Thanks, When I was modding the ships I wanted to keep them simple, and Lego like. But at the same time wanted to add a bit more realistic qualities to them. This ship especially I had to get rid of the grey parts. But as I look at everyone elses great MODs and MOCs It gives me ideas to improve my stuff.

Dont have any dark red yet, have some of the dark grey but used it in another moc... Thanks for the tips. The black does make it hard to capture good pics with detail.

The Interior is very good, the whole MOC has a rustic feeling to it. Looks great overall.

Yes that was great! However I now must also buy hundreds of hinges haha. I enjoyed the way you presented it also. Very easy to understand, great reference pictures and it gave me Ideas for my own ship. Thank You

173D Another one of my favorite ships that I decided to modify. Now this one I turned into and Imperial Ship. Mostly because I have no imperial ships. It now has 6 cannons, a full deck, and a few other things. Hope you like it. Untitled by K R, on Flickr I took your advice and added a yellow stripe to the ship. I think it makes it look much better. Also you will notice in the above pic it now had 4 cannons and an improved deck. More pics to come in the future. 173C This is my SES that I have modified. I loved this set as a kid, and this year I decided to mod it a bit, changed some colors, added a deck and railings, gave the ship 8 cannons, made new cannons for the poop deck, and replaced the forward muskets with new chaser cannons. Thank You. I want to build another castle, but maybe ill just make some changes to this one. I dont know yet. I dont have alot of bricks, so its tough to get super creative. I have a ton of ideas, and I see the awesome castles on this forum, but dont have a whole lot of cash to dedicate to buying bricks. But I make it work, and its fun as heck! This was the 5th version I created, I might post pics in the future of the others.

I agree! The buildings in the sets are very small. But I really hope more castle themed sets come out next year. I would like to see a nice castle, and I would love if they brought the Forest men or wolf pack back! I think some nice forest men and castle sets would be great. I can only wish!

I think its an average ship. The build was very easy, the playability is good. But I dislike the open cabin, wish they used two doors. Also not a fan of the sails, they could have been bigger, and the jib sail should have been printed on both sides instead of just one. Next to my SES and BSB the ship looks small and the sails look bad, especially because the SES and BSB have such nice sails.

I would love to see a UCS castle! I really hope more castle stuff comes out again. I was not impressed with the current pirates line up...... but how could i be when i own the SES and BSB.

Hey all!! My first post! Quick background, born in 84. Have all the classic Pirates and Castle. Separated from active duty last year. Bought new house, mom sends old legos. It starts a fire and I'm creating again. 2 kids and they are loving the creations. So here is the Castle I have made. It's 34x32 (studs) and house the new blue lion Knights. HERE is the Flickr Link!
