Excellent work. I like the removable magazine. This thread somehow already took a turn one reply in.

[MOC] Kaneda's bike from Akira (with instructions)

Nice work. I personally haven't watched the movie, but your build is very smooth and well proportioned. -
Yesterday I picked up Aaron's Aero Striker......twice? I ordered the first one a few days ago, and the geniuses and USPS slapped a huge sticker on the back of the box, which came in no packaging and was dented in several places. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I called up Amazon about the incident, and they sent me a second one, this time in a box (With airbags to boot!). They also let me keep the other one. I opened and built the damaged one and kept the new one in the box. All in all, win? By the way, the set is excellent, perhaps the best in the wave, or at least in a dead heat with the Volcano Lair. It has a good figure selection, plenty of features, and best of all, it's swooshable. Very, very swooshable.

Nice build. The Batman windshield looks great in here. The color scheme is also outstanding. I also like the title of this thread.

Could SLCC someday have Lego exclusives?
BrickJagger replied to xboxtravis7992's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hm. I don't see a whole lot more potential for growth from those stats. Sure, the 72k-120k jump is massive, but the increases of only 5k last year and 2k this year (Judging by the first post) show that that's pretty much the maximum amount of people interested in going. Also, do you count the "FanXperiences" as Comic Cons or no? In conclusion, that is a lot of people, but there isn't growth, which is probably what Lego needs to consider it as an option. -
I like how you've incorporated the Tudor panels into the house on the left. It really fits the harbor scene well. I also like the roofing of that house a lot.

If You Play The Game Of Bricks You Win Or You Die

Nice work resizing some of the shields into the triangular ones. I like that you've included some of the more obscure factions like the Serpents and Yellow Dragons.- 10 replies

LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
BrickJagger replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks, amazingbricks! Very interesting info. My thoughts: Looks like I made the right call not picking up Clay's Rumble Blade. Although it's a great set this jet sounds even better. Jestro's Technic Thing: I assume the Technic parts serve a larger purpose, maybe it transforms? Sounds pretty cool. I figure that Aaron is the owner of the small vehicle, since Clay and Lance have vehicles in this wave, Macy already got her second vehicle and Axl can't really fit in anything small. I figured Ruina's vehicle would be weird, that seems to be the trend for $20 NK sets. The Bike sound like a nice army builder. Good thing I didn't buy up a bunch of the bike polys from this year, this new set sounds better. Might pick up Lance's Cruiser, depends on how good it is. The description is an interesting way to describe it, but I'm hopeful. All in all, this sounds like a step forward from the last wave. I'd love a few descriptions of the rock monsters as well, if they weren't just placeholders. -
Forever is a powerful word. Ten years, max. Ninjago can and will die out, and it will happen sooner than later. They're already clearly running out of ideas, and I don't think a reboot will go over well with the original fans. Nexo Knights is planned for three years, it will be off the shelves by 2019/2020 even if it gets an extension due to popularity, which could happen. Castle will come back one day. The Castle fans of today are in the same position as the Castle fans from 1997-2007, but were rewarded with five years of strong sets and two classic sub themes, and well as gems from the lines in that bracket. Also, feel free to post on these boards anytime you want. It's pretty dead in here right now, and we could use a lively discussion about....something.

LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion

If you have such a passionate hatred for Nexo Knights, then I would love an explanation as to why at least a quarter of your total posts have been in threads relating to the theme. -
Love it! I think the interior might be the best part.

Haha, nice. How did you attach the snorkel/mask? Looking closely I think you put the ears and horn on top of a 2x3 plate, but I can't tell.

Could SLCC someday have Lego exclusives?
BrickJagger replied to xboxtravis7992's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Maybe. Do you have a ballpark figure of how fast it's growing in attendance per year as compared to the other two? The problem is that a lot more people talk about the other two, more famous Comic-Cons. I personally have no idea when SLCC starts each year. However, if there's enough growth I figure that Lego would at least dip a toe into the waters. -

Castle Themes: In Historical Context
BrickJagger replied to Sir E Fullner's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice little write-up. The like how you even linked the Fantasy factions back to the real world. Would you mind explaining how the 2013 Dragons represent England? I'm not really seeing the similarities, and I consider them a Fantasy faction. -
