  1. I don't think so. The uploader hasn't said where he got the rumor or info from. My guess is we're just stumbling upon the old discussion we had when the Confidential CC nametag thing showed up.
  2. I just found out the B-Wing only lasted a year before retiring: https://retiringsets.com/lego-star-wars-ucs-list/ I am really surprised! It's the UCS set with the shortest lifespan! Even Assault on Hoth, which is so explicitly hated by most people, lasted longer. Does anyone know / remember why people disliked the UCS B-Wing so much?
  3. Modifying the inner frame of the Falcon is the hardest thing to do. It's certainly possible to push the frame outwards to free more interior space. Coming up with a frame that doesn't waste a lot of space should be easy. Making sure that the frame is strong enough to support the weight of the ship will be hard. The strongest and easiest frames are rectangular, and I think 75192's is as big as it be. I recommend keeping the "+" shape in the middle of the frame and then making an octogon or a dodecagon around that.
  4. Yussss! Bring on the original trilogy sets! I hope sandcrawler has good figs (looks like there are quite a few) and isn't ridiculously small.
  5. This set will probably never be at a discount. If it someday is, it'll sell out really quick. If you really, really want the MF, keep checking for availability and try to grab one while you can. If it's not a priority to buy 75192, you can always just wait till May the 4th when some UCS sets go on sale, especially in Europe.
  6. Woaw, that is damn good. I was expecting it to just move with wheels at the bottom but the rotation of the sides caught me by surprise. Well done!
  7. Not too bad. Cantina is nice. The speeder... Eh. I think black 3x3 dishes instead of transparent would have looked better. I like that it's an OT set and that there's something brand new vehicle to add to the collection. Btw, whats the release date for this?
  8. Hi, I just finished building 75192 and I noticed that a lot of the top panels are just sitting there. For those that have built efferman's stand, should I MOD the panels so that they are attached better to the frame of the ship? Are they going to fall off if I don't? Thanks.
  9. Last week I finally got 75192. I'm currently at bag 10 out of 17 and I'm already thinking about modding it (adding LEDs for the engines, especially). Also ordered parts for the efferman stand, before Bricks and Pieces probably takes a holiday break.
  10. They are not step by step instructions. They are more or less detailed pics of the secondary build so that people can reverse engineer it.
  11. So that's the deal with all that red dust. Cool little scene. Love the ground texturing.
  12. Omg, compared the PC, it's soooo tiny. Now the greenish part with the windows looks way too small to make justice to the art deco style.
  13. 220 CAD, not all that bad. The Diner looks damn good. I don't really mind the gap, perhaps it'll look best next to the Parisian Restaurant, which has a gap on the right side. Is the designer video out, yet?
  14. Good gravy, 2400 pieces? I hope it's bigger than it looks, because for what I can expect to be ~230 CAD, it looks pretty small!
  15. I think it's not a corner because there are stairs on that side that block the sidewalk and because TLG would have obviously advertised the set as to clearly show it is a corner. Would be great if it ended up being a corner, but that would be very, very, very surprising.
  16. Yeah, the Diner may look a bit awkward among European buildings like GG, CC and PS. Next to DO, AS, BB, PC, GE, FB and maybe even TH it would fit in well, though! Honestly I prefer by a lot the new American architecture rather than the European used for the first few modulars. The European buildings seem a bit bland in colours now - they feel "dry". Meanwhile, the American architecture sets are more lively and dynamic!
  17. Woaw, I really thought the whole discussion revolving around the number 10260 was just a joke. I'd be very, very, very surprised if it were a fake. Sure, it's from a chinese website. As far as I recall, the first MF leak was from a chinese source as well. The picture is of very high quality, aside from being on a ripped catalogue page. The faces may just be the evolution of modulars. The lack of tiles and plates between floors is a pretty bad argument regarding whether it is fake or not. Maybe TLG found a way to up their game and use a technique, like SNOT, to hide the tiles and keep the facade tidy?
  18. Love the dynamic of the building. It's so bright and groovy! Comparing the last 4 modulars with the Green Grocer, Town Hall and Pet Shop, I'm really digging the colorfulness of the recent modulars. The old ones are starting to look rather bland!
  19. Town Hall is smaller to make it fit in the frame. Pretty sure it has been done before with other modulars. I don't get the comment about the studs on AS. Maybe it's just the lighting, contrast and overall better quality? I'm leaning towards real. If it were a MOC, chances are someone would have already found it on the web. The catalogue looks real and the quality is on par with the other modulars.
  20. I'm pretty sure Town Hall has been pictured smaller in the lineups most of the time.
  21. I see them. Weird, it'll kinda be like the parisian restaurant, then. It's not a corner building but the width of the upper floors don't cover the width of the baseplate. Looking forward to getting the Diner (hoping it's real) and putting it next to the PR.
  22. Ooh, it also looks like it's a corner. Neat! Anyone know if there'll be an early release or if it'll just be available on the 1st of january?
  23. Woaw, it looks awesome. It'll surely stand out among the other modulars. I hope it's real, though I'm intrigued about the non-classic faces.
  24. ^Own the ship. Can confirm. 71cm tall on stand. About 60cm wide with wings deployed. 50cm deep.
  25. More or less finished one side of the nose and the back, still need to do the railings properly: And some rough pics of the interior: I'd be surprised to make some considerable process anytime soon, as my supply of bricks is running short. Comments and especially recommendations are welcome.
