    Looks awesome, I love the car intake you used for the mouth. Also the Rapier (I assume thats what its supposed to be) looks cool.

    I love my SES, and your idea seems very cool! I dont have renegade runner, but if I did I would do something like this, make it a little bigger with more sails. I am really hoping and praying that Lego will come out with the SES for sale again, like how they brought back the BSB several years ago. I would buy another one, most likly two, then I would have 3 SES and I would make a massive ship that would rival the Imperial Flagship.

    Basically what I want. I would love to see the Kingdoms re-hashed with new designs. I would really enjoy the crusaders being brought back, and the forest men and wolf pack. I woudl rather have forest men and wolfpack then those stupid trolls and dwarves. I really dont like the fantasy stuff, dragons are ok but everything else could do without. But thats just me, I know some people love the fantasy stuff and thats fine. I just want some good old fashioned knights and bandits.

    I agree with that. As a kid I always thought he was a vampire. The only fright knight sets I have is the black dragon and basil, and a few of the smaller sets. I was 13 when these sets came out. Getting close to my dark ages.

    Actually, the kingdoms joust set was ment to be bought twice. If you have two of the sets they will combine. Then you have two towers joined by a bridge. I think the set has tons of potential. I have used it in MOCs, and I have seen other people use it in MOCs. Redhead and Redbeard did a really nice MOC with it. The pieces are also useful if you want to make a tower with it. Thats what I did.

    Most all the castle sets are pretty basic. You have 4 walls, some towers and good figs. Medieval market village, and kingdoms joust were not normal sets in the Lego castle theme. What I mean by this is that, those two sets are very nice, with special build techniques. I know that if you did not enjoy Kingdoms joust then you really would not like many of the caste sets. After all most of them are just simple towers or castles. I love classic castle, and I only build MOCs because I like to make something great. If you just want to make an awesome castle then you would be best served if you bought the pieces you wanted and built one yourself. Most the official castle builds from lego use large wall sections with window cutouts. I avoid those in my builds as much as I can, but for classic castle they go great.

    Wow, The Kingdoms joust set is actually a very well built, beautiful set with very good techniques and architecture. If you thought this was a boring and basic set then I suggest you stay away from the castle theme entirely. Maybe you should just build your own castle. That way it wont be too boring or basic for you. Maybe you can build something amazing like Bob Carney, or stuff like the other good folks here build.

    there are a couple of people with modified bounties here. I think Captain Braunsfield made a nice one using two sets... Anyways I would add 1-2 hull sections extra and add a third mast. I would also add a full deck, and raise the height of the captains cabin, and add two doors with a middle ladder. Get rid of the cannon on the back and close that off. I wish I had pictures of what i see in my mind so I could show you haha.

    I love Bob Carney Castles! His version of the neuschwanstein was so beautiful! Yours is looking very good! Hope the remaning build goes well for you, especially since the rest of the build will be very large and time consuming!! Looking good!

    I have my pirates and castle on tables. When Im not building or taking pictures I cover the tables with light weight sheets to keep the dust off.

    I would want wolfpack, and forestmen to come back. Along with the red lion knights from kingdoms. Basically I want the castle theme of the late 80's and early 90's. Just with markets and farms added. Until Lego comes back with WP, FM and RLK. Im just gonna go back into the dark ages. Because all they have out now stinks. And I refuse to buy lego that is not castle or pirates. I wouldnt mind sets based of this either. In fact if sets like this came out Id buy them.

    Thats right, I am a castle purist. I like my castles with horses, grey bricks and mutton! if I wanted future space stuff then I would be a space or star wars collector. I mean they might as well just have given the nexo knights light sabers. The only problem with this is that there are no castle or pirate themed sets for adults. They have creator (great if your a city builder), fantastic $300 Star Wars sets (again great if your a star wars guy). But HEY LEGO!! where is the Ultimate Collector series Pirate ship and castle? Where is the castle and pirate creator sets? The most expensive castle and pirate sets were only $100. I would have paid more money for a great castle or ship! Lego started out with great castle and pirates, then they have been slowly drifting away from them. It use to be you could buy a castle set and a pirate set both in the same year. Now they just alternate between the two and they keep getting worse.

    I saw the leaked pics also. Horrible, just horrible. It looks like the days of good castle sets are gone, as are the days of good pirates sets. Maybe some useful pieces for some, but nothing for me that I can see. My castle world is grey and black, not blue knights, orange pieces etc... Im disappointed here, I was excited for a new castle theme, not a space castle theme with weird and odd objects.

    I wish and long for more pirates sets.... but I think what is out now is all that will be for a while. I dont see them making any new sets for the upcoming year, I feel there gonna focus on the new castle them. Which apparently isnt a true castle theme. I miss classic Lego soo much, I was gonna buy the original imperial flagship and the caribbean clipper from brick link, but the prices are too high and quality is questionable. I am seriously considering buying another bounty to make a bluecoats ship. I have the SES as my main pirates vessel and I turned my BSB into a red coats ship.

    Should have put this in the MOC section... but anyways, it looks pretty good despite the color scheme haha. I did the same thing when I was a kid, all kinds of bricks, but all different colors haha.

    Yea the second version is MUCH better. The first one was tough to look at because all the grey and dark grey just gave it an effect that played with my eyes haha. Good job its a very nice tower and wall.

    Hooray!! For the Red Coats!! haha, Awesome ships!, Only advice I would give is to turn the flags in the direction of the sails. But wow, your ships are great! The details and the rigging is all superb! Looks like hours of fun building those bad boys!

    I agree!, As a kid of the 80's and early 90's I would spend time looking at these beautiful pictures, wishing for the sets i did not have. I even wish I had layouts like that for my stuff. I really wish technology would stop ruining classic forms of art such as these old Lego ads. Lego needs to bring back classic pirates and castle. I love my BSB, SES, IMTP etc... just wish lego would bring back those types of builds. I especially miss the minifigs! Black Knights castle came with 4 horsemen!!!! the last lego castle only had 1 horseman!!! WHY!!!!! Also why did th enew pirate ship have no monkey or parrot!

    This is a fantastic build! the deck, roof, supports and tootlhess are all very well built. The colors are great also, they flow very nicely!

    I rebuilt my Dragon knights home, this one came out much better then the last one. It is still very dark, not many bricks for accents but I feel the design is much better. I used the baseplate from Royal knights castle that i got as a kid in the early 90's. Also the top of the Keep comes off and there is a large room. I havnt finished it but I will make it the wizards lair.

    pretty good ship. I can't agree about the technic sails however. I think cloth would look the best. Its just the bulk and shape of the technic sails that makes the ship look off to me. But the rest of the ship looks good. It would be cool if you could make the ship maybe in real life the technic sails would look better.

    It looks pretty good. I like this castle, it has the TLG look down good. I think it needs more towers, but I would buy something similar to this.
