Jeep Wrangler TJ
Jurss replied to Jeka Jackson's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nice. I only don't like that front protections frame. It's somehow out of main design. -
Why? I have no problems with it on latest Windows versions. It's the easyest for me. I also didn't searched for anything else ...

[MOC] Small Supercar
Jurss replied to Jurss's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Why? And it will be pretty close to ground (less then stud). Maybe, but it could affect the look in not the good way. I started to build second car yesterday, but it's impossible to fit everything with standard battery, which i have. I'll try to build some fake li-po battery today, to try place everything. maybe i could fit also standard battery, but then i need rebuild pretty much the body. Yes, and i didn't saw before Your A-team car with that steering. I saw only something like that with small actuators, which was with no direct mechanism. I'll try better to rebuild steering mechanisms so, that i could place something like seats and dushboard. Maybe after that some openable rear with some fake engine. -

1. Yes, the roof could be lower maybe, but then i have to make some smooth curve, angle. 2. I'm afraid, that i can't make it powered, only if power source is external, mayyybeeee with some li-po battery, or with some custome battery. -

Everything started with front axle, where wheel steering center is at wheel center. As it is almost impossible with existing parts, had to "cheat" and create something like multilink. As there was chassis, built some body on it -

I'm also building slow, because i want to enjoy the process. When building, i'm also thinking about construction, how it is made, why it is made so. I don't even count building time. I also don't have time, to sit and build something at once, especcialy Arocs. I spent allredy two evenings on #1 labeled packs. Togehther it is some 2h, with some small brakes. This evening i will contunue with #2

[MOC/WIP] Small-scale RC car

Good compact design. And yes, U joints won't even work, i think. Will there be some li-po battery on the rear? -

There was allready this kind of steering mechanisms, but there was used small actuators, to steer. I wanted it to make more traditional. With some 10th steup, i came to this solution. It would be good, to make it lower, but i didn't figured it out until now. -
[WIP] Megacar

Interesting suspensions. But... 1. Isn't it too wide? From this angle it looks so for me. 2. Isn't motors too close to rear wheels? Is ther one stud or even half? From this angle it also looks so. As it's pretty hard to fix wheels, their axles, they could in some cases touch motors at this setup. -

Very interesting concpet but what's wrong with rebrick? Does this contest broke it, or they didn't want to give prizes? Maybe it's only me, who is redirected to lego main site? -

Something like Mercedes. Something like offroad, agriculture truck. Steering (knob with grey center), body tilt (knob with red center). Knobs on bouth sides. Main idea about cabin design. -

Something pullback with all wheel drive. Body is just to look something like car.
