[MOC] Alternate from 6085 Black Monarch Castle
Jreacher replied to recifaliste's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
What is that computer program you use? Is it free? and the alternate looks decent. -
+ one for the extra mast! and That is an excellent micro ship. Lots of detail for such a small ship. You did a great job!

I can add a monkey, I have three, ones on the SES and the other two are on rock island refuge.... Love the classic monkeys. As a side note, I would have loved to make the water and beach better, just lack some pieces. But Yea you will see alot of my builds have a classic feel to them. I dont have many new sets, But I got alot of classic parts Glad you guys are liking my builds so far.

The Interior is really awesome. But I agree with Dunedain, it looks like a former Imperial fort that the pirates captured. Its a heck of a nicer home then what my pirates get. My pirates only have rock island refuge... Yours have an awesome fort!

Fantastic beast!
-
excellent, cottage and whole scene is very detailed.

Yea I could never understand why all the classic pirates sets gave the Imperials such small ships. It wasnt until the 2010 imperial flagship came out that they fixed it. Sadly I was not buying lego at that time and missed out on that great ship. The current price of 600 for that ship is too much for me now.

This is my latest MOC for my Pirates theme. I wanted a decent size island for the pirates. It has a simple skull rock, treasure and lots of green. I did my best to simulate a beach with jungle background. I was thinking of adding more cannons also. I think in the future ill tear down the deck and sides and see what I can do. I think I could add 4 to each side without too many mods to the original design of the hull.

Thanks guys. I have had these all built for awhile. And already had pics of them, but finally got around to registering with these forums to show them off. Yes I love the classic lego raised baseplates.

Looks good, is there any way for you to lengthen the top sails? I think that would look good.

I am thinking about making another castle.... However I am torn on what to do. My current castle is modular, each section of the keep lifts of to view the rooms inside. However If I was to build another castle I could make the castle a little bigger If I left the back of the castle open. Basically 3 walls then a keep with an open back... or I could just make it 4 walls with a closed back and smaller... What have you guys found looks good when making castles?

This is a MOC I created after having left over grey and dark grey bricks from my castle build. Its currently a hideout for my only two wolf pack figs :( MOC Ruins by jreacher2003, on Flickr MOC Ruins by jreacher2003, on Flickr MOC Ruins by jreacher2003, on Flickr MOC Ruins by jreacher2003, on Flickr MOC Ruins by jreacher2003, on Flickr MOC Ruins by jreacher2003, on Flickr

"The Dark Ages" - How long were you away from Lego?
Jreacher replied to Duck's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My dark ages where 2002-2014, basically The last sets I bought in highschool where Star Wars sets. I then went off to the Air Force and when I got out and moved My mom sent me all my old stuff from home. And as I was going through my old Lego sets, i started building and forgot how fun it was haha. -
The detail is amazing. Those red curtains!! I have never seen anything like that before, that is an awesome detail.
