road are well done. The few buildings look nice. The Orcs attacking is cool, you did a good job with this!

    Castle is my favorite theme, but Pirates are very close. I grew up as a kid of the 80s and 90s, so growing up my parents would buy me the castle and pirates sets of those years. I have most of the classic castle sets, and most of the classic Pirates sets. Minus the ships. The only two classic ships I have are the SES and BSB, Im missing the imperial flagship, caribbean clipper and el dorado fortress. Someday ill try and buy them. Thanks and glad you guys like the simple yet fun design.

    Thanks all, yea after looking at it i need to fix the surf a bit, I will find some tan pieces to make it less straight.

    My latest creation is an Imperial Fort attached to a small supply port for Imperial ships. I would have liked to add waves and cool water effects but didnt have enough trans white and blue bricks... I also ran out of blue baseplates.....     I like the classic smooth look myself. And then theres the other factor, I just dont have extra to spend on bricks to do textures.

    wow, amazing you started this soo long ago and your still at it! It is the most unique castle I have ever seen. Massive amount of bricks you have put into it. I cant wait to see the end result. Its a cool build! with tons of great interior details.

    Thanks, I would have liked to add some dark grey in the mix but sadly didnt have enough of what i needed.
